❝ We met on first June for the first time ❞

Prem and Maya were done with their morning walk and were enjoying a nice cup of tea from a hawker.

❝ How do you remember all these dates? ❞

He asked, as he blowed at the cup to make the tea less hot. Maya clicked her tongue.

❝ It was the beginning of June, so it's obviously easy ❞

Prem nodded, glancing at his smart watch.

❝ It's fifteenth today? ❞

He laughed softly before resuming.

❝ It's been only fifteen days to our friendship but I already know about all the guys you have crushed on, your late pet dog, your dream job, your dream wedding, your dream destination ❞

❝ And I know about how you cry a little every time RCB is eliminated from IPL, how you don't really like coffee but pretend it's nice to not stand out. I know about your favourite made up invention- flying cars, and that you like lady finger sabji the best ❞

Maya answered and he smiled. Something had changed in the air that day.
