The next few days passed quickly, and before anyone knew it, the House Unity Project was due, and they were to start their performances in an hour.

The actual song and dance was to be in the Great Hall, which now had a giant stage and rows of chairs for guests and students to sit at during other performances.

But the students of Hogwarts weren't sitting in these chairs just yet. They couldn't just show up, sing and dance a jig. They had to look the part. So everyone was racing around various classrooms of the school, putting on costumes and makeup, fixing their hair, and desperately running to the Potions room for a drop of voice inhancing brew, if they qualified for it, that is.

Hermione was in the charms classroom, fixing her hair, as Ginny put on makeup beside her. The order of shows was in reverse alphabetical order by girl's last name, so Ginny and Blaise would be one of the first people on stage. And judging by Ginny's outfit, it was going to be one heck of a performance.

Ginny had on a suit-like outfit, with a shiny black top hat resting on her head, and black heels. Blaise supposedly had a full suit, matching hat, and they both had ornate black canes with diamond tops.

Hermione, on the other hand, was in a simple cream colored dress. She and Draco were trying to dress similar to the characters that sang the song they were performing.

"You really won't tell me what song you're doing?" Hermione pleaded. Ginny grinned wickedly.

"Nope! You have to find out at the very last minute, just like everybody else." She insisted.

"Well, you look like you're going to sing Frank Sinatra and do a kickline with Blaise"

"We have done that, but this will be better. You'll see."

"Fine, then I'm not telling you what song Draco and I are singing."

"WHAT! Noooo!! Just tell me if it's a love song, please!"

"Nope," Hermione teased, quoting her friend. " You have to find out at the last minute, just like everybody else."

Ginny groaned.

"DRACO YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS CRUEL!" She yelled out.

"No, she's perfect." Draco declared, coming up behind Hermione. He wrapped his arms around her and kisses her on the cheek. "You look stunning. " He whispered in her ear.

"Careful," Hermione warned. "We shouldn't give Ginny a seizure before she goes on stage."

"Oh, don't worry about me," Gimme pleaded. "Just keep doing who you're doing."

"Don't you mean, WHAT you're doing?" Harry asked, walking up.

"Nope. I know what I said." Ginny proclaimed.

"You're weird."

"And you're an idiot. But we love each other."

"Yep."

Maybe it was the anxiousness of the upcoming performance, or maybe it was just that the students of Hogwarts were so bursting with song that they needed another number before their actual performance.

"You ain't seen nothin' yet," The students sang together, finishing the last minute touches on their hair and makeup. "It's gonna be a night we'll never forget!"

" This will be just great," Hermione sang. "Oh, my life is gonna take flight Can't wait till Saturday night"

"Yeah - Eighty bucks for a tux? -" Blaise questioned.

" Damn, we better get laid" Draco called.

" You've been prayin' for that since the seventh grade" Hermione teased.

" It's the least we deserve after everything we've paid" Ginny declared.

" - Got the food" Harry announced

"Got the drinks" Draco answered.

"Got the limo for ten"

" And we won't get a chance like this again We'll be leaving as boys but we're coming home as men"

" This will be just great!" Everyone chimed in.
