I was walking home with a bag of clothes and a few toys, when I felt an arm reach or from the shadows and grab a hold of me. Almost instantly I was dragged into an alley way and gently pressed against a wall. Between me, the wall, and freedom stood a very pissed off Severus Snape.

"Is it true?" Severus asked angrily.

"Is what true?" I asked as I stared up at him.

"Are you pregnant with my child?" He hissed out.

I had never seen Severus so angry, and it scared me. It scared me because I knew that he was a Death Eater and he had no reason to care if I was alive or dead, seeing as I knew and could very well tell his secret to the world.

I felt my body shake as I stared up at him, my stomach was rumbling and I knew that I needed to calm down.

"Who told you?" I asked biting my lip.

"An inside source. Is it mine?" Severus asked looking down at my stomach.

I closed my eyes and let out a sigh. When I opened them again I could barely read Severus' emotions.

I knew I could have lied, but it isn't in me to lie about a thing like this. In my eyes, Severus has every right to know about his child, even if I don't ever plan to allow him to see her.

"Yes she is yours, and no you can't be in her life." I said softly.

"The baby is a girl?"

"Yes."

He let go of me and took a step back. He closed his eyes and let out a sigh. It was as if hearing the gender had calmed him down. He opened his eyes again and stared down at me.

For a moment I saw my Severus, the one that I was ready to marry and start a life with. But I knew he was long gone, dragged away my the Dark Lord and his promises.

"Cass, the child needs both parents-"

"Yes and she needs them to be agreed upon in the way she will be raised! Severus, you're a death eater! My brother married a Muggle born witch. How could this work?"

"Cass, you know I only joined them-"

"No, I won't hear your reasons and I won't hear your excuse. You had a choice and you chose wrong." I snapped cutting him off.

How dare he try to make me feel sorry for him. He had a choice and in the end he chose a group of murderers and cowards.

"The child needs a father!" He snapped as he glared down at me.

"She already has a father, Sirius has stepped up and he is half the man you ever will be." I said angrily.

His eyes went wide and he took a step back.

"You would allow that idiot-"

"He isn't an idiot, now go or else I'll have no other choice but to scream. Sirius isn't to far away." I said cutting him off.

I know in the past I had issues with Sirius, but I was thankful that he was in my life and helping me with my daughter. Sirius has grown up a lot after leaving Hogwarts, both him and James had really changed and I wouldn't allow Severus to insult either of them.

"Fine. I shall stay out of her life.

He walked away and left me alone. I instantly felt like I could breath again, I fell backwards against the wall and closed my eyes.

The whole time I had been talking to Severus, my little girl had used me as a punching bag, something that surprised me. She never kicked for Sirius, let alone me. But it was as if the moment she heard Severus' voice she came to life.

"My sweet girl, I'm so sorry." I whispered as I rubbed my baby bump.

After awhile I heard Sirius call my name and I was forced to leave the alleyway. I followed his voice and saw him next to the car. Upon seeing me, he rushed up and took the bags from my arms.

"Are you okay?" He asked as he set them in the car.

"Yea, just tired." I said as i rubbed my stomach.

"I told you I could get the bags. Come on let's get home." Sirius said kissing my forehead.
