"I can't believe you kissed him." Alice said as I laid down on my bed, staring at the ceiling in shock.

"I can't either, I just saw him freaking out and... I kissed him." I said as I let out a groan.

"Was he good?" Alice asked playfully.

"Alice!" I exclaimed as I jumped up and looked over at her shocked.

She burst out laughing and covered her mouth.

"What! It was your first kiss, can't blame me for wondering." She said playfully.

I shook my head and laid back down, covering my face.

"He didn't react, he froze up and... I ran." I said biting my lip.

"You ran-"

"Shh!" A girl hissed out.

We both shot her a look and flipped her off, before Alice started to talk again.

"Sorry, you ran?" She whispered angrily.

"I told him because of James, we couldn't be together and then I ran back here to talk to you."

"Oh you poor idiotic child." She said shaking her head.

I rolled my eyes and with another shut up we went to bed, well not after Alice flipped the girl off again.

The next morning I walked out of my dorm and was surprised to see Sirius waiting for me. I was nervous to see him again. Last night I had put a lot on him and then I ran away, not giving him a chance to react or even come to terms with what I had said.

"We need to talk." He said sternly.

I nodded my head and he dragged me behind him. His grip on my hand was tight, but it wasn't hard enough to leave a mark.

When we finally stopped, I decided to be the first one to talk.

"Sirius-"

He quickly turned and without a word leaned down and captured my lips with his, making me freeze in place.

I could feel my heart beat faster as I closed my eyes. For the first time in a long time I actually felt like I was free and happy. After a couple seconds he pulled away from me. I came back to reality and tried to move away from him, but he stopped me.

"We can't-"

"I don't care what James says. I like you and I want to be with you. Even if we have to hide it from him." He said sadly.

I closed my eyes and let out a sigh.

"Okay, but he can't know about us. If he finds out-"

"I know." He said as he leaned down and kissed me.

I let out a sigh and deepened the kiss. After a couple minutes we pulled apart and he led me to the eating hall and we set at our tables. I had a giant smile on my face, which was noticeable by Alice.

"What's up?" She whispered as I toyed with my food.

"Don't scream.... but Sirius kissed me." I whispered happily.

"No."

"Yep. James doesn't know and we plan to keep the relationship a secret." I whispered as I sent her a smile.

Alice let out a squeal and we both laughed. After awhile a note landed in front of me and I picked it up and opened it to see that it was from Sirius.

Meet me outside library after lunch- SB

I folded the letter up and turned around nodding at Sirius, who was watching me. He sent me a wink and I rolled my eyes and turned around to talk to Alice again.

That would end up being the start of our secret relationship. We would sneak around at night and hide from the teachers.

Sirius laid down against a pillar with me in his lap. I interlaced our fingers and let out a sigh.

"I wish we didn't have to sneak around." I said as I laid my head on his shoulder.

"I know, but hopefully after awhile James won't be so strict and will actually allow us to be together." He said as he pulled my hand to his lips and kissed my knuckles.

"I know, but I wish he would hurry up." I said as I looked back at him.

"Give him time and then we can be together." He said softly.

I nodded my head and closed my eyes.

"I can't believe we have to return home tomorrow." I mumbled as I turned around and snuggled into his chest.

"I promise I'll write to you every night." He said as he kissed my forehead.

"You better or I'll drive to your house."

He let out a laugh and hugged me tighter.

"I'm holding you to that, love."

After awhile it was time for bed and Sirius snuck me to my dorm. With a goodnight kiss we separated and I snuck inside my dorm.

"How was your date?" Alice asked playfully.

"Fun, we just talked." I said as I laid down on my bed.

"You two are so cute."

I let out a sigh and closed my eyes.

"I can't wait until next year, maybe James will actually change his mind and let us date." I said as I rolled over to look at her.

"If he doesn't, I'll strangle him to death."

I let out a laugh and she sent me a wink. It wasn't long before I fell asleep and then the next morning it was summer break and we were forced home.
