Y/n's pov

I was asleep but get awoken by angry shouting.

I slowly get up.

The Overlord in a singsongy manner says "y/n! I have a surprise for you!" While coming in.

I mutter putting on the hat and jacket he gave me and hiding my tail in my brown leggings.

I got up a lot more energetic than earlier sense he said when I got up we would eat.

He told me to follow him and I did.

I say "Overlord I have a question?"

He says "well we can discuss whatever it is while you eat since you know I can't eat."

I look up to see a buffet.

I quickly run over and sit down happily eating sense they haven't fed me since the first day I got here and that was a very little amount.

Overlord says "now what's troubling you my little kitten?"

I ask "why did you give me a jacket, a hat and a pair of leggings and where did you get them?"

He says "well in case you want to cover up your... Editions and I weren't always alone even though I do have two other people besides you. You see I have two children and those were their mothers."

My eyes widen and I exclaim loudly "you had a wife?! And you have kids?!"

Then a hundred questions poured out of my mouth.

He yelled, "whoa whoa whoa one at a time one at a time!" While laughing.

I take a deep breath and start to ask my questions.

"Where is your wife and how come I haven't met her or your kids?"

He said "well the wife...has passed away her name was Mary and the kids have been watching you for a while they are about your age and are pretty curious about outsiders. Children! You can say hi now!"

Two teenagers come over one flying the other running.

I look them over one girl and one boy.

The girl was short and pale with brown hair that was wavy, green eyes and was wearing a short purple dress with high heels but the most shocking things about her were the purple scales scattered here and there, her ears which looked purple and pointed at the ends and the wings that she was flapping to stay aloft we're like the wings of a purple Dragon.

The boy was tall and pale but had purple hair, purple eyes and wore black boots, a black shirt, and black pants instead of wings he had a purple tail but other than those things he looked just like his sister.

The girl flew over to me talking a mile a minute about how cool it was that I was here and asking about the other island.

The boy just stood there with his arms crossed complaining that it was too crowded these days.

I started to laugh joyfully.

But the brother and sister obviously got the wrong idea.

The brother said, "look she's laughing at us I knew that she would hate us we''re leaving come on dez!"

But dez just flew in front of me and asked sadly "your not laughing at us right your just excited right?"

I said, "oh I'm sorry I'm just laughing because you're both so different and wonderful!"

Dez said, "so you like us?!" Getting excited again.

I say "yes I do like you! dez right?"

Dez did a twirl in the air saying "she likes us! See Dave I knew she would like us!"

She flew over to her brother flying around him spinning him around.

This made him dizzy and he starts to fall but I quickly get close enough to extend my wing catching him just enough for him to get his balance.

Dez said "oh wait we haven't done introductions yet! Hello, I'm Destiny but you can call me well call me Destiny and this is my brother David! What's your name?"

I said "wait but he called you dez?! I am so confused?!" While rubbing my temples.

David said, "Ya that's my nickname for her only dad and I are allowed to call her that."

Destiny whines "what about your name! what is it?"

I say "oh I'm sorry my name is y/n l/n! Sorry in all of this excitement I forgot to tell you."

David says in a bored tone "wow nothing gets past Mrs.obvious here."

I get a little annoyed but choose to ignore him.

Then Destiny picks me up and sets me down standing up.

I surprised the fall and my hat falls off.

Destiny gasps and says "oh wow pretty I didn't know normal humans had the same kind of ears as leopards!"

David comes over and says "hmph let's see what else your hiding!" And takes off my jacket revealing my wings and I tanks where my tail I yelp and take it out rubbing it.

Destiny gasps again and gets even more excited squealing "you have a tail and more importantly wings?! Do you relieve what this means?!"

I say "that I'm a freak?"

Destiny says "what do you mean a freak? Don't all humans have wings, tails, and ears?"

I yell "no and that's why I'm a freak!" And run to my cell crying.

Before I can get in Destiny blocks me picks me up by the arms and slowly but steadily brings me back and sets me down.

She cocks her head to one side and asks sadly "I thought you liked us?! Why did you run away?"

I quickly grab my hat and jacket and put them on.

I say "sorry I just hate the fact that I'm different." And start crying again.

Destiny wanting to make me happy quickly wraps me in a hug saying "don't cry this just means that we can be flying buddies!" And wraps a wing around me.

I said, "but I don't know how to fly."

She curiously says "but weren't you born with wings?"

I shake my head and say "no I just got them last night so I guess they're a recent development along with the leopard ears and tail."

Destiny said, "then how did you hear without ears?"

I say "I had ears just they didn't look like this and they didn't have really good hearing."

Destiny all of a sudden gasps and yells excitedly "best. Idea. Ever! David can teach you to have to use that tail and I can teach you how to fly and we both can teach you how to move your ears!"

I say "great!" And my wings jump open causing me to fall on top of David.

David says "oof! Looks like we have our work cut out for us!"

I yell "hey!"

He says"well you are laying on me!"
