A/n: I might go back and forth between writing styles (just letting you know)ohh p.s. Warning ⚠️ there some swear words in this chapter they'll have ** around the cuss words, you've been warned!

Chase POV
"Why,why.... who am i?, don't I love Skye?!?!" I thought to myself (then 9months ago hit me) , then i remembered(what happened) but,then My thoughts drifted to, Rocky's face and,and his Beautiful smile, this made me feel so warm on the inside, I felt myself blushing of the thought of me and him together.

"He's not gay! Or is he? And even if he was gay, he wouldn't want a pup like me!" I said aloud, "well maybe he'll want me" I said (with a smirk on my face while blushing ) then I looked up at the beautiful blue sky, and said aloud "Rocky I love you, I hope you love me back......(tears running down my face), "I've had feelings for you since you joined paw patrol, a little over 1 year now",....sighs, "I love you Rocky" I said as I was walking back to the lookout,(at least i thought I was)

"Geez" I said "how long have I been gone?" I said as I looked up at the darkning sky, "oh no", "where am I?"
I looked around, nothing looked familiar
Then I heard a familiar voice say:"well,well if it's not Chase, Rocky's crush" (I started to blush), the voice moved from the shadows and into the light. "Wait aren't you Rocky's dad?", "Randy?" I said

Flashback(Chase 9months younger)(9 months ago)(Chase POV)

Me and Rocky were playing pup tag(outside)
Rocky:"you really like running don't you?"
"Yes" I replied
(Then we heard just our pup tags go off w/ Ryder saying): "Rocky and Chase too the lookout"
We both looked at each other (and blushed) then as like nothing happened
We both say:"Ryder needs us!"
"I'll race you!" I said
Rocky:" Chase you're on"," hey no fair!!!"
I was almost to the lookout doors when I saw Rocky run right passed me
"Hey??!!, Rocky look out!!!!!" I said as the Eco pup hit the doors with such force I thought he was dead, I ran up to him and shook him, nothing but silence! I said "rocky don't die!!, I love you always have", ruff call Ryder! I said to my pup tag (with panic in my voice)
*ring*,*ring*,*ring* Ryder answed: "yes chase what do you need?"
"Ryder Rocky's dead!!" I said
Ryder: "what!?!?!"
"Come and see for yourself!" I replied(with tears running down my face)
(About 30 seconds later)
Ryder: "Woah.... Rocky are you ok? what happened??" He said ,Asking Me
"Ryder me and Rocky were racing towards the lookout to see who would be the first one here would be.....,but I cheated I ran off 5 secs before he started...., IT ALL MY FAULT!!" I yelled
"He got ahead of me and that's when he hit The Doors!" I vomited , "I killed my friend!" I yelled (I wanted to say love in place of friend), then(I passed out in my vomit)

I woke up to,
(Beep),(beep),(beep)..........:of the heart monitor, I looked around,
I was in Katie's medical Clinic, I was on oxygen, I have a Iv in my paw, I was in a hospital bed,(I thought to myself) then I heard Katie's voice
Katie: "well look at who decided to wake up"
"Hey how long was I asleep?" I asked
Katie: "11days"
"WHAT?!?!" I said making her jump
"Where's Rocky? Is he okay? Did he die?" I said (stumbling over my words)
Katie: Chase! Claim down Rocky's fine he's at the lookout worried sick about you.

"But didn't he break something?, wasn't he injured???" I asked (with concern in my voice)

Katie: "no.........he was perfectly fine it was like nothing happened at all", "but then there was you, chase you had a panic attack/mental breakdown, your heart was so weak, I thought you were a goner!", "it almost like you seeing rocky dead or you thought he was dead","caused your heart to break" ,"usually that only happens when you see your love dead like that" she sighed.

"Wait so your saying that I love Rocky?" I asked her
Katie:"well looking at everything, yeah I think you love Rocky, and I believe he loves you too"

"it's true,I do love him"I said "it's time I told him but I'll do it when the times right", "Katie you can't tell anyone we talked about this","trust me I'll tell everyone when I'm ready" I told her, *sighs* "I still need to fake my crush on Skye" (tears forming in my eyes)

"Why?!","if you like Rocky? Why would you do that?" She asked(glaring at me)

"I will tell him everything eventually"," the last thing I want to do is break his heart" I told Katie

(She nodded) and said "well I hope you tell him soon." She said(w/ a worrying tone)
"should I call everyone?","tell them you're up?"

"No not yet, just call Rocky down" I told her

"Ok" she said and (then walked out of the room)

*15 minutes later*

I saw Rocky come into the room (he ran up to me) and said "Chase are you wake?"
I replied: "Yes, now that you're here with me"
Rocky: "Chase I'm fine,......" I cut him off
"Rocky, what happened?", "why did Ryder need us?"

Rocky:"Chase, you passed out, none of us know why!, you had me very worried when you wouldn't wake up"
(I blushed) when he said that⬆️

Rocky:"oh yeah about Ryder needing us, it was my dad Randy, I call him wicked Randy"," he used to abuse me when I was a pup","I hate him!,he's not my dad anymore"

(I could feel my insides reaching the boiling point)

" where is he now" I asked (very angrily)
Rocky: "he's staying in the motel 6 on Main Street"

And with that I ripped the iv out of my paw(which made it start to bleed) and then ripped the Oxygen mask off my muzzle

Rocky: "Chase what are you you doing??", "you need to rest!"

I ignored Rocky even though it was so hard, I wanted to kiss him because he was so cute for worrying about me, but I didn't

I ran out as I did so I heard Rocky and Katie yell:"Chase come back" but I didn't listen.

I was walking trying not to give away that I was bleeding
it worked
When I reached the motel 6
I went to the front desk and asked the Clerk "which room Randy was staying in?"
He said: "room 17 down the hall to the right" "thanks" I replied

I got to room 17 and the door opens it was Randy standing there he had the same grayish-blue fur coat as rocky had and looked the same as well, only older

He asked: "are you Chase?"
"Yeah" I said
"Good I need to ask you something" he stated
He let me in, and I sat on a chair facing him.
I was still angry with Randy but I calmed myself down a bit

Randy:"ok Chase, I'm Randy, Rocky's father"
"Why,why would you abuse Rocky!!"I asked him *with a pissed off face*

Randy: "because I owned him"

When he made that statement towards me I felt my anger again so fast I felt the blood running down paw, like a raging river.

"Chase I know you love Rocky, I want him back!, and you are the only person that can talk to him" he said

"I'm not talking to him for you" I snapped at him

"what do you want with him??, and why after all this time would you need him now??" I said (aggressively)

He snapped back:"that doesn't matter, he's my property!!!!"

"He's not your property!, he's mine!!!, and he'll never be yours ever again!!" I said (harshly)

I saw him pull a knife out of his pocket
(i growled) "put that away!" I said
He looked at me and said:"look I'll leave when you break my sons heart" he said *smirking*

(I shook my head) "I can't do that!!" I yelled at him
"You will do it, or I'll do it , and your love Rocky won't his happy ending" Randy stated *in a threatening matter*

Blood dripping from my paw, I sighed
"Fine, Randy, I'll talk with him for you"
"And???" He asked (Very condescending)
*tears forming at my eyes* "and,......and...and (stumbling over my words) I'll break his heart (putting my head in my paws crying)
At that point I didn't care that my face was covered in my blood

"Good, oh and if you don't do it............" he paused
"You'll do what" I asked(urgently)

"I'll be back Not for Rocky but for YOU!!"
He stated

It was at that point where i made the mental choice not to break Rocky's heart I'll be the one that will be taken..........

*end of chases flashback*

Chases POV continued.

He smiled and said:"yes, it's me"
"What do you want??" I asked (I growled w/ anger in my voice)

Randy:"I want You" (w/ sinister grin)

"Look Randy....." I started to state (before he cut me off)

"Chase!!,Look I know Rocky loves you a lot, so......you're are coming with me" he stated (like I was going w/ him)
"No","I'm not coming w/you Randy" I said

"Remember Chase", "I said if you didn't break Rocky's heart, I would be back for you" he said (as he pulled a gun out of his pocket) "and you didn't break his heart","so....." he stated

"look I don't want it to come down to this either you come with me peacefully, or I'll use this gun, and make you come forcefully","so Chase which will it be?" he says,(w/an evil grin on his stupid face)

"Peacefully" I said
"Good choice" he said "look I'm gonna have to knock you out"
"Why?" I said (right before he give me an injection of something)
*About 30 seconds later*
"Woa....I feel sleepy","...........I love you Rocky" I mumbled (as my vision became blurry) "I hope see you again,my love"I barley mumble (after that the world went black)

*Rewind Back in time about 30mins*⏲⏱

Marshall:"umm.......Rocky it's been about 1 hour and 30 minutes, so we only have about 30 minutes left of daylight.

Rocky: "ok.......when you saw him running into the woods did he have his pup tag on?" I asked Marshall

Marshall:"yeah, dude he had it on"

Rocky:ok,Marshall can you call Ryder?"

Marshall:"I'll try but I'm not sure if I'll get a Signal","ruff, call Ryder" Marshall said (to his pup tag) *ring*,*ring* "hello...,what you need Marshall?" asked Ryder
"Yes, Ryder can you track Chases pup tag??" Said Marshall
"Yeah I can...,but why?" Ryder asked
Marshall:"Chase ran off....,it's almost dark,we need to find him"

Ryder: "sure, Would you like me to track your tag as well so you can see where you are verses where Chase is or at least I can tell you"
Marshall: "sure", "thanks,Ryder"
Ryder: "no problem, oh..... before I forget, wait is Rocky there with you?"

Rocky: "yeah I'm here"
Ryder: "ok, great, Rocky you have my blessing. he said (while typing the pups tag info Into the tracking computer)
Rocky: "wait what?"
Ryder: "about you and Chase being together"
Rocky: "me and him haven't gotten together in fact I was just about to tell my feelings when he ran off after he was licking my face, oh wait where did you find out that I liked him?"
Ryder: "Skye told me, but she told me that Marshall had told her about the you liking Chase"

(Rocky POV)
I felt so angry......w/ Marshall, why would he betray me like that??? I told him to keep it a secret!!!, and he didn't!
(But all of this was in my head)

Then I hear Ryder :"please don't be mad at Marshall" he pleaded "he was only looking out for your well being" he stated
"Ohh, ok just barely, Chase is about 400 yards in front of you Marshall, wait guys before a get him let me call him, I'll patch you though so you can hear but you can't say a word!

I heard the phone call ring once then the busy tone come on the I heard Ryder say: "Rocky, Marshall he's out of the coverage but you can send him a voice memo though, Marshall I need you to use your nose","you're the second best next to chase in smelling"

"Thanks Ryder" we said in unison

Ryder: "oh crap!!!....I lost his signal", "Marshall go find chase....."

The call cut off with nothing but Static

"Marshall lets go find my love Chase!!" I screamed (in panic)

Marshall: "sure" *starts smelling ground*
"He's this way!!"

We started running northeast(exactly the opposite of the lookout which was southeast)

Marshall: "the smell is getting stronger!, he's been here recently!"

"are you sure?" I asked Marshall

Marshall:"yeah!??!, Chase has a unique smell"

We came on the edge of this clearing
And then.....we saw my dad and Chase talking..and then we saw my evil dad Randy pull a gun out of his pocket!....I gasped, Marshall was watching me and what was going on, I guess it was a good thing because I tried to jump out of the bushes and attack my evil dad, but that didn't happen because I was tugged back by Marshall and he covered my mouth with his paw

Marshall: "shhh,....can I let go of you??"

*i nodded my response*(yes)

He let go of me and said: "now be quiet and maybe we can hear what they're talking about"

We heard my dad say: "so, chase which will it be?" And then Chase said "peacefully"
My dad replied:"Good choice, he paused
"Look I'm gonna have to knock you out"
Chase asked:"why?" And then my *bastard* of a father injected my chase with something.......

(Time skip about 30 seconds)

it took everything in me, for me to just sit there and watch quietly!!!!!........
(And I don't know if Marshall heard this)
I barely heard Chase mumbling this:" I love you Rocky".............."I hope to see you again,my love" and then he blacked out.....I was just sitting there watching, his limp body on the ground just laying there,lifeless.

(Tears start forming in my eyes)
I collapsed on the ground (sobbing)

Still watching as my *Fucking* evil *bastard* of a dad no,no Randy!
Drags my loves body on the ground behind him!

After that I blacked out.........

A/n: sorry I might have gotten I little carried away with the flashback, it's just when the flow of word come out you just wanna put them in place
