Sirius ended up coming over during the end of the break, after a lot of begging to his mum.

"My brother!" James yelled as he held his hands out.

"Where is my wife?" Sirius asked pushing past him.

"Over my dead body." Dad said as he took a step in front of me.

"How old are you?" Sirius asked crossing his arms over his chest.

"Sirius!" I yelled in shock, making him laugh and scratch the back of his neck.

"Joking!" He exclaimed as I burst out laughing.

I heard footsteps and without one single look at me, my mother walked past me and up to Sirius.

"Sirius, it's so good to finally meet you. James speaks highly of you." Mum said as she sent him a giant smile.

"It is always a pleasure to meet my future mother-in-law." Sirius said taking her hand and kissing it.

"Sirius." James growled out.

Sirius let go of her hand and held his hands up.

"Joking, maybe. Who knows." Sirius said calmly.

"My daughter would be lucky to have someone as proper and kind as you." Mum said softly.

I looked at James and he looked at me, instantly we both burst out laughing holding our sides. Mum looked between us confused and Sirius rolled his eyes. After awhile James dragged him upstairs, away from me.

"Goodbye my love!" Sirius exclaimed as the door was slammed shut behind him.

"Cass, as long as I live, you are not allowed to date that boy." Dad said sternly.

"You don't have to tell me twice." I said as I nodded my head.

"I raised you right, I'm so proud of you." He said as he patted my back.

I left to study for next year and smiled when Silky returned with a letter.

Dear Cass my darling,

I heard from James that Sirius was staying with you for the rest of break. I wish you good luck.

My break has been boring, I miss Hogwarts and you. I heard from Frank that he plans to ask Alice out in their third, maybe fourth year.

Don't tell her though. Anyways I can't wait to see you again.

I shook my head and grabbed my paper and quill. I dipped it in the ink and quickly wrote back.

Mum is already head over heels for Sirius, she actually called him proper and kind.

Dad hates him and said that Sirius wasn't allowed to date me until he died.

Also I'm thrilled Frank likes Alice back, she has already planned their wedding, and ours.

Yea, she has it in her mind we will get married.

I waited for it to dry and then sent it by Silky to Remus. I let out a sigh and plopped down on my bed, staring up at the ceiling. I waited a couple seconds before I heard the door slam open.

"He is not your one true love!" James yelled holding the letter.

"I knew you were reading my mail! You bastard!" I yelled jumping up.

"In my defense it's easy! Silky comes straight to me." He said with a shrug.

"This is why me and Remus have been sending coded letters! Just you wait until he gets my actual letter I sent by dad's owl!"

"No." He said as his eyes went wide.

"Yes." I said happily.

James ran outside and yelled as he saw the owl already gone. He fell to his knees in the snow.

"So over dramatic." Sirius said with a sigh.

"Yep." I said as I handed Sirius a hot chocolate.

"Bet he stays there all night." Sirius said after a couple of seconds.

I sent him a look before sipping my coco.

"To much of a chicken. An hour tops." I said calmly.

"Bet." He said holding his hand out.

"Bet a date with me." I said shaking his hand.

"James you're sleeping outside!" Sirius yelled as we ran inside.

Sure enough an hour later, James was banging on the door. Mum had to let him in and drag him to the fire, shooting me a death glare.

"It was Sirius!" I yelled as she ignored me.
