Family Gathering

You were sitting on the bathroom counter, naked. Katakuri stood in front of you, adjusting his pants after an intense love making session. You looked back into the mirror, the makeup you had just finished before he decided now was a good time for sex was all kinds of messed up. Your hair wasn't in any better shape.

"Kata..." You whined. "I gotta redo all of this!"

He had lipstick smudges all over his mouth and neck. "Help me clean up while you're at it." He smirked. "Lipstick isn't my thing."

You giggled as he handed you some makeup remover and wipes, waiting for you to fix the mess you made of him.

"So how long are we going to be there?" You got to work, starting with his mouth and moving down his throat.

"A few days. It's going to be hectic just so you know. The older of us siblings tend to be considered favorites to the rest. They don't give us much of a break." He explained as you tilted his head up, getting a spot under his jaw you missed.

"So is that why you've been so frisky the past couple days? We won't get any alone time up at the mansion?"

After your first time with him, Katakuri had gotten much more willing to initiate anything intimate. It had only been a little less than a couple weeks and he couldn't seem to keep his hands off. He was definitely good at finding excuses for it and it was getting easier for you. Bringing it up wasn't such a struggle anymore.

"We'll be lucky if we get to sleep alone."

You finished up with him, face now free of lipstick. "Is there not enough rooms for everyone? I thought you said Linlin had a mansion."

"She does, and technically it is big enough for everyone to have their own room. Some of the kids are still young though, they like bunking with us when we visit."

"How young is young?"

"The youngest is 8 I believe."

You snorted. "Your mom needs to stop."

Katakuri took the makeup remover from you. "Are you going to redo all of it? And as far as I know, she has, thankfully."

You nodded and he gave you the same treatment, cleaning up your face so you could try again.

"Fair warning." He started again. "Only a few of my siblings have seen my scars and I don't plan on showing them to the others."

You sighed. "Expect you to wear the scarf 24/7, gotcha." He didn't wear it at home anymore, even when Cracker, Peros, or his triplet brothers came over. One of his sisters came by once and he wore the scarf around her, so you were starting to see the pattern. Didn't mean you liked the accessory though. You could never figure out why someone would make a big deal of a couple scars.

"I know you don't like it but I'd like to avoid drama with the family."

Your lips curled up into a smile, thinking about your own family drama. Your mom and dad both have been texting you every day to 'check in'. It was a sad attempt to get on Katakuri's good side and keep up the shared business but you went with it, answering their messages each day as nicely as you could.

"I think you're good." He examined your face, but eventually trailed his gaze down your body. "It's going to be a long few days...."

"Alright there tiger." You pushed him lightly. "I'll be ready again in a few minutes and then we can leave."

----

"Remind me why Cracker and Peros have to ride with us." You demanded as the two continued to bicker in the back seats, over candy of all things.

"We don't have enough space for everyone to bring their vehicles." He grumbled, feeling as burnt out as you with the two men.

"I'm just saying anything sour isn't good! Candy is supposed to be sweet Peros!" Cracker argued.

"There needs to be variety my dear brother!"

"Can you two not?" You snapped back. "It's been over an hour of this nonsense and I'd appreciate some quiet for a hot minute."

They shut up and stared at you. "You know the rest of the in-laws don't talk to us like that." Cracker pouted.

"They don't work with you either, I think I've earned the right." You sighed as they continued their conversation at a much more manageable volume.

Katakuri chuckled. "Keep that up and you'll have half the family fawning over you instead of them."

"If they're half as noisy as these two I'd rather not."

"Better keep a low profile then."

"She's no good at that." Cracker poked your sides, making you squirm and giggle.

"I am too!" You gasped and swatted at his hands.

"Nah, you're more of a say what comes to mind and think later kind of girl. That doesn't scream 'low profile'." He continued to prod at you, Katakuri glancing away from the road on occasion to watch you struggle.

"It's only a couple days- Cracker if you don't stop I'm kicking your ass as soon as we're there!" There were tears pricking at your eyes with how hard he had you laughing now.

He pulled away finally, giggling madly.

"It's only a couple days," you tried again. "I'm sure I can handle it."

"Good," Peros said, leaning forward to catch your eye. "Because we're here now."

Indeed you were. The car slowed to a stop at a set of impressive wrought iron gates. A guard came around to the driver side to greet your husband before opening the gates to let him through. The trail leading to the house wound through a thick patch of trees, going uphill steadily.

Once past the trees, there was a huge clearing with the mansion sitting at the top of the hill. The area surrounding the mansion was covered with a sprawling garden, and a neat, trim lawn. The building itself was huge, with what looked to be five floors that you could see.

"So your mom lives here by herself? That's a lot of space for one person."

"All the younger siblings live here too, along with a few of the adults as well so the house is never empty candy." Peros assured you.

"I don't think this counts as a house......" You trailed off as Katakuri parked the car among some others. You weren't the first ones here and you felt a little nervous about having to socialize with the entirety of the Charlotte clan.

Everyone piled out of the car and the guys grabbed the luggage. Katakuri wouldn't let you carry any of it so you followed them in empty handed. You felt out of place trailing behind them inside. There was the sounds of muffled conversation further in but they led you upstairs instead.

"Gotta get our shit put away first." Cracker said, noticing your lost expression. "We won't get another chance otherwise."

You nodded. A couple more flights of stairs and you were on the fourth floor. Peros went in the same direction as you and Katakuri but Cracker went down the opposite hall. Katakuri stopped at a door near the end of the hall. Peros went to the last one and that's when you noticed each door had a nameplate on it. You were stopped at Katakuri's of course. His was decorated with flowers and hearts around his name.

"So everyone has their own room?"

"Mhmm." He pushed the door open and you were greeted with the sight of a room very unlike the one at home. This looked like a throw back to the man's younger days. A king sized bed was centered in the room with a dresser to one side and a desk to the other. A couple posters depicting motorcycles decorated the walls along with a leather vest with CHARLOTTE written across the back. A couple weights were neatly stacked off to the side against a wall.

"So motorcycles?"

"I used to own a few, they were my hobby for a while." He placed the bags at the foot of the bed and stretched, probably stiff from the car ride.

"Why not anymore?"

"I grew up, work became more important, so I sold them and stuck with a car instead."

"You can't use growing up as an excuse. I'm sure plenty of old guys like you still ride bikes." You joked.

"Old huh?" Katakuri came up behind you and placed his hands on your hips. "I'm going to have to make you take that back when we get home." He growled and worked his hands down to the front of your thighs.

"We should go back down now-" Peros stood in the door way, sighing heavily. "Can't you two wait until later for that?"

"He started it." You peeled away from Katakuri, grinning.

"Don't throw me under the bus." He reached for your hand, holding it as you went downstairs to see the family.

----

The family was piled in a large living room but seating was still a challenge. People were still showing up and it was stressing you out each time someone came by to greet Katakuri. They either didn't notice your small frame by his or flat out ignored you. That was until he shoved you in front of each new sibling, introducing you before they could even get a word in.

Linlin sat in an armchair off to one side of the room, watching her children as Peros tried to talk business with her. Eventually the room got so packed that a few people were sitting on the floor, yourself included. Katakuri was sitting in a couch with a couple of his sisters on either side of him. You were at his feet, back against the furniture as he ran fingers through your hair for comfort. He knew you didn't care for being stuck in a room full of strangers.

Katakuri wanted you to sit in his lap originally but you insisted that you were more comfortable on the floor. In reality, it would've been embarrassing to sit in his lap in front of literally all his family.

Squeals and shrieks of delight filled the room as a group of kids ran in, stumbling over each other to reach Linlin and Peros. The man greeted them all sweetly and pulled handfuls of candy out of his coat pockets to give them.

"Does he keep candy on hand just for occasions like this?" You giggled as he continued to empty his pockets for the children.

"I'm pretty sure he does." The sister to his right said, Galette, you believed her name was.

"No wonder he's a hit with kids, he's buying their love."

The sister to the left, Custard laughed. "Not all the time. But every time he comes by he feels the need to bribe them at least once."

"Big brother Katakuri!" One of the kids noticed your partner and the rest joined them as the group attempted to pile onto his lap, half of them ending up in yours instead.

You couldn't stop the fits of giggles that hit you as they started obsessing over you.

"Who're you?"

"You're super pretty!"

"Can I marry you when I'm older?"

"Wait, wait! One at a time!" You laughed as they clung to you, Katakuri now forgotten.

They got comfy, taking up space in yours and Katakuri's laps as they quieted down.

"I'm (Y/n), Kata's wife."

The kids let out sounds of disappointment. "I can't believe big brother Katakuri beat us to you." One of the boys pouted.

"It's not fair!" Another added.

In a matter of minutes, they had gone from excited to see their brother, to harboring an unrealistic dislike towards him. The ones on his lap going as far as to glare at him as they moved to sit with their older sisters instead.

Oven and Daifuku walked into the living room, being a couple of the last siblings to show up. Oven leaned over the couch beside Katakuri, observing the mess of children crowding you.

"Someone's popular." He grunted.

"There's no way we're going to get to sleep alone tonight." Katakuri groaned, realizing there was no way he'd be able to escape the youngest siblings as long as you were around.
