Finally the first year was up and I was thrilled to be going home.

"Cass this way!" Remus yelled from the hallway.

"Is Alice inside?"

"Yep, let's go." Remus said dragging me behind him.

We made it to the compartment and Alice was sitting beside Peter and James, which meant I'd have to sit with Sirius and Remus.

"Traitor." I mouthed as I set down.

I plopped down in my seat and saw a big grin on Sirius' face.

"Hi wi-"

"Call me wifey and I throw you out the window." I said cutting him off with a playful grin.

"Okay." Sirius said with a nod of his head.

I rolled my eyes and listened to the boys talk about their plans for summer break, all while thinking about how James had reacted after I had calmed down with my fight with Severus.

"I'll kill him!" James yelled as the boys held him back.

"James, he isn't worth it!" Peter exclaimed as he and Remus held him back.

"Kill the bastard." Sirius said calmly.

"Sirius!" I yelled as he shrugged his shoulders.

"What? He would deserve it!"

"Not helping!" Remus yelled angrily.

"Not trying to."

Of course after threatening to write dad, he calmed down, though Severus did end up getting his hair turned Yellow.

"What is your plan's, Sirius?" I asked looking over at him.

"Stay in my room and pretend I don't exist, normal stuff." He said shrugging his shoulders.

"Why not come stay with us? Mum and dad would love for you to come over." I said with a small smile.

"Cass, if I didn't know any better-"

"I take my offer back."

"No! I'll be good!"

I rolled my eyes and saw a giant grin on James' face. Before he could say anything a knock stopped him.

"Cass, can we talk?" Lily asked from outside.

"I'll be back." I said standing up and walking out of the compartment.

"What's up?"

"I get you can't forgive Severus... but can we... be friends again? I miss you." She said sadly.

"I miss you too." I said sadly.

She pulled me into a hug and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Finally!" Alice exclaimed climbing out of the compartment and hugging us both.

We all laughed and then went back inside. I plopped down beside Remus and laid my head on his shoulder, earning a wink from Alice.

"Shut up." I mouthed glaring daggers at her.

The train would soon stop with a quick hiss and after a couple minutes we were all off. I looked around for my parents and saw them talking.

"Mum!" James yelled waving to her.

Her face light up and she pulled him into a hug. Though when she saw me she let out a huff and turned away from me. I looked over at dad and he just shook his head.

"Let's go home." She said sternly.

"Mum-"

"Come now." She said cutting James off.

James turned to look back at me and I rolled my eyes and pushed past him. Mum had brought two cars, one for her and my brother, and the second car was for dad and me, which honestly broke my heart.

I set in the passenger seat and stared out the window.

"How was Hogwarts?" Dad asked as he started to drive.

"Horrible." I thought as I ignored him.

Dad let out a sigh and continued to drive.

"Kiddo, your mum loves you but-"

"I know she hadn't expected to have kids and James was the first born. So she is protective of him. I'd think since I was born the same day she would treat me the same." I mumbled angrily.

When we made it home I pulled Silky and my bags out and carried them inside. Min went to greet me but I ignored her and rushed to my room.

"Leave her be, she isn't worth it." Mum said making tears stream down my face.

I heard a knock on my door and set up and watched as James walk into the room.

"You okay?" He asked softly.

"Why can't she love me, like she loves you."

"Cass..."

He pulled me into a hug as I cried into his chest.

"I just want mum to love me too." I whimpered out.
