December 7th came and I was woken up by a sharp pain. I let out a groan and shot up, instantly Sirius woke up beside me and fell off the bed.

"Sorry, I didn't meant to-" I was cut off by another sharp pain.

I took in a deep breath and held it, when it went away I let out a sigh of relief.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't- oh Merlin the baby is coming." I whined as I closed my eyes.

"Now?"

"Yes now!" I yelled as another wave hit me.

"I HAVE TO GET THE GO BAG! REMUS! IT'S GO TIME!" Sirius yelled waking up our roommate, Remus had moved in to help with the baby.

"Calm down! You're going to stress her out!" Remus snapped as he walked into the room, where Sirius was running around.

Remus helped me out of bed and into some pants.

"I have the bag already in the car, now let's go meet Little Cass." Remus said as Sirius rushed to the car.

He held the passenger door open for me, and as I went to get in a sharp pain hit me. Remus held onto me tightly as I let out a groan.

"How far a long are they?" Sirius asked in shock.

"Three minutes apart, let's go." Remus said sternly.

I climbed into the car and Remus rushed to the driver side. I held my stomach and held back a cry as another sharp punch to the gut hit me. Sirius grabbed my hand and I tightly squeezed it.

"We are almost there baby." Sirius said as he kissed my knuckles.

When we arrived, both Lily and James were in the waiting room. They had got us a room and my doctor on the way. They set me down on a bed and held my legs up. Both Sirius and Remus were beside me when the doctor came in.

"Alright let's have this-"

"GET THIS FUCKING KID OUT OF ME!" I screamed cutting off my doctor.

He looked over at Sirius who nodded his head.

"My hand is probably broken, please... hurry." Sirius said as he held his breath.

Sirius held my hand the whole time I was giving birth, Remus kept a cold rag on my forehead while I screamed in pain.

"We are almost finished." The doctor said with a smile.

"We better be!" I yelled out.

My head fell back and I felt tears stream down my face. Finally after what felt like hours, Remus later told me it was six hours, I heard my daughter's first cry.

Tears streamed down my face as I slumped back on the bed and let out a breath of air.

"Congratulations, you have a healthy baby girl." The doctor said handing her over to a nurse.

The nurse cleaned her off and wrapped a blanket around her. She walked back over to us and my arms instantly reached for my daughter. Almost instantly as soon as she was in my eyes, I became a mess. I couldn't help but to smile down at her as tears streamed down my face.

"She is beautiful." The nurse said as she sent me a smile.

"What will you name her?" The doctor asked as I rocked her back and forth.

Sirius set down on the bed beside me and I looked up at him to see a giant smile on his face. His eyes hadn't left our daughter's face, who was staring up at us. He sent me a smile as I stared down at my daughter.

"Ebony... Ebony Remy Potter." I said softly.

"Remy?" Remus asked in shock.

"After her loving godfather." I said with a bright smile.

"A beautiful name for a beautiful baby girl." Remus said softly.

"Do you want to go and introduce her to everyone?" I asked looking over at Sirius, who hadn't taken his eyes off of her.

He nodded his head and took her from me. Almost instantly tears streamed down his face as she reached for him. He pressed her against his chest and kept a tight grip on her. It was as if he was scared that she would break. I watched as Sirius carried Ebony out of the room, leaving me alone with Remus.

"Make sure he doesn't drop her." I mumbled as my eyes fluttered open and closed.

"On it, get some sleep." Remus said kissing the top of my head.

I laid back on my bed and closed my eyes, I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep.
