My sixth year came around the corner and I had already moved in with Severus, who was thrilled to not be living alone. Since I had moved out, I hadn't heard anything from my parents, let alone James.

"Cass, can we talk?" A voice asked behind me.

I turned around and was surprised to see Remus behind me.

"What can I do for you, Remus?" I asked as he walked up to me.

"I heard about what happen with you and Sirius. Look I'm sorry that happen, but he messed up and he really misses-"

"I have already moved on and I'm happy. I actually have moved in with my Sev." I said crossing my arms over my chest.

"Oh, I see."

I made my way to my table and set down, almost instantly I felt eyes on me and turned around to see the boys looking at me angrily. I shook my head and ate in quiet. After awhile Severus walked up to my table and crouched down.

"You doing okay?" He whispered into my ear.

"Yea, just tired." I whispered as he kissed the top of my forehead.

"Want to get out of here?" He asked with a small smile.

I nodded my head and as I stood up and walked past James and his friend, I saw a smirk appear on James' face. I rolled my eyes and continued to follow Severus out of the room.

The next day a howler arrived and surprise surprise it was from my mum.

"CASSANDRA POTTER! HOW DARE YOU MOVE IN WITH A SLYTHERIN! YOU HAVE BROUGHT SHAME TO OUR FAMILY! YOU ARE NEVER ALLOWED IN THIS-"

I roughly grabbed the note and tore it into pieces. I threw it into my drink and watched as it evaporated. I dusted my hands off and stood up and picked the glass up.

I heard laughing and turned to see James laughing. I quickly walked up to him and dumped the water on him.

"Burn in hell." I said as I turned and left the room.

I let out a sigh and walked out of the room. Severus quickly stood up and followed me out. I let out a sigh and shook my head.

"Are you okay?" Severus asked from behind me.

"I hate him. I wish I could strangle him with my bare hands! My parents have always loved him more than they loved me! Everything I do isn't good for them. I find happiness and they instantly see me as a traitor! I just want them to allow me to be happy! Don't I deserve to be happy?" I asked through tears.

Severus let out a sigh and pulled me into a hug. I sobbed into his chest and he let out a sigh.

"I'm sorry, I promise you everything will be okay." He whispered as he kissed my forehead.

For the rest of my sixth year, the boys spent it tormenting and bullying Severus. At one point Sirius led him to Remus, who had transformed. Thankfully James saved him and I swore Severus to secrecy.

"You can't tell on him. Remus can't help it." I said as I looked up at him.

"Fine, but only because I know it would hurt you." He mumbled under his breath.

"Thank you." I said as he hugged me.

He let out a sigh and kissed my forehead as I hugged him tightly.

"I'm so glad you are okay." I whispered into his chest.
