After my bath I was led to a spare room, where James had made the bed for me. Lily must have told him what happened, because he didn't say a word to me. He only helped me in bed and covered me up.

"I'm just down the hall if you need me." He said as he squeezed my hand.

I nodded my head and rolled over. When I heard the door shut I felt tears stream down my face. The next morning I felt a little better but I was exhausted from crying all night.

"So Severus is a death eater. I can't say I'm not surprised."

"How is Cass? Have you talked to her any?" Another voice asked softly.

"Not really, she told Lily what happened and then she stopped talking. She's a wreck, Padfoot. I have no idea what to do, she barely slept last night. She was up crying all night." James said as he put his head in his hands.

"Give her space and we can talk to her when she is ready. She doesn't need to hear I told you or, I'm not surprised. She needs friends."

"Cass, you're awake." A voice said making me jump.

I turned around and saw Lily behind me, a small smile on her face.

"Hi." I mumbled as she walked up to me.

"I have breakfast on, if you think you can eat."

"I could eat." I said with a small nod of my head.

I was finally able to get a good look at their house. It was small but extremely nice. It was a two story room with about three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Down stairs there was a small living room, only a couch and tv. There was a kitchen that was a tad bit bigger than the living room with a set of tables and chairs.

"Your house is beautiful." I said as I plopped down at the table.

"Thank you, so how have you been?" Lily asked as she stored the gravy.

"I had been good." I said with a sigh.

"Right, I'm sorry." She said as she turned to look at me.

"How have you guys been?" I asked looking up at her.

"Good, we are actually engaged." She explained with a smile.

"Seriously?"

"Did you not get our owl? James invited you to the wedding." Lily explained.

My eyes went wide as I remembered throwing the letter away. I quickly looked away and she nodded her head.

"I see, you didn't open it."

"I'm always expecting bad news when I get a letter from him... that or him boasting about his life."

"James did use to do that a lot. But he has changed, he has a lot of sins that he has to make up for. He was actually wanting to start with you." Lily explained.

"We both have things we need to make up for." I explained.

"He was never the same after you moved out, I actually think he finally started to see how your mother treated you. That or he realized he missed you." Lily said sadly.

"I missed him too... all of them."

She nodded her head and I heard footsteps behind me.

"Lily, is Cass- oh morning." James said as he stopped walking.

"Morning." I said softly.

"How do you feel?" He asked biting his top lip.

"Better, I'm sorry that I just showed up-"

"Don't be sorry. I'm always here if you need a place to crash." He said as he set down across from me.

"Thank you."

"Cass, about-"

"It's okay, we both messed up. I blamed you for something that you had no control of. I flipped out and... I should have talked to you, but I didn't."

"I wouldn't have listened. All I cared about was myself and it didn't help that mum put us against each other. We both are in the wrong, and I never should have told mum about you and Severus moving in together. I should have been a better brother."

"I should have been a better sister." I said as he grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

"Also, I might have called Remus and Sirius. They are in the living room. I can have them leave if-"

"It's okay, I owe them an apology... especially Sirius. I said a lot of cruel things about him." I said as I looked at my hands.

"He did the same thing. I mean he did try to kill Severus."

"Yea that took a lot of begging from me to not have him tell everyone about Remus' issue."

"And we thank you for that." He said with a smile.

"How is Remus?"

"He is good, still single. Sirius is single too."

I kicked his leg and he let out a laugh.

"Can't blame me for trying." He said with a laugh.

"You're horrible."

We both laughed and I shook my head.

"We heard laughing, everything okay?" A voice asked at the door.

We both looked behind James and saw Sirius and Remus at the door.

"Yea, mate. Was just catching up with Cass. You guys can come in, Lily has breakfast on."

"How do you feel?" Remus asked as he walked up to us.

"Better." I said softly.

"Want us to turn Severus in?" Sirius asked calmly.

"Um no, not yet at least. For the time being might just have the Order watch him." I said softly.

He nodded his head and I stared my tea.

"Where are you going to stay?" Remus asked softly.

"I don't know yet. Not to mention I have to get my stuff and then-"

"You can stay here for the time being. First thing tomorrow Lily can take you shopping, and we can go from there." James said cutting me off.

"Thank you."

He nodded his head and squeezed my hand.

"I'll contact the order and let them know to keep an eye on Severus." Remus said calmly.

"I'll stay here, just to make sure that Snape doesn't come looking for Cass. No other reason." Sirius said as I sent him a look.
