Day 9,  Chat shows up and sees a note from Marinette.

     Dear Chat,

    Sorry, I have missed you. I am out at the Marche.  It is time for me to do a bit of shopping.

      I am not sure how long I will be out. Hope to see you when I return. If not, then I will know you must have gotten tired of waiting and gone on home.

     Sincerely,

   Marinette

Chat finishes reading the note and frowns.

"  Awe, too bad I did not get here sooner. Shopping might have been fun."

   Chat leaves to see if he can spot her out among the crowd.  He smiles when he gets a glimpse of her hat.  It is a good thing too, or I might not have caught up to her.

     "Hi, ya, Purincess!"

  "Hi, Chat!"

"Chat, how did you find me?"

  "I read the note. I thought it might be fun to help you shop."

   "Okay, then hold the list and read it out loud to me."

    "Sure thing, Princess!"

     Alya sees Chat and Marinette shopping together. She walks past them without a word. She is still rather upset with them for denying the feelings she knows they have for each other.

    Marinette smiles as Chat reads the list. She adds the shredded coconut, the graham crackers, the chocolate chips, nuts, peanut butter, jam, bread, milk, cheese, and the rest of the items to her outdoor cart.  She pays for them and moves on.

   At the next stand, she buys more thread and fabric.

"Shopping all done now, princess?"

 "Yes, Chat, all done."

    Marinette heads home with Chat beside her. She puts away the food.

     Now she stands in her room with the other purchases which she stores in her sewing box.

         "It was a fun day today!"

       "Got to go, see you tomorrow!"

         "See you tomorrow, Chat!"

      Chat heads out with Marinette smiling at him as he goes. 

         Marinette sighs, glad Chat did not hear it.
