Kid's pov

It's been a couple of days since Luna told everyone about her curse. Maka, Blackstar, and Crona are all out on missions, leaving just Luna and me, and our partners of course.

Being a Tuesday, Luna and the twins were training with my father, leaving Liz, Patty, and me alone in class. It was pretty boring since Stein insisted on dissecting again today.

Patty was currently napping while Liz did her nails. I didn't bother them since I doubt anyone was really paying much attention to Stein anyway.

Maybe today would be a nice day to spend with Luna. Since the others aren't here, it'll be just us for a change.

I do admit that Luna's become a close friend of mine and I've grown rather fond of her. She's just so...great.

She has a wonderful personality, she's a strong meister, she doesn't get annoyed with my OCD, and she's almost perfectly symmetrical, not to mention beautiful.

Class seemed to drag on as I thought about a day with Luna. It'd be really nice if it was just us two, but I doubt our weapons would give us that chance.

After classes were finally over, I decided to go see if Luna was done training. I turned toward Liz and Patty.

"I'm going to head to the Death Room."

Liz grabbed her sister's arm. "Well count us out. Patty and I planned to go shopping today."

"Very well then. I'll see you two later."

They quickly left as I made my way in the opposite direction. A smile tugged at my lips at the convenience. Now if only Drake and Drew had plans of there own.

Entering the Death Room, I saw Luna floating in the middle of the room. Two small, serpent-like shadows circling around her. My father was watching her until he noticed me.

"Hey there, Kiddo! Wazzup, what brings you here?!"

"I just came to see Luna."

My father gestured me over. Standing in front of Luna, she opened one eye and smiled at me.

"Hi, Kid."

I returned her smile. "Almost finished for today?"

"Almost. Give me a minute."

I nodded as she opened her other eye and held her hands out, palms up. The two flying shadow serpents dove straight to her hands, turning into shadowy orbs in her palms.

Closing her hands, the orbs disappeared as she floated down to her feet. My father clapped his hands.

"Good job, Luna! That concludes training for today. In fact, I believe I've taught you everything I can."

She looked at him in surprise. "Really? You mean, our training's over? We can return to normal classes?"

My father nodded. "For the time being, at least. I think you'll be able to teach yourself from now on. But if you ever need my help with anything, feel free to come see me."

She bowed her head. "I will. Thank you for everything you've taught me, Lord Death."

Luna's pov

I left the Death Room with Kid, letting the twins change back to human form. Exiting the DWMA, I looked around before tilting my head at Kid.

"Where's Liz and Patty?"

"They went shopping. I was wondering if you'd like to hang out today since the others are away on missions."

My eyes widened slightly. Kid wants to hang out, with me? I had to admit, after everything he's done for me, I have developed a bit of a crush on the reaper.

He is pretty handsome, and to think, he actually wants to hang out with me. I grinned and nodded.

"Sure, sounds like fun."

I almost forgot about the twins behind me. I looked back at them to see a smirk on both of their faces.

Drake said, "Well, have fun. Drew's going to help me catch up on my schoolwork. Later."

They waved to us and left. I narrowed my eyes in their direction. Now I know that was a lie. Drake doesn't care about his schoolwork.

Did they actually do this just to get me alone with Kid? Ugh, those two. I turned back to Kid.

I calmly said, "Whelp, guess it's just you and me."

He smiled. "Apparently. So, where would you like to go?"

I shrugged. "Doesn't matter to me. Though I could go for a snack."

"Come on, there's a nice little cafe just down the street."

I nodded and followed him. He led me to a small cafe where we sat at an outside table with an umbrella. A waitress soon approached our table.

"Hi, can I take your order?"

I thought for a moment. "I'd like a slice of chocolate pie and a soda, please."

"Make that two sodas."

The waitress nodded and left. I tilted my head at Kid. "You're not getting anything to eat?"

He shook his head. "I'm not really hungry."

The waitress soon came back with our orders and I immediately took a bite of the pie.

"Mmm, this pie is great."

Kid chuckled at me before taking a sip of his soda. We talked about all kinds of things while I ate.

After I finished my pie, the waitress came back and left the bill. As I began reaching for it, Kid quickly put his hand over it.

"I'll pay."

"But I'm the only one who ordered any food."

He shook his head. "I'm the one who invited you here, besides, isn't the gentleman supposed to pay for the lady?"

I bet my cheeks were tinted pink as I shyly nodded. "Thanks, Kid."

After leaving the cafe, we walked around the city a bit before heading back to Gallows Mansion. It was close to sunset when we got back.

"I had fun, Kid. Thanks for inviting me out."

He smiled. "No problem. I enjoy spending time with you."

I returned his smile before saying, "Well, I'm going to get a shower."

I headed upstairs to Drake and Drew's room. Drake was listening to music while Drew was busy reading a book.

"Schoolwork, huh?"

Drake turned down his music. "Yeah, well, we finished early. So, how'd your date go, Lulu?"

I felt my face heat up. "It wasn't a date! We just hung out is all."

Drew looked up from his book. "I think that qualifies as a date."

"We're just friends. That's it. You know what, I don't have to discuss this with you. I need a shower."

I quickly left their room and headed to mine. I grabbed my pajamas and left my room, going to the bathroom.

I undressed and stuck my clothes in the hamper before slipping into the shower. I felt refreshed at the warm water against my skin. Nothing like a nice shower after an eventful day.

Drake's pov

Just friends she says. Hmph, I don't think she feels that way at all. I turned off my music and thought for a moment.

A smirk spread across my lips. "I think I have an idea. Luna said she was getting a shower, right?"

Drew closed his book with a sigh. "Whatever you're thinking, it's a bad idea."

"Pssh, no way, bro. It'll be funny, and for Kid, I'd say it'd be a nice little treat."

Drew looked confused as I quickly left the room. I headed to the bathroom. Luckily, Luna forgot to lock the door.

I slipped inside, hearing the water going behind the shower curtain. I quickly grabbed her clothes and left. I waited outside until I heard the shower turn off.

Luna's pov

Getting out of the shower, I dried myself off. That's when I realized my clothes were gone. I stood in surprise for a moment before it hit me.

"Draaaaaaake!!!"

I wrapped my towel around me and burst through the door. I could see a blue haired figure round the corner at the end of the hall.

I immediately ran after him. "Drake! Get back here with my-oof!"

Rounding the corner, I run into something and fall forward. I sit up a bit and realize that I was now laying on top of Kid. I felt my face heat up as he stared at me, wide eyed and red faced.

"Ah, I'm so sorry, Kid!"

He averted his gaze and nervously replied, "It's alright. But why are you running around in a towel?"

"Drake took my clothes. That idiot just had to pull some stupid prank."

I then looked up to see Drake smirking and holding my clothes down the hall. I quickly got off Kid and ran after him.

"Drake! Give me my clothes!"

Kid's pov

I can't believe that just happened. Luna fell on me, and she was practically naked!

I picked myself up and glanced in the direction she ran. For some reason, I get the sneaking suspicion that Drake planned this. I regained my composure before heading to my room.

As I lay in bed that night, my mind kept going back to Luna. I shut my eyes and tried to just clear my head and fall asleep.

I did manage to eventually fall asleep, but I quickly slipped into a dream about Luna.

I looked down into her beautiful, violet eyes. She panted as she lay underneath me in a completely submissive state.

I had her hands pinned on either side of her head as she gazed up at me helplessly. I slowly leaned down, pushing my lips against hers.

I kissed her deeply and passionately before trailing my lips down to her neck. She moaned softly as my teeth grazed her sensitive skin.

I pulled away to look at her face again. She was absolutely beautiful and I felt myself losing control as she quietly said my name.

Her next words sent me over the edge.

"Kid, I need you."

I woke up with a start, looking around to see it was still dark outside. I rubbed my head.

"What a dream. I shouldn't be dreaming of Luna like that."

I laid back down, thinking of that dream as I sighed to myself. I blame Drake for this, what with his stupid prank earlier.

I closed my eyes again, trying my best to go back to sleep. Luckily, I didn't have another dream like that for the rest of the night.

Luna's pov

The next day, we were called to the Death Room before classes started. Kid and I headed there with our weapons to see Lord Death.

"Hey there, you two! I have a mission for you! I need you both to head to the eastern coast to take care of a group of kishins."

I tilted my head. "The coast? As in the beach?"

He nodded. "Yes, they are some kind of aquatic kishins that have been targeting young women. Which is why I'm sending Kid along with you, Luna. Being a girl, you will likely be targeted."

I nodded as Kid said, "We'll take care of it, father."

We quickly left and took the fastest train to the east. We should be there in a few days but it'll probably seem longer to me.

I wonder what's up with these aquatic kishins. And why are they targeting women? I guess we'll find out in the coming days.
