Zach's POV

Me and blue were hugging for awhile now, i unwrapped my arms around her, because I have to ask her something.

"Blue?" I asked.

"Yes Zach?" She answered.

" is there a bathroom on this ship?" I ask.

Blue gave me a confused look.

"What's a 'bathroom'?" She asked.

"It's a room where humans go to relieve themselves." I answered blushing a little bit.

"The wall to the right of you that has a panel beside it, that is the room that humans call a bathroom." She said.

"Thank you." I answer her and enter the bathroom.

After the door closes behind me, I go up to the sink, turn it on and splash water on my face.

After I dry off my face, I take off the glove on my right hand and look at the gem I've had since birth and noticed that it was glowing slightly.

"Oh no, what's going on with my gem?" I asked myself kinda loudly, panicking a bit.

I heard a knock on the door.

"Zach, are you alright in there?" I heard blue ask through the door.

I started to hyperventilate and fall into a corner and hug my legs.

Blue's POV

"Zach, are you alright in there?" I asked him through the door.

No response.

I then heard a noise in there, so I put my left ear up to the door and I heard what humans call 'hyperventilation'.

I got really worried about Zach, so I quickly opened the door and I saw Zach sitting in a corner hugging his legs and hyperventilating heavily.

I quickly went up to Zach, picked him up and hugged him.

"Zach, look at me please, what's wrong?" I asked him, I'm very worried.

He says nothing but hold out his right hand that is closed and slowly opens it, and I see a bright red gem.

Zach's POV

"This is what I was hyperventilating about blue, I was scared that if you saw my gem, that you'd hurt me, l-like they did." I told her as I was able to calm down a little thanks to her hugging me.

"Zach, I wouldn't ever hurt you, gem or not, honestly, I had a feeling when you summoned your katana out of the  air, that you were a gem/human hybrid." She told me.

Blue's POV

"Zach, how about we spend time together and get to know each other better?" I asked him.

"Sure blue, I think that's a good idea." He answered me.

Third person POV

Over the next few days, Zach and blue have bonded and gotten very close, Zach even bonded with blue pearl. One day Zach told blue something.

Zach's POV

"Hey blue, may i tell you something?" I asked her, feeling a little nervous.

"Sure Zach, what would you like to tell me?" She responds.

"Well blue, during the past couple days we've bonded, I have been getting a feeling in my heart and mind, a feeling I have never felt, the feeling of motherly love." I told her.

"Ok, and what does this feeling of motherly love have to do with the past couple days?" She asked me, looking a little bit confused.

"This feeling of motherly love, I've been feeling it when we talked to each other, hugged, messed around and acting silly, what I am trying to say is that I consider you like a mother to me." I told her.

She looked shocked.

Blue's POV

When Zach told me that he considered me like a mother to him, I was shocked, I quickly shook the shock off and engulfed Zach into a hug.

"Zach, I have been having the same feeling, I consider you like a son to me." I told him.

Zach looked at me and started crying tears of joy.

"That makes me feel so happy!" He told me.

"Me too Zach!" I told him.

Zach's POV

After me and blue stopped hugging, we were sitting next to eachother in the control room.

"Hey blue?" I looked at her and asked.

"Yes Zach?" She responds, looking at me.

"Is it ok if I call you momma blue?" I asked her.

"Of course, my little light." She answered.

I giggled and blushed a bit at the nickname she gave me.
