Epilogue
Several Years Later....
A train whistle echoed through Platform 9 and 3/4, and people raced around. Children bid farewell to their parents, parents fussed over their children and made sure nothing was left behind, and everyone was ecstatic.
Ginny Weasley-Potter, although sad to send her sons off to school, was thrilled. This was the first time all of her ships had been together in years! And, of course, all of her ships had sailed. Ginny didn't put her faith in anything that could sink.
Harry Potter was proud to watch his sons go, and enjoyed reuniting with his old friends. He just wished the press would stop following him around.
Draco Malfoy had mixed emotions as he stared at the Hogwarts train. Every year he had gone to that school had been miserable. Sure, he'd acted like he was happy, but he hadn't been. Not til his very last year, anyways. Draco's gaze turned towards his wife, who was dotting over their children, Scorpius and Riley. Draco may have hated most of his time at Hogwarts, but he wouldn't trade his memories there for anything.
Hogwarts had given him his family. It had given him love, and a peaceful life of happiness.
"Will you ever stop staring?" Hermione questioned, grinning at Draco. Yes, they had gotten married. Shortly after graduating from Hogwarts. Harry was still slightly confused, and Ginny just freaked out every time she saw the together, but other then that, no one had had an issue with their relationship.
Ron had a problem with it, of course, but he'd kept quiet after the Performance. Disappeared was the more accurate word. No one had seen the Weasley boy for years.
But Ron Weasley and his whereabouts were the last of Hermione's concerns these days. She was happily living with Draco, and they had two children. Riley was thirteen, and a proud Gryffindor, and Scorpius was about to enter his first year along with Harry's son Albus. The two were already best friends, and their parents could only hope they'd end up in the same house.
Little did they know that Albus would wind up in Slytherin, and Scorpius would become the fiercest member of Hufflepuff House.
Yes, Hermione and Draco had gotten the happily ever after they both deserved, as had Harry and Ginny, Neville and Luna, and everyone else. For them, all was well.
But as Ronald Bilius Weasley watched children climb onto the train...
He couldn't help but feel like his own Happily Ever After had been stolen away from him.
But he also knew, as Draco wrapped his arm around Hermione, that he'd never get it back.
Draco Malfoy had won Hermione Granger's heart for good.
