My eyes widen as I saw Sirius painting. Beside me the boys were all staring in shock as well, all of us shocked that Sirius was able to paint.

"What in the hell?!" James yelled in shock.

"What's wrong?" Sirius asked turning to look at us.

"You can paint?" I asked in shock.

"Yes...."

"Since when?" Remus asked as he stared at the beautiful landscape.

"I don't know, five minutes ago." He said shrugging his shoulders.

"Five minutes ago! Have you never painted before?" Peter asked in shock.

"No..."

"There is no fucking way you can paint so easily! I can't even paint that good!" James yelled angrily.

The door open and we all turned to see Alice with a cup of water.

"Sirius, I told you not to touch my paint brushes!" She yelled making him drop the brush on the ground.

"You bastard!" James yelled as Sirius ran out of the room.

"Why am I not surprised." I said shaking my head.

When they returned Remus and I was sitting on the couch reading books, my head in his lap. Peter was throwing a ball into the air and dropping every time.

"I'm telling you larger animals are less vicious than smaller animals." James said calmly.

"Why?" Sirius asked with a frown.

"It's because they have less space to bottle up their rage."

"Okay one example." Sirius said angrily.

"Wasps." James said calmly.

"Spiders." Peter said cheerfully.

"Cass." Remus said without looking away from his book.

"I am not that short!" I exclaimed standing up.

"Course you're not, love." Remus said patting my head.

I let out a huff and walked out of the room grumbling insults.

"I get it now." Sirius said as soon as I left the room.

I was walking towards the library, when I bumped into someone and fell on the ground, dropping my books.

"Cass, I'm so sorry." Severus said as he crouched down and helped me pick up my books.

"It's fine, don't worry about it." I said softly.

He handed me my books and let out a sigh. I finally looked up at him and frowned as I saw that he had a black eye.

"What happen?" I asked as I touched his cheek.

"I fell."

"This isn't from a fall. Severus-"

"A Gryffindor prefect and his friends found me walking to my room and.... Jumped me." He explained.

"Come with me." I said as I roughly grabbed his hand.

I led him to the McGonagall's office and knocked on the door. Instantly it opened her eyes went wide.

"Hello professor. A prefect from Gryffindor jumped Severus." I explained.

"Come in." She said opening the door wider.

We walked inside and after being handed some ice I placed it over Severus' eye.

"Thank you, but you didn't have to help me." He mumbled.

"Severus just because I'm mad at you doesn't mean I won't help you." I said sternly.

He nodded his head and I kept pressure on his eye.

When she returned with the boys, they were all looking down in guilt and shame. Though when I saw one of the boys, I felt my heart drop.

"Frank? How could you help them beat up Severus?" I asked in shock.

"It just happened, I'm sorry." Frank said looking at the ground.

I shook my head and looked away from him.

"It's Severus you owe an apology to." I mumbled angrily.

The boys ended up getting detention for a month and then we were all sent to our rooms. When I made it to my room I threw myself onto my bed.

"Alice you won't believe what Frank did." I mumbled into my pillow.

"What did he do?"

"He and some other boys beat Severus up." I said angrily.

"You're joking." She said as I turned to look at her.

"I'm not." I said as I let out a sigh.

"I can't believe he could do that. Merlin and I had planned our wedding!" She exclaimed covering her face.

"It will be okay. Maybe he just made a mistake. Maybe those guys forced him to help." I said setting up.

"Maybe it was... what's the word?"

"Peer pressure?"

"Yea what if that's what happen?" She asked happily.

"I feel like we are trying to make excuses for your crush." I said softly.

"I know! But he's cute!" She exclaimed covering her face.

"Not as cute as my crush." I said playfully.

"Remus isn't that cute."

"Not Remus." I said biting my lip.

"What? Who?" Alice asked in shock.

"Not telling." I said crossing my legs together.

"Cass! I'm your best friend, by law you have to tell me." She said glaring at me.

"Well... let's just say we both know him. He's bout 5 ft tall." I said calmly.

"Come on! I need more details." She exclaimed.

"He's in our house."

"Cass!!!!" She whined covering her face.

She threw herself down on the bed and let out a groan, causing a laugh to leave my lips.

"And he already has our wedding planned." I said covering my face.

"No." She mumbled as she set up and looked at me in shock.

"Yes." I said as she looked away from me.

"Why?"

"I don't know... he just makes me happy and I really enjoy hanging out with him." I explained as my cheeks heated up.

"It's the hair isn't it."

I nodded my head and she let out a laugh and shook her head.

"James will kill you."

"It's not like I'm actually going to date him. I mean he doesn't like me. He just likes bugging James."

"Sure. But at your wedding I better be maid of honor." She said sending me a wink.

I let out a laugh and shook my head.
