Beware the Multiple Killing Games AU

Haru Shinkai (13): The Mastermind behind the Killing Games. He normally wears a red hoodie and long green jeans, choosing to put the hoodie up most of the time. "Shy"? That's just something he puts up to hide his true nature; a malicious villain bent on entertaining himself through killing games. With Tagiru and Yuujin, his husbands, at his side, he's willing to resort to anything just to satisfy himself. = Haru's old partner, Bookworm, had a fight with him after Tagiru left him for Tokyo. This in turn began his sadistic side; whenever he was not happy with Bookworm, he would do a lot of things just to see her suffer. Of course, he knew when to stop. However, Bookworm then left him, leaving him alone. This went on for a few years, to the point that Ai was worried and approached him. But Haru, angered by Ai's words, lashed out and kidnapped her, torturing her until she died. It was then that he realised how dirty it was to kill others. Why not let them do it themselves? That gave birth to the prototype idea of the Killing Games worldwide, which he managed to recruit Tagiru and Yuujin into.

Tagiru Akashi (13): Tagiru may look sweet and innocent on the outside, but the truth is that Tagiru is a nasty person who likes pretending to be nice in order to trick his victims into murder during the killing games. He loves watching the sweet, sweet betrayal in their eyes when that happens. While he DOES believe in ghosts, he doesn't care; he just wants to watch them all suffer. He usually wears a blue shirt, red jeans and a green jacket, but with Haru and Yuujin, he uses a red shirt and blue pants. = After he left his hometown, Tagiru had a fight with his own partner, Idiotic. During that fight, Idiotic shouted that he should get over his crush on Haru, since it was never going to happen. That drove him to use his words to make Idiotic feel immense guilt to the point that she believed that it was all her fault and thus left to repent. This experience scarred Tagiru, but he felt so thrilled by it, so he began to use it to gain more friends. When he reunited with Haru, the other male could see this, and thus proposed the killing games. Loving the idea, Tagiru accepted, and began dating Haru and Yuujin afterwards.

Yuujin Oozora (13): A human who moves to Haru's school after his mother tried to kill him for money. Haru, being the kind person he was back then, approached him and comforted him, causing them to become best friends. When he slowly began to become popular, he never forgot about Haru, and used his outer personality to bring more friends for Haru so he wouldn't be lonely. It was Yuujin who Haru called after killing Ai, which made him happy, since he never really liked her for forgetting about Haru, and so he used his connections to destroy Ai's reputation. This was one of the few seeds for the killing games, which Haru commended Yuujin for. Eventually, he met Tagiru and fell in love with him too. = Outgoing? Pah, call him manipulative. Kind? That's just something he wants you to see when the truth is that he's just as bad as Haru and Tagiru. Yuujin acts as the scout for killing game participants, getting close to them before kidnapping the ones he deemed worthy enough for them. He and Haru usually stay behind the camera, controlling an AI called Leviathan who's the overseer of the games. He also loves Haru and Tagiru very much. He usually wears a green shirt and blue pants when he's recruiting, but with his lovers he uses all black.

Shimura Tenko/ Shigaraki Tomura (27): After remembering the truth about himself and meeting his grandmother, Shimura Nana, Tenko chose to stop being a villain and surrendered. A few months in jail gave him the opportunity to repent, so once he was out of jail, he became a detective. He was then entrusted the multiple killing games case, which he accepted. He first met the trio while investigating the 5th Killing Game, the Hero one, realising that he was the Mastermind, and has been on their trail ever since. = After repenting, Tenko is now a sarcastic but lovable puffball who focuses on his work so much he can overwork himself. He firmly believes in second chances, and is currently saving up money to start up a criminal rehab center. However, when he has to get serious, he does. He usually wears a light blue hoodie, blue training pants and a green beanie on his hat. People usually like exchanging that beanie for a beret, which earned him the nickname Beret Puffball, which he openly dislikes.

Tomoki Himi (15): A gamer and a close friend of Tenko. He first met him after coming back from the Digital world in Tokyo and meeting Satoshi. Tomura was about to attack him, but Tomoki blocked. This started a fight between Tomoki and Satoshi against Tomura, which went nicely once they figured out his Quirk. However, Tomura was smart and used this against them, nearly annihilating them in the process. Thankfully, they managed to dodge that and rushed away, with Tomura hot on their heels. In the chase, they stumbled into the Hero cemetery and ended up trapped near Nana's grave. Tomura is about to end them when he sees the photo of Nana, which triggered the slow return of his memories. That made the duo realise that he could still be saved, and thus pleaded for him to stop. With that, All for One's hypnosis on him finally stopped, and Tomura remembered. He broke down on the spot and cried for his family. Feeling pity for him, the two promised to be his family, which shocked and touched him at the same time. This is how their friendship began, which developed as the months went by. = He is an optimistic person who loves games and believes that everyone can be better. A skilled martial arts fighter, he can use these skills if needed. He finds Tenko as his tsundere older brother, while he loves Satoshi as a lover. He was supposed to be part of the Chosen Children Killing Game, but he had been at Tokyo at that time, which irks Haru to no end. Tomoki wants to get justice for Takuya, Kouji, Kouichi, Izumi and Junpei, who were all killed in said game, which shows in his violent attitude towards them when they clash.

Satoshi (17): This Pokemon trainer moved from Alola to Tokyo for a fresh start, meeting Tomoki as his roommate in an apartment. They became fast friends and eventually fell in love with each other, though they were too embarrassed and scared to admit it. This changed once they befriended Tenko, helping him repent while Tenko helped them realise that the feeling was mutual. In the end, Satoshi confessed to Tomoki, and thus the two began to date. Tenko likes teasing them about this, which embarrasses them even more. = A determined person, Satoshi does not approve of killings, which is why he, Tomoki and Tenko are trying to stop the multiple killing games. Even though he may be a bit rude and abrasive at times, his heart is in the right place, which is something Tenko secretly admires of him. He usually wears his Alola outfit plus a blue jacket. He fights with Pikachu by his side, and has been approved of by the government. His parents, his mom plus Kokoci, have lomg approved of this as well, but he still calls home every day.

Killing Games: Started by Haru, Tagiru and Yuujin, these killing games began in Haru's school, where everyone was told to kill each other or face the consequences; having their deepest darkest secrets exposed. At first, everyone laughed at them, but then their secrets were slowly recited over the speaker, which terrified them all. This in turn caused a massacre, leaving only one person as the survivor; Watson. He was scarred for life, though, and is currently in a mental hospital for being a psychopath. This was the 1.0 Game, which preceded the next few games, beginning with the Tobot games, to the Chosen Children games, to the Monster Farm killing game, to the Hero game (this is when they meet Tenko face-to-face), then to many more. They were all supervised by Leviathan, an AI Yuujin and Haru devised, and had Tagiru as their participant/mole.

AU Bio: This is only one of the many Swapped Roles worlds. Commonly called the Null-Appmon Universe or the Multiple Killing Game AU, it has Haru, Tagiru, and Yuujin as their main villains and Tenko as the protagonist. Tenko is assisted by Tomoki Himi and Satoshi/Ash, his closest friends and the ones who helped him stop being a villain. The trio are in a race against time to stop the multiple killing games from destroying the world population.

Fated Meeting, An MKG AU story by Ficmata

"N-No.... NOOOOOO!"
"T-Tenko-nii! Get yourself together!" a male teenager tried to help a sky-blue-haired adult up, only to be pushed away by said male, "I can't, Tomoki! So... So many lives taken... AGAIN!"
"But regretting won't change anything!" another male teenager, older than Tomoki, pleaded.
"I-I...." Tenko fell silent, his tears dripping down. "I-It's not that, Toshi.... I-I..."
"You what?" Tomoki asked, his tone more stable than before.
"I-I.... I never got to apologise...." he confessed heavily. "I-I never got to apologise to HIM...."
The him he was referring to was All Might AKA Yagi Toshinori, the first victim in the Hero Killing Game, as it was officially titled.
The person he hated for so long.
Who he tried to kill so many times.
And failed.
Who he harboured so much vemon, so much anger towards, unaware that he was his grandmother's student who had tried to search for him for so long.
And now...
He was dead.
Killed by his own ally.
What twisted humour. Backstabbed (quite literally) by Uraraka Ochako, a member of Class 1-A.
It ....
It hurt him so much.
Seeing his dead body.
So frail, so weak.....
A great hero like him shouldn't have died like that.
He shouldn't have died in such a classically tragic way.
He wasn't Romeo.
He wasn't Hamlet.
His fists clenched tightly, "I'm so sorry, Yagi-san..... I've wronged you.... I've wronged you so much... All because I believed in All for One...."
"Ten-nii...." Satoshi hugged him softly, rubbing circles as he sobbed quietly.
Tomoki did the same, whispering encouraging words into the adult's ears.
After a while, Tenko managed to calm down, and thus headed off to the public bathrooms to cool off and wipe his tears.
He looked up to the mirror, seeing a sad face with tear marks. His light blue hoodie was wrinkled and slightly dirtied by the time when he had gone to his knees, as was his jeans. Scarlet eyes stared back at him.
Grief and regret and all its relatives were written on his face.
"I'm sorry, Yagi-san... I promise that I'll make it up to you..." he whispered, eyes slowly beginning to light up in fiery determination. "I hope that you've been reunited with Grandma..."
Finally calming down, Tenko quickly washed his face with water before moving to dry his face, taking tissue from the dispenser provided. Then, he stepped out of the bathroom-
"Ow!" someone fell to the ground, wincing in pain.
"Ah, gomenasai!" Tenko apologised as he reached out to the younger male.
"G-Genki ne," the stranger smiled before he took the hand, getting up with the detective's help. "I wasn't looking either."
"Thanks," the ex-villain grinned softly.
"It's nothing."
"No, I insist-"
Stop.
His eyes widened as he caught something on the other's hoodie.
An old memory floated back to his mind during his interview with Watson back when he was just starting off with this case.
'You know, there was something weird about Tagiru....... He ... He had this weird L imprinted on his shirt..... So did the others who made us kill each other....'
He remembered asking the traumatized victim to draw it out once he said that he could still recall what it looked like.
A dragon-like L with a dot at the intersection.
The very same symbol the stranger was wearing now.
"S-Sir? Are you okay?" the stranger- no, mastermind, Tenko decided- asked, 'pure' concern in his eyes.
"I-I'm fine," the detective replied, avoiding eye contact before he tried to leave.
Only to have his hand grasped tightly by the other male.
"Those eyes say another story," an evil tone filled with malice hummed as he was then pulled back in.
The door was locked, leaving the two inside.
Tenko's eyes narrowed, "So you really are the Multiple Killing Games' mastermind."
"Not just me, honestly," he giggled. "There's Yuujin and Tagiru~"
"Then what about you?" he got his Quirk ready, eyes focused while trying to distract his foe.
He shrugged innocently, "Who, me? I'm just little lonely Shinkai Haru!~"
"Shinkai Haru, huh? Why are you involved with them?" he decided to play along with Haru's game. He had to get close enough to arrest him.
Haru just laughed at him, "What do you mean? I'm not just involved with them. I'm their leader!~"
Called it, he mentally cheered in his head, "R-Really?! But you look so..."
"Innocent?" he grinned. "I had a feeling. I like playing that card. It makes me feel like Giru whenever he infiltrates the games."
Tenko scowled, "Why are you doing this anyway? Why make people kill each other?"
"Why, isn't it obvious?" Haru tilted his head, as it was just child's play to him.
His next words chilled Tenko to the bone.
"Because humanity is broken. Weak. Fragile. Yet they can still look down on others. Thinking that they're weaker. I hate that so much. So watching them fall... Fall into the thing they swore not to is so interesting. Watching them fall and die is so beautiful. It's the art of murder. A wondrous one indeed."
It.... Somehow reminded him of himself as Shigaraki Tomura. Back when he was a villain. Who loved murder and death.
But now....
He wasn't that villain.
He was Shimura Tenko, not Shigaraki Tomura.
Not anymore.
He was his own person.
And he....
He was going to use his past to stop others.
That was a promise.
For his grandmother, who he let down when he listened to All for One.
For Yagi Toshinori, who died in the Hero Killing Game. Who he wronged so much.
For Tomoki and Satoshi, the two who believed in him and stuck to him the entire time. Through his tears and pain and suffering.
This was a promise he would keep to the end.
That he was sure of.
"You're wrong," Tenko replied to Haru.
"H-Huh?" the teen blinked.
"Murder is not an art. Murder is a crime," Tenko took out his handcuffs. "I'll make sure you see that."
Haru's eyes widened in shock and alarm, backing away at the sight of it, "W-What the...?"
"Shinkai Haru," Tenko deactivated his Quirk and reached out to him. "I want to show you the beauty of life. The beauty that you should see. So please... Let me."
"....." Haru went silent, eyes travelling to Tenko's scarlet orbs.
"..... Ahahahhaa....." Haru giggled slightly.
From a giggle, it developed into a full-blown laugh of pure cruelty and iciness.
"SO FUNNY!" Haru laughed like a hyena. "You're quite the unique opponent, Sir!~ I can't wait to fight you in the future!~"
"Wait what-" "Bai bai!~" Haru sang before suddenly throwing something at him, sending him back before the young adult disappeared.
"Curses...." Tenko mumbled, holding his stomach in pain as he did so. "It hurts so much....."
The door chose that moment to be kicked down, revealing the culprits to be Tomoki and Satoshi, who gasped upon seeing his state.
"TENKO-NII!" the two rushed to his side, supporting him before helping him out of the toilet, setting him on a nearby bench.
"You okay?!" Tomoki asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I am," Tenko smiled at him softly. "You don't have to worry about me."
"How can we not?! You worried us so much when you didn't come back!" Satoshi chastised.
"We thought you somehow met the mastermind and got killed!" Tomoki wailed into Tenko's hoodie.
"Well, you're somehow right, Moki," Tenko honestly admitted. "I DID meet one of the 3 masterminds."
"WAIT WHAT?!" the two looked at him once more, shock in their eyes.
Tenko nodded, a small smile on his face, "Better yet, I have all 3 names."
"Oh, Tenko-nii!" Tomoki immediately hugged him. "You did great! Even though I feel ready to hit you!"
"Yeah, I know," the adult laughed.
"We're a step closer to ending the games!" Satoshi cheered.
"Well then, let's do this guys!" Tenko put his hand out, which was reciprocated by the duo, "Oh!"
'Grandma, Yagi-san.... We WILL end these games.
I swear on it.'
