"Does age matter?" James asked as we all set at the Restaurant.

"Depends. Why do you ask?" I asked with a frown.

"I'm just checking to see if I can get something off the kids menu." James explained.

Lily sent him a look and he nodded his head and went back to the menu.

"You can still run." I said looking over at her.

"It's to late, I already said yes and sent the invitations out." She said with a sigh.

"We could run away together, no one has to know."

She let out a laugh as James shot me a look.

"I'll separate you two." He said sternly.

"No you won't." We said as we crossed our arms over our chests.

"Sorry I'm late." Sirius said as he walked up to us.

"Padfoot, they are tag teaming me again." James whined as Sirius set down beside me.

"Your own fault for inviting them both." Sirius said shrugging his shoulder.

"Again, he is marrying me." Lily said sternly.

"Sure he is, Lily." Sirius said with a frown.

I rolled my eyes and waited for the waiter to arrive. He took our order and then we waited for the food.

"So Sirius, what have you been up to?" I asked as I looked over at him.

"Not much, what about you?" He asked calmly.

"Oh I have a job lined up for me as an Auror." I explained.

"Pencil pusher?" He asked playfully.

I kicked his foot and he let out a laugh.

"I'm joking, you'll be amazing." Sirius said as he sent me a smile.

"So when is the wedding?" I asked as I looked over at James.

"Next year, maybe October." Lily explained.

"I can't wait, you will look beautiful." I said as I sent her a smile.

Our food arrived and we ate and talked together. After awhile I wasn't surprised both the boys got wasted.

"I'll drive Sirius home, you get James home." I said shaking my head.

"Be safe." She said as I led Sirius to my car.

"You're so beautiful." Sirius mumbled as he stared at me from the passenger seat.

"You're drunk." I said as I started the car up.

"And? I can't say you're beautiful?" He asked with a pout.

"No, not when your drunk." I grumbled as I started down the road.

He let out a laugh and set his seat back and then set it back up. I couldn't help it but I started to laugh at his crazy antics.

"There it is!" He exclaimed clapping his hands.

"There is what?" I asked turned to look at him.

"The laugh I love so much."

I rolled my eyes and flipped my brights on. Sirius let out a hum and leaned over the gear and stared at my face.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" I asked with a frown.

He shook his head no and then leaned back in his chair.

"I love you." He said calmly.

"I love you too." I said without thinking.

My eyes went wide and I nearly went through a red light. I saw Sirius watching me and I cleared my throat.

"As a friend, of course." I said quickly.

"I don't love you as a friend. I miss you." He said as he stared at me.

"You're drunk, you don't know what you're saying." I said as the light changed.

"Yes I do. I love you Cassandra Potter, always have and always will. And I promise you, I'm gonna marry you one day. You're gonna be in a beautiful white, maybe red, dress. You'll have your hair down, curled. Barely any makeup on, so you don't hide your beauty. Damn, I can't wait to marry you."

I looked over at him and saw that he was intensively staring at me. I quickly turned to look forward and bite my lip, shocked that he had confessed that to me.

I had thought after what happened he had moved on. There had been rumors around school that he had started dating another girl not long after we ended things. But to hear him say that he still loved me was shocking, mostly because I know that Sirius is a honest drunk.

When we arrived at his house, I helped him inside. We made it to his room and he plopped down on the bed with a frown.

"Where is your pjs?"

"I sleep in boxers." He mumbled as he struggled to take his shirt off.

"Let me help you."

I helped him remove his shirt and then I got to work on his pants.

"Buy me a drink first, pretty lady." He mumbled as he swatted my hands.

"Sirius, I'm trying to help you change. You don't want to sleep in jeans."

"Fine."

I shook my head and was finally able to get his pants off. He threw himself back on the bed and I let out a sigh. I moved to leave the room but was stopped.

"Don't go." He mumbled as he grabbed my hand.

"Sirius, I can't stay." I said softly.

"Why?"

"Because I still love you. Because being around you hurts. Even when I was with Severus, all I thought about was you. All I wanted was you but you didn't come for me, you didn't chase after me. You just... walked away." I said as I turned around.

After awhile I finally turned back around to look at him, but saw that he had fallen fast a sleep. I shook my head and covered him up. After leaving some medicine and a water bottle I plopped down on his couch and fell asleep, seeing no reason to drive home this late at night.
