Neil's mansion

Neela - Avni ... Avni. ( screaming her name )

Neil came out of Avni's room and saw that Neela was standing in the living room with tears in her eyes.

Neela - Neil how is Avni ? ( broken voice )

Neil - Calm down aunty, Avni is alright. Come with me.

He calmed down the hyper Neela and took her inside Avni's room. Neela broke down after seeing an unconscious Avni, Neil felt sad after seeing her broken state.

Neela - What happened to her ? Why she is unconscious ?

Neil - She is weak due to stress and lack of nutrition. The doctor have given her injection.

Neela sat beside Avni and caressed her forehead lovingly. Tears were rolling down from her eyes after seeing her daughter in this state.

Neela - Was she there ? ( looking at Neil with teary eyes )

Neil - Yes, your daughter Juhi is a part of that gang.

Neela was shocked would be an understatement. Her elder daughter was working for her biggest enemy. This was the worst phase she can suffer as a mother.

Neela - This is not the truth Neil. ( suppressing her tears ) My Juhi is working for Raghav ( not able to believe ). No no, this is not possible. You have misunderstood her, maybe she was forced to join his gang. ( looking at Neil with hopeful eyes ).

Neil sighed and lowered his gaze which was enough to shatter Neela's little bit of hope.

Neil - What if I say that your elder daughter held her younger sister at gunpoint ?

This was another shocker for Neela. This time Neela wasn't able to control her tears. She looked at Avni and cried while holding her hand.

Neela - Juhi tried to kill Avni. ( her lips were quivering )

Neil - Yes. ( sighed )

Neela - Those monsters have brainwashed my daughter. ( sniffing )

Neil - Now she have become a danger for Avni. I want to warn you in advance that if she will try to harm Avni then I won't hesitate to kill her. ( sternly ). I won't give a dam  about her relation with Avni, if she will try to harm Avni then she will face severe  consequences.

Neela was speechless, she wasn't able to interpret any word in front of Neil's honest confession.

Neela's POV

Why Neil is so much concerned regarding Avni ? I know, Avni saved his life but his care and concern towards Avni is something out of this world. He is ready to face the most dangerous mafia for Avni, he is ready to play with dangers for my daughter. Sometimes I feel as if he have feelings for Avni. Why do I feel that he loves her ? If he loves Avni then I won't let Avni be with him cos I want to keep her away from this mafia world. I don't want my daughter to suffer in her future. I want her to have a normal happy life away from this crime world. I may sound selfish but I have lost my everything, I don't want to loose my Avni. Never.

POV ends

Neela - I think now Avni should return back to her home. I will make sure that the security around her is strict.

Neil - You can't take her back infact you should leave the city for her safety.

Neela - What ? ( shocked ).

Neil - Yes, Avni's life is in danger and they can use you for trapping her in their clutches.

Neela - I won't leave her here. ( sternly ).

Neil - I am not asking you, I am telling you that I won't let you take Avni back. She will live here until and unless I finish Raghav's chapter.

Neela - Listen. ( pointing finger at him ). I am her mother and I don't need anyone's permission for... ( Neil's cuts her off ).

Neil - Exactly, you are her mother and you also want her safety. So, why the hell we are arguing over this matter ? You want her safe, I want her safe. So let me handle this matter in my way. ( sternly ).

Before Neela can continue with the argument, Neil's guard came inside the room.

Guard - Sir, I have send the bodies for postmortem and police isn't able to find any casualties there.

Neil - Any idea regarding Raghav and his close members ?

Guard - I think they all escaped. We will get further information by tomorrow evening.

Neil - You may leave now.

Guard left.

Neil - ( to Neela ) Now also you want to keep Avni with you. Please try and understand Avni is in danger and I don't want to take any risk this time.

Neela - You want me to leave this city ?

Neil - Yes, for sometime you have to shift somewhere else and my men will ensure your safety.

Neela - And what about Avni ?

Neil - She is safe with me, believe me I won't let anything happen to her.

Neela - Why are you so protective for Avni ?

Neil was rooted on his spot, his heart was pumping blood at higher pace, his words came to halt as he wasn't expecting this question from Neela.

I love her, I love her like a maniac. For her I can kill anyone even myself. She is my life, my peace. After so many years I am able to smile, I am able to live my life, she is the reason of my happiness, my tranquillity. My Avni, my Avi. For her happiness I can even sacrifice my love. For safeguarding her I can do anything.

This is what his heart screamed but his mind didn't gave him enough courage to confess his feelings for Avni to the lady standing infront of him.

He was trying to make some excuse but Avni acted his saviour as she stirred in her sleep diverting their attention towards her.

Neela and Neil sat on the either sides of the bed and Avni opened her orbs, she looked around and felt safe as she knew that she is back into the safest place. She saw Neela sitting beside her with teary eyes.

Avni's eyes welled up after seeing her mother after so many days.

Avni - Ma... ( mom ) ( broken voice ).

Neela - Bacha. ( smiling within tears ).

Avni tried to get up but wasn't having enough energy, Neil helped her that's when her gaze shifted to the person who have become an important part of her life, the person who rescued her from that hell. She want to talk to him, she wanted to say alot of things. She just kept on looking at him, she was lost in his hypnotising eyes which contain endless love for her but her trance was broken when she felt a hand on her shoulder, she looked at Neela who was sitting there and engulfed her in a bone crushing hug.

Avni buried her face in her mother's chest letting her tears flow freely, she wanted to cry her heart out in her mother's embrace as she was craving for her warmth ever since she was trapped in that hell. Neil left the room in order to give some time to the mother daughter duo.

Living room

Neil - ( to his men ) I guess he suffered a huge of loss after this blast.

Guard - Yes sir. Commodities like drugs were stored in this mansion. Precious stones, diamonds which are a product of illegal activities were also stored in this mansion. Infact, alot of cash was there. After the blast, Raghav have suffered a huge loss.

Neil - This is the downfall of Raghav. I won't leave him for what he did to Avni.
( in his mind ) I have already lost my family, now I can't afford to loose my Avi. I will snatch everything from that person who tried to laid his evil eyes on my girl.

Neil - Keep a check on him. He will try to plan traps for me now and I will trap him in his own games.

Guard - Yes sir.

Neela - Bacha.

She broke the hug and wiped Avni's tears. She planted a soft kiss on Avni's forehead.

Avni - Ma Juhi.... ( broken voice ) Did you .... did you .... sacrificed your elder daughter's life for protecting your younger daughter ? ( she asked with great difficulty ).

Neela was flabbergasted after listening her question, tears trailed down from her eyes.

Neela - Do you think, I will commit this sin ? ( broken voice ).

Avni wiped Neela's tears and held her hand.

Avni - Never, I know my mother would never do this cos she loves her both the daughters. I know you mom. I know you very well.

Neela - ( smiles within tears ) Raghav.... Raghav ... he ( chocked voice ) he ... he kidnapped Juhi. That day was the worst day of my life. In   morning he kidnapped you from our home. I tried my best to find you, I even sent 5 guards in Juhi's school for ensuring her safety. You were a baby at that time Avni and I was so scared that he will harm you. I finally managed to locate you and after rescuing you, I immediately rushed to Juhi's school as guards weren't picking up my phone. When I reached there I found them lying dead on the ground and I tried to find Juhi but I failed to do so. All these years I tried to find my daughter but I failed.. I failed Avni ( crying bitterly ) ...

Avni - What ... what ..  about that video Neela ma ?

Neela - Video ? Which video ? ( confused ).

Avni - Raghav showed Juhi a video in which you were choosing me over Juhi and this video is the reason why Juhi is against you.

Neela - He might have taken a video when I came for rescuing you and morphed it for brainwashing Juhi. My Juhi is converted into a horrible person cos of these animals, she have lost her innocence, her childhood. I lost her Avni, we both lost her. ( crying ).

Avni hugged Neela and patted her back for composing her.

Neela broke the hug and cupped Avni's face.

Neela - Avni, Neil want me to leave this city so that Raghav's team can't use me for trapping you and he wants you to stay with him ... ( concerned )

Avni - I trust him.

Neela was shocked.

Neela - Avni...

Avni - Ma he is the one who rescued me, he always tried to protect me, he never misbehaved with me, sometimes he forced his decisions on me but those were for my safety. The time I spent in that hell have made me realise the difference between Neil and other mafia. There everyone tried to torture me but Neil always made me feel comfortable. He is the safest person mom whom I can believe with closed eyes, his mansion is indeed a home for me. He is the only person beside you whom I can trust. He always protected your daughter. I broke his rules and landed myself into trouble but he played on his life for saving me. I trust him mom and I know whatever he is saying is for our benefit, this time I will obey him, I don't want to create more troubles for him. He is already doing alot for us. Please mom listen to him, he just want to protect us and whatever he is saying is for our safety, there needs to be a specific reason behind it.

Neela was shocked after listening Avni's words as she never expected this from her daughter but at the same time she agreed with Avni as Neil is helping them and he decided to follow her daughter's advise.

Unknown to them, there was a welled up pair of eyes who was watching the entire scenario from the door step and after listening his lady love's confession he wasn't able to control his tears. He left from there before Avni and Neela can see him.

Neil - Thanks for the trust Avi. I won't let you down. ( to himself )
