Prologue: A floating City?!?!

(Just to be clear I do not own RWBY or Bioshock infinite! They belong to there respected owners!!)

Just to let all of you know Michael won't have his weapons in this book as he will get the weapons from the game!

I have planned a better ending for the game!

=======================================================================

Ahh... Beacon Academy, 1 of 4 main schools to help train young teenagers how to become hunters and huntress's. Now some may think that it doesn't take too much to become a hunter or huntress like good fighting skills, a good weapon, and a strong enough semblance. Well in truth some of those things do apply to becoming a professional hunter or huntress taking the time in a school to train you is sometimes much more. And the same could be said to Private Michael Connors of Team MARN (Marine) as he was exhausted from a long day of classes.

'Its hot today.' Michael thought to himself. 'But boy am I sure glad that the classes are finally over for the day, now I can relax.'

You see Michael is a US Marine from WW1 and the rest of his team was made up from marines from various conflicts of time. From Michael's point of view he was the oldest of the four others as the conflict he was from was almost 80 years apart from Nicks conflict which was in the 1990's so that made him the oldest. Right now he was in his WW1 uniform just walking aroung the academy grounds for a little fresh air, he wasn't carrying his weapons as they were in his teams dorm as he didn't feel the need to carry them around with him.

'Man this is relaxing.' Michael thought. 'A bit of fresh air is always nice.'

It seemed like nothing could ruin the young marine's afternoon as he was enjoying the nice peaceful day. But as he was walking down a sidewalk he noticed a dust bile underneath a bench almost as if someone had lost it. Michael then grabbed the unknown bile of dust and noticed it was a mixed color of purple and blue he then saw the label where name of the dust was but when he looked at it he saw it was labeled 'unknown'.

"Maybe Weiss lost it when she was walking around." Michael said to himself. "I guess I could go take it back to her."

But then he thought about another choice in his head as he was curious on what this unknown dust could actually do.

'I mean, a small test never hurt anyone right?' Michael asked himself in his head as he removed the cork at the opening the container causing a little bit of the dust to float out into the air. The WW1 marine stuck his right index finger into the bile and had it covered in the dust. He then held it closer to his face to have a better look and started rubbing the unknown dust on the rest of his fingers but while doing this it caused him to inhale a little bit of the dust into his nose and suddenly he felt like sneezing.

'Oh man, I got to sneeze.' Michael thought as he tried his best to hold back the sneeze. He then put the cork back on the bottom in order not to inhale more into his nose. But soon it became too much to handle and he then went "Ah...ah...aaahhhhcccccoooooooo!"

Soon when he sneezed little strings of lighting started going up around the WW1 marine and he was suddenly engulfed in all the lighting around him and it became a ball of lighting. Michael had to cover his eyes because of the brightness of all the lighting that was around him and there was a point to where he had to close his eyes in order not to become blind. This went on for what seemed like a few minutes to Michael but it was only like thirty seconds.

Transition!!!==============================================

Soon the light died down and Michael slowly opened his eyes to try and look around to see if he was still on Beacon grounds. But what Michael saw was blue skies and white clouds all around him but the second he looked down he soon realized he wasn't standing on solid ground instead he was in the air not being supported by anything.

'Oh boy, this is gonna be bad.' Michael thought. Then he started falling from very high up and fell the air fly past his as he fell down. Michael was then praying in his head that he wound some how survive this big fall as he fell through some clouds and when that happened city buildings started to become visible to Michael as he tried to figure out which one had a soft surface to safety land. He then set his sights on the a big inflatable figure that was near one of the roofs of the house and he put his sights of the inflatable trying everything he could think of to possibly slow down before impact.

Soon Michael slammed into the inflatable and the air giant was somehow able to stop the marines fall to death and soon he landed on feet onto solid ground again. When he stood up to get a better look at his surroundings he saw what could only be described as buildings that were floating in the air of all shapes and sizes. The undersides of all the buildings had large air blimps and fans possibly to keep them floating in the air and what was most surprising to the marine was that the buildings designs looked like they were from the time period from where he came from but he knew for a fact that he had no knowledge of any cities that float in the skies anywhere in the world.

(Like this...)

"I need to find out where the hell I am." Michael said to himself. "Then I can see if I am still on remnant or not."

He then started to look for a way to get off the roof but then he accidently kicked a small box which caught his attention. Michael then kneeled down to examine the box closer and saw that it could be opened by flipping a simple latch and that's what he did. He then opened the box and it revealed to have a pistol to which he was familiar with in a fine golden details.

(This is what is in the box a golden pistol or the Mauser C96... I wish I had this in real life :(....)

"C96 huh?" Michael said as he pulled the charging handle back seeing how it was loaded and then let it slid forward. "I can make this work incase I run into trouble."

But he then noticed something different about the pistol as it had a button on its left side and Michael pressed and out came a small box magazine into his left hand. He then looked at more closely and realized that this C96 had been modified to have a detachable box magazine on it probably to speed up reloads.

'Well at least its better then stripper clips.' Michael thought as he reinserted the magazine and put the C96 into his holster and grabbed the other 6 magazines from the box and put them into his ammo pockets.  Finding a latter down he then climbed down off the roof and soon down to a street where he saw a few people walking around minding their own business.

Michael thought it was best to not say or ask much to much of the civilians too many questions as he didn't want to bring attention to himself. Michael then had a better look around and could see that the people all around were wearing clothing from around the 1910's so he could figure out what time period he was in. He then started walking in a general direction to which he thought could help him get a bearing of where he was. It was then he saw a little sigh post that read "Come and join the 1912 Columbia Raffle!"

'1912? That means the war hasn't started yet.' Michael thought. 'I guess I could go see what this raffle is all about.'

Michael then started walking in the direction to where the raffle was going on. While he was walking there a few of the people he walked by greeted him with either a "Hi" or "How are you doing?" to which Michael replied back "Hello" and "I'm doing just fine." But their was a couple of times where he had to ask for directions to the raffle and soon he arrived at the Columbia fair where he saw many attractions and refreshment stands.

"Well, this is certainly something." Michael said to himself as he said to look around at all the attractions and wanted to try out a few of them. "I suppose a few of the games couldn't hurt."

Time skip after playing a few of the games...

Now after playing a few of the games Michael had won around about $200 silver eagles which was the currency that was in the town he was in. He figured that money would come in handy for later as it could buy him supplies he could need for ahead. He then saw the doorway to where the raffle was going on but as he was going to put a sliver eagle in the slot for a ticket the machine then said "Sorry buddy the raffle is all sold out, entry is only for reserved guest and VIPS."

"I guess that doesn't mean me." Michael said to himself. "No respect for veterans these days."

That meant Michael had to find another way to get to the raffle, fortunately for the young marine a young girl noticed how downed the he was and decided to help him.

"Hey mister!" The girl called out catching the marines attention. "Having trouble with machines? I think I can help with that."

Michael then approached the young girl and wonder how in the world she could help him get inside to the raffle.

"Okay how can you help me?" Michael asked and the girl offered him a green colored bottle drink with a green fluid inside of it. "What's this?"

"It's a vigor that can turn machines into your allies." The girl answered. "Just a whisper and their all yours~."

Michael then popped the cork off the top of the bottle and drank a little bit, the drink itself tasted a little sweet and then had a sour after taste. He then put the cork back on the bottle and put it into his backpack and suddenly saw that the girl was blowing him a green colored heart made up of some kind of vapor.

"What the heck was in that drink?" Michael asked as his vision started to clear up.

"Nothing you can't handle." The girl assured. "Now go enjoy the raffle."

Michael then gave the girl a couple of sliver eagles to thank her and she then told him how the vigor work by simply pointing at the machine you wanted to control and a possession spirit will take control. So Michael then pointed at the raffle gate machine and soon enough it took control right away and opened the gate to the raffle. "Well, if it isn't Millionaire Davidson Johnson your spot at the raffle awaits! I'm not sure how I didn't recognize you at first, odd."

'Hmm, these vigor's might come in handy.' Michael thought to himself as he walked through the gate only to be greeted two other people.

(These two...)

"Heads?" The man asked.

"Or tails?" The woman asked.

"Umm... I'm sorry what?" Michael asked confused. The man then tossed the marine a sliver eagle to which he caught.

"Heads?" the man asked again.

"Or tails?" The woman asked again. Michael then looked at the coin and then thought about his answer.

"Uh... Heads I guess." Michael answered as he flipped the coin and it landed on the plate the lady had in her hands and the coin landed on heads.

"Told you." the man said as the woman chalked up another point for heads. "I never find that as satisfying as I imagined."

"Chin up, there is always next time." The woman said.

"I suppose there Is." The man replied as they walked away leaving Michael alone.

"Well those two were weird." Michael muttered. "I think I should try to avoid people like that."

"Telegram for you sir!" a young voice said and Michael looked down to see a short boy with a Telegram in his hands. "Telegram for you Mister Connors."

Boy then handed the Telegram to Michael and which he accepted it.

"Oh, umm... thank you." Michael said and the young boy gave him a salute and skipped away leaving Michael with his telegram. It then read "Michael Stop, do not go to the raffle stop, don't meet up with Booker DeWitt stop, do not try to intervene at the raffle stop, Lutece."

"Okay...how does somebody here know my name?" Michael asked himself a little bit freaked out that someone knew him. "Whatever, that's not gonna stop me from going to this raffle whatever it is, and also who is Booker DeWitt?"

Michael then continued his way to the raffle to see if he could find some answers to where he was. He then past by some children having a little pretend gun fight and Michael just thought they were being themselves. He then saw a sign about something about a false shepherd and his mark which were the letters 'AD' on the right hand. That confused Michael even more as he wondered who in the world would have the letters 'AD' on their right hand.

"That's just weird." Michael said to himself as he past the sign and soon the sound of singing could be heard. "Must be where the raffle is happening."

Michael then used the sound of all the people singing to figure out where the raffles location would be and that way he could find it rather simply. He then walked up a couple pairs of stairs passing by some people lining up to grab a baseball from a young girls carrying a basket probably for the raffle. He then walked up to a fountain where he saw a couple more sliver eagles on the rim of the fountain and he grabbed them when no one was looking and continued to the raffle and when he passed through a small gate way he found the raffle.

There was a large crowd of people near a big wooded stage with a large red curtain blocking the backstage. Michael then approached the crowd decided to play it cool and blend in with the crowd so no one would suspect him. He then saw the announcer wearing a long top hat, a black coat with a white shirt underneath, and black pants.

"Bring me the Bowl!" The announcer exclaimed and soon a young woman was bringing up a round bowl. "Is that not the prettiest young white girl in all of Columbia?!"

'Okay, you didn't need to say the skin color of the girl man.' Michael thought. 'She might be sensitive you never know.'

Even thought Michael grew up in a time period where blacks and whites were separate he had always felt that everyone deserves equal rights no matter what color of skin they have or what their religion is, freedom and equality is everyone's right.

"And the winner is number 77!" The announcer exclaimed and soon the crowd went wild with lots of cheers.

"Hey it him right he's the winner!" a girl shouted and Michael looked and saw another man with a baseball in his hand with the number 77 on it.

(I Pretty sure you all know who this is...My main Man, Booker DeWitt)

Michael was confused as to what exactly was the prize of the raffle was and he was sure that he was about to find out.

"Number 77 come and claim your prize!" Shouted the announcer soon the red curtain moved to the side and revealed a tied up white man and a black woman. "The first throw!"

The couple were struggling at the restraints to try and break free to get away but it wasn't working for them. Michael then gasped at the sight as he never thought he would see something like it in his life and it reminded him about how many white folks treated African Americans back in the states and when that happened Michael would intervene and stop the acts as hardly nobody else would. And now seeing this couple enraged the young marine to the point that he would beat up the winner if he threw it at the couple so he moved in closer to the winner.

"Come on aren't you gonna throw it or are you taking your coffee black these days? Hahaha!" The announcer laughed.

But as he got closer he saw that the guy had a disgusted look on his face and looked directly at the announcer and preparing to throw the ball at him.

"Oh, I got something for you, you son of a b**ch." the man muttered. But before he could throw the ball he was suddenly grabbed by a couple of police officers.

"Hey, its him!" One of them shouted and showed the others the 'AD' mark on his right hand. Michael then understood that he was claimed to be the false shepherd that he saw on a board a little while ago. But Michael believed that he wasn't a bad person if they just get to know the man but it didn't look like the police officers wanted to make conversation with the unknown person.

"Well, now where did you get that brand boy?" The announcer asked sharply. "Don't you know that makes you the back stabbing, snake in the grass false shepherd?"

"THE FALSE SHEPHERD!" A guy in the crowd shouted.

"And we ain't let no false shepherd into our flock!" The announcer exclaimed. "SHOW'EM WHAT WE GOT PLANNED BOYS!"

Then the officer on the mans left pulled out a strange looking contraption in his left hand and started spinning at high speed to possibly cut the man into two.

(This is a Skyhook... Michael will get one also!)

Michael was then in a panic of what to do, should he save this man that he didn't even know or let it play out. But then the young marine watched as the man threw the ball into the air distracted the officer to his right and when that happened the man grabbed the back of the officer and pushed his face to the spinning contraption which then sawed through the officers face with blood splattering everywhere and killed the officer living the contraption in his skill as he fell to the ground and that made the whole crowd run. Soon the man grabbed the contraption and smacked the other officer who was now trying to attack him with a wooden baton.

However the officer took the hot pretty well and smack the guy hard in the face making him a little dazed knocking him to the ground and the officer then charged at him with the ambition of killing the man but before he could raise his baton to strike a gunshot was fired and a 9mm bullet went right through the officers skull and he fell down to the ground dead. The unknown man then looked to Michael with his C96 in hand still smoking from the shot and breathing heavily. It was then that the marine run up to the man and offered his hand to him which he accepted it.

"Needed a little help?" Michael asked as he pulled the man back to his feet.

"Yeah... thanks...um." The man said.

"Oh...It's Michael... Private Michael Connors, US Marine corps." Michael said offering a handshake. "And you are?"

"Booker DeWitt." Booker said as he shook Michaels hand. "But just call me Booker."

"Hey its the false shepherds!" A voice yelled and the two turned to see more cops coming there way.

"It seems we will have to wait to know each other better." Michael said aiming his C96 at the approaching officers.

"I guess so." Booker added as he spun up his skyhook ready to take on the officers.
