Prem and Maya laughed as they saw each other. Today, Maya was already sitting when Prem arrived.

❝ Are you really an illusion like your name? ❞ he asked, sitting beside her.

She smiled, closing her notebook shut. She breathed in, before tilting her head and smiling at him.

❝ I have to leave right now, unfortunately ❞

Prem's disappointment was clear as day but Maya's smile didn't falter.

❝ Meet me tomorrow to find out if I'm an illusion? ❞

She asked and he nodded at her.

❝ You could be a serial killer, how can I trust you? ❞

He asked, a playful smile on his face.

❝ I'll be here at 9 p.m. tomorrow. Feel free to come along if you clear your doubts ❞

She said, walking away.

❝ See you tomorrow ❞

He said it a little loudly, wanting the retreating figure of Maya to hear it.
