"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT JUST HAPPENED?!"

"I MEAN I DIDN'T MEAN TO DROP IT ON YOU!"

"THEN WHY WERE YOU CLOSE ENOUGH TO ME FOR IT TO FALL ON TOP OF ME?"

I woke up the next morning to loud yelling that echoed our dorm. Immediately rubbing the sleep out of my eyes and sitting up and looking around the dorm.
Brynn and Evan were screaming at one another in the middle of the room, Pandora asleep still, and Barty next to me watching the argument in front of us.

I looked at Barty with an eyebrow raised as he looked at the two arguing goblins in front of us with an amused smile. "What's going on?" I asked and he smiled at me "Why good morning, love. These two idiots are arguing over Evan dropping water on Brynns head to wake her up" Barty smirked and opened his arms, gesturing for me to cuddle and watch the show with him to which I obliged and cuddled into his side, watching the two argue.

"SEE EVEN BARTY SAID YOU MEANT TO DUMP WATER ON ME!" Brynn yelled "NO HE SAID I DROPPED WATER ON YOU NOT THAT I MEANT TO" Evan huffed back, waving his arms around as he yelled "WELL WHY WERE YOU OVER TOP OF ME WITH WATER THEN?" Brynn yelled back as Barty and I laughed, now eating licorice wands, he'd pulled out of his night table. "I WAS GOING TO WATER MY PLANT BY THE BED!" Evan yelled back once again "AT 6 IN THE MORNING? ITS NOT EVEN TIME FOR BREAKFAST YET!" Brynns voice grew even louder "WHAT CAN I SAY IM AN EARLY RISER" Evan rolled his eyes "NO YOU'RE NOT! YOU'RE NEVER UP THIS EARLY!" Brynn scoffed "WELL MAYBE I'M TRYING SOMETHING NEW"

As the argument went on Barty and I just watched in amusement until it was 7am and we had to get ready for breakfast. "You want to stop them or shall I?" I whispered to Barty who shrugged "It's your turn to take care of the children" He smiled down at me and I sighed, standing up.

"THATS BULL-" Brynn was in the middle of her sentence when I cut in "SHUT UP" I yelled and they both looked at me in shock, but stayed silent "It is time to get ready for breakfast. You both have been arguing for an hour and I am quite upset I didn't get extra sleep because you two have been in a screaming fight since 6am. Now both of you go get ready before I swear to Merlin I will-" I started but Barty came behind me, covering my mouth. "What your mother is trying to say is please shut up and get ready for breakfast before we put you both in time out" Barty smiled at them and then at me "NOW!" He yelled and they both scrambled to get ready.

"I had it covered" I crossed my arms as I looked up at him "Sure ya did. Now you go get ready too. I'll wake up Pandora" and with those words I was headed to the bathroom to change.

Soon enough everyone was ready and we were headed to the Great Hall for breakfast together. "Are you sure you can't sit with us today, Brynnie?" I asked and she smiled softly at me "I'm sorry bubs maybe at lunch. I don't think I can be around that git this early in the morning" Brynn gestured to Evan and I nodded as he gasped at her words "You love me whether you want to admit it or not" Evan said "No, no she doesn't" Pandora interrupted and we all turned to her "Sorry" she smiled sheepishly "Just know she doesn't love you right now" Pandora said and we all nodded slowly before splitting up and sitting down at our tables.

"So Potter what class do you have first?" Evan asked "Charms" I said and he smiled widely "Barty and I have that too!" He said and I nodded "What's after that?" Pandora asked and then before I knew it we were comparing schedules.

"It goes Charms, then defense against the dark arts, then lunch, then potions, then Runes and then Astronomy for today." I said and they nodded "Well three out of five isn't too bad" Barty said. I luckily had most classes with friends, I'll have to compare my schedule with Brynn and the marauders later.

"What about tomorrow?" Pandora asked "History of Magic, Herbology, transfiguration, care of magical creatures and a free period." I said and Pandora smiled "We have all of those classes together" she said and I smiled. Barty and Evan ended up only have Herbology and Transfiguration with us but I didn't care as long as I had one person and who better than my favorite Slytherin, Pandora.

After breakfast I quickly compared schedules with Brynn to find out we had Runes and Charms together today and History of Magic and Care of Magical creatures together tomorrow. It was nice knowing I had someone in runes with me but that still meant I was alone in astronomy unless the Gryffindors were with us and somehow one of the marauders were taking it.

As the day went on classes felt longer and longer. The only class I had so far with any of the marauders was defense against the dark arts with James, Sirius and Remus and then Potions with just Sirius and Peter, making me more worried about if I'll have astronomy with them. I kept forgetting to compare schedules so I guess it'll be a surprise.

It was now time for Runes, Brynn and I sitting next to each other immediately. "How was advanced Potions with the 6th years?" I asked Brynn "Great Lucius was in that class with me and we got paired to sit together by Slughorn!" She replied giddily and I chuckled at her reaction. "You're gonna be head over heels by the end of the year" I said, rolling my eyes. "Oh shut up!" She smacked my arm, jokingly "Hopefully you'll find some new crush by the end of the year. You need someone new to get over your love sucks mood" Brynn said and I shook my head "I doubt that will happen especially after we were both abused by those Lestrange boys and Bellatrix trying to give me Amortentia multiple times last year" I sighed and she patted my shoulder "I'm sure someone way more deserving and less crazy will come along soon" Brynn smiled, sympathetically and I nodded "Hope so but knowing this school everyone is crazy" I smiled and soon class was starting.

Runes was pretty boring and the whole class was spent passing notes back and forth between Brynn and me. That was until class was dismissed and I had to go to astronomy.

"Don't worry I'm sure you'll make friends with someone" Brynn patted my back as we arrived at the door to the astronomy tower. "I hope so" I bid her a goodbye as she headed off to her own class before walking up the multitudes of stairs and waiting at the top of the tower for class to start.

"Well if it isn't baby potter" I heard a voice from behind me, turning around to be faced with Sirius Black. "Why if it isn't grandpa Black" I smirked as the boy gasped dramatically "I am not that old" he huffed and I shook my head "No but if you don't stop calling me a baby you'll be called much worse than grandpa" I stuck my tongue out mocking him before we both laughed.

"It's good to see I have this class with someone I actually like" Sirius said, throwing his arm over my shoulders and I nodded in agreement "I know I was so scared I'd have nobody I knew in this class" I said "Yeah well now we have each other to look at the stars with" Sirius nudged me and I chuckled at the way he worded it "You make it sound so romantic" I rolled my eyes "That's because it is my darling Jennie. You see only the luckiest of girls get to spend an hour looking at the stars with the most handsome guy at school" he said and I chuckled "Oh shit Regulus is here?" I asked jokingly and Sirius smile fell "No, I am" he stated, crossing his arms "You think you're the most handsome guy at Hogwarts?" I asked with a chuckle "I don't think. I know I am." He pouted and I nudged him "sure you are" I said and walked away towards the crowd starting around the teacher.

"You know I'm the most handsome" He whispered in my ear as we all stood around the teacher who was discussing our curriculum for the year "Mhmm sure. Whatever you tell yourself at night, Black" I smirked and he huffed.

This year is already starting to seem interesting. Between having friends in all my classes so far, being able to bully Sirius and being able to tease Brynn with Lucius Malfoy this should be fun.

"Jenna!" I heard my name called from behind me as I walked to the Great Hall with Brynn for dinner. "Brynn!Wait up!" the voice yelled and I turned around to find Barty and Evan running towards us, before tackling both of us.

"You trolls!" Brynn shrieked as she smacked Evans arm and pushing him off her as she stood up, dusting off her outfit. "Hey who you calling a troll, Ogre!?" Evan fussed back "Oh no the kids are back at it again" Barty said as he looked down at me, laughing, before getting up and helping me up as well. "Stop fighting and tell us why you tackled us" I said grabbing Brynn and pulling her on the other side of me away from Evan.

"Oh yeah! So we heard Bellatrix and Rabastan talking and they were talking about how Rodulphus misses you and Rabastan misses Brynn and they're planning something" Evan said as he pointed between me and Brynn "Something?" I asked, crossing my arms with a raised brow "Yeah they stopped talking mid sentence I'm guessing cause they noticed our presence since Evan isn't very sneaky" Barty said, glaring at Evan slightly "Oh no" Brynn said, a worried look on her face "What if they try to kidnap us....again?" She looked up at me, the horror in her eyes as I pulled her close "Again?" Evan raised a brow "Long story" I said "I won't let that happen. We'll just have escorts around school. I'll tell James and Sirius and they'll make sure, okay?" I whispered as I rubbed her back and she nodded "I'll let Reggie know too" She whispered and I nodded "Now let's go eat and forget about this stupidity" I said and with that we all headed to the Great Hall, my arm around Brynn and the boys on either side of us in a protective stance.

Once in the Great Hall, Brynn and I headed over to the Gryffindor table where the marauders were sat. "Hey sis to what do we owe the pleasure?" James grinned at me as Brynn and I sat down "We need help" I said and his grinned faded "Anything" James said and the rest of the boys immediately shut up to listen at the serious looks on our faces "Rodulphus and Rabastan are planning something to get Brynn and me back. We don't know what but the boys overheard them planning with Bellatrix and we don't want a recap of what happened last year" I said and they all nodded "What do you want us to do?" Remus asked "Just escort us to classes and stuff just try to make sure we don't go missing for a week again" Brynn said and they nodded "We'll pick you up at 7 on the dot tomorrow to walk you to breakfast" James said and we nodded "Thanks" We gave the boys hugs before heading to the Slytherin table.

Brynn ended up sitting with us for dinner and talking to Regulus who also sat with us. All of us deciding to stay temporarily in the boys dorm for a little while so Barty and Evan were there as well as Pandora who could definitely kick ass if needed. I tried to be strong in order to make Brynn feel better when really I was shaking inside.

That night I fell asleep to a nightmare of the year before.

"Stop it Rabastan! I want to leave" Brynn screamed as she hit the boy next to her. Rabastan was gripping Brynns wrist while Rodulphus held mine "You girls act like it's so easy to break up with us. We never gave you permission to leave" Rabastan spat as he looked at his brother with an evil grin "You're ours remember" Rodulphus shared the same evil grin as he looked from us to his brother.

For the next week and a half we were stuck in the basement of the lestrange manor. The boys coming in with food and to try to talk to us normally for days until they realized we weren't giving in to getting back together. They eventually went back to their true ways of hitting us when we did something they didn't like, the main reason we broke up with them to begin with. That was until Sirius, Regulus, Remus, James, and Peter busted through the basement door and helped us back to Hogwarts, hexing the lestrange boys on their way out.

Brynn stayed in my dorm for months after that. I mean who kidnaps someone for breaking up with them?? Right before Spring break? The boys eventually got suspended or some shit until their influential parents got involved and they were allowed back at Hogwarts. Brynn and I avoiding them as much as possible and luckily succeeding, seeming to be no longer of interest to them until now.
