My POV

"Zach, my son?" My mom asked.

"Yes mom?" I replied.

"Are you ok with telling me, yellow and white about the people you were running away from?" Mom asked me.

I sighed.

"Ok, it all started one day, I was in an alley at a town called beach city." I told them.

Flashback

I was freezing, I thought that I was going to die when a tall lady with square hair and shades found me.

I started crawling back towards a wall in the alley shivering.

"Don't be scared, it's ok, I'm not going to hurt you, I want to help you." The lady told me.

I slowly and carefully crawled up to the lady, and she slowly bent down and picked me up and gently hugged me, somehow warming me up.

She took me to what looked like a giant mountain statue with a beach house under it.

We entered the beach house, she carefully set me down on the couch and got me a warm towel.

I thanked her for the warm towel.

A few minutes went by.

"If you don't mind me asking, why are you hiding your right hand?" She asked me.

"I've been hurt and made fun of in the past because of this weird shiny thing on the palm of my hand." I told her.

"Can you please show me?" She asked me.

I held my hand out to her, she gently took my hand and looked at it.

"what this here is a gem, it appears to be a red diamond gem, but you are human also, so you must be a gem hybrid." She told me.

"What's your name?" I asked her.

"My name is garnet, i'm the new leader of the crystal gems, we're a team that protects the earth and it's people." She told me.

End flashback

"Little light, did this 'garnet' or any other gems there hurt you?" Mom asked me.

"No mom, garnet, and two out of three other gems did not hurt me, one was a gem that called herself amythest, one was called pearl, and the last one looked like me, but had a pink gem where his belly button was supposed to be."

"Rose." Yellow said with a bit of anger.

"You're wrong yellow, he is not rose, he is called Steven, you know how I'm the descendant of red diamond, well Steven told me that he is the descendant of rose quartz, so he is a gem hybrid like me." I told all of them.

"Son, which gem hurt you?" Mom asked looking worried.

"Well, after I showed them my gem, garnet told them I'm child of red diamond, amythest, garnet, and Steven welcomed me with open arms, but pearl didn't, a few days later, pearl started hurting me, just because of who my mother was." I said tearing up a little.

"Momma blue, auntie yellow, grandma white, when and if we go to earth, please don't hurt Steven, garnet, and amythest, they never hurt me." I begged them.

"Don't worry red light, we won't hurt them." My grandma told me.

"Thank you." I replied.
