Greetings, I am Charlotte Nixon and I am a black cat. I bet you are asking me how I can write? Well I have these incredible reading and writing skills and taught myself how to read when I was a kit. I learned how to type on a computer and I really love playing with the mouse, but I'm not as fond of it as I am with real mice. I love living with my partner, Detective Lana Nixon but I haven't lived with her my whole life.

I was an ally cat, living in a little corner by a trash can in the middle of a big city. One stormy day, I was looking for shelter as I ran into her. She was wearing a raid jacket and she even looked like a detective. She picked me up and took me to her small one bedroom apartment.

She is a great partner and I am too, but the day she brought this other ally cat named Mr. Whiskers;who is a big pain in the tail home with her I was so angry. He is an elder cat and spends most of his day sleeping while the other part of the day is eating and telling us stories.

The day she brought in a puppy was even worse. His name was Scout and he is a German Shepard, but he's 6 now so he's not a puppy anymore. She also brought another puppy home, who is this Shih Tzu. His name is Ruffles. He was a stray pup found in a box in the side of the road by Lana just last week.

I felt bad for him, so me and Scout decided to treat him like his parents since he doesn't remember his own family for being so young.

Scout and I love to help Lana with her job and she loves the help. I always go with her to the crime scenes while Scout stays at home to watch Mr. Whiskers and Ruffles to keep them out of trouble unless Lana needs his special nose senses. But these days I am the only one able to help her with her job ever since Scout lost his sense of smell.

I feel bad for him because he enjoys helping Lana. Lana says that his senses will come back, but they haven't and he's worried that it'll be permanent.

My first mystery I got to solve was the best day of my life...
The case of the missing golden paw

The golden paw is this famous ancient artifact found in one of the pyramids of Egypt and someone has stolen it.

But don't you worry because Charlotte Nixon is on the case.
