This is the hardest chapter I've had to write because there wasn't a lot to do. However, the song is the most emotional part of this chapter. I'm confident someone will cry

The two were flying through the land and finally made it to Lonesome Flats.

As the balloon was about to land, Hickory signaled Delta and the rest to get everything ready.

"Remember when we came to Lonesome Flats?"

"Yeah and we got thrown in jail for our medley & met Hickory" Poppy said with a happy sigh

"Feels like such a long time ago"

Just as they got to the middle of Lonesome Flats, the country trolls came out and invited the star crossed lovers to the biggest barbecue they could have.

Everyone talked, told stories, and laughed for what seemed like hours.

While Poppy and Branch we're getting ready to leave, Hickory broke into song with Delta as planned

🎼We we're sittin' up there on your momma's roof. Talkin' bout everything under the moon with the smell of honeysuckle and your perfume. All I could think about was my next move. Oh, but you were so shy and so was I. 🎼

As that line was said, Poppy was intrigued and Branch turned his head towards Poppy

🎼Maybe that's why it was so hard to believe when you smiled and said to me🎼

On the two beats before the chorus, Hickory and Delta clapped their hooves to the ground.

🎼Are you gonna kiss me or not? Are we gonna do this or what?🎼

Poppy was sensing a pattern and she was in love with it

Just then, Branch started singing too

🎼I think you know I like you a lot🎼

Then Poppy joined in

🎼But you're bout to miss your shot🎼

The star crossed lovers sang a beautiful duo

🎼Are you gonna kiss me or not🎼

Then Branch has the spotlight as it were the perfect time to make his declaration

🎼It was the best dang kiss that I ever had except for that long one after that and I knew if I wanted this thing to last. Sooner or later, I'd have to ask🎼

Branch took her hand and pulled out the special box which had a custom made ring. A heart shaped design with two music notes in it that was the same colors as their eyes.

🎼For your hand so I took the chance, bought a wedding band, and I got down on one knee🎼

At that point, Branch got on one knee.

Poppy had her hands on her mouth in surprise and happiness. She started tearing up. She nodded yes and held her hand out to which Branch put the ring on

🎼And you smiled and said to me🎼

Hickory and Delta simulated the percussion beats as they dropped out and let the newlyweds sing.

🎼Are you gonna kiss me or not? Are we gonna do this or what? I think you know I love you a lot. I think we've got a real good shot. Are you gonna kiss me or not?🎼

Just then, the two got into a slow dance & all the other country trolls got into a hoedown

🎼So we planned it all out for the middle of June. From the wedding cake to the honeymoon🎼

Branch wanted to make this even more special to her

🎼And your momma cried when you walked down the aisle🎼

At this point, Poppy was crying with joy, knowing that her mother was with her in spirit and was really really proud of her.

🎼When the preacher man said 'say I do,' I did and you did too🎼

Then Branch got her in a bridal position once again and both of them cupped each others cheeks.

🎼Then I lifted that veil and saw your pretty smile🎼

Then Branch kissed her cheek

🎼And I said are you gonna kiss me or not? Are we gonna do this or what?🎼

Then the star crossed lovers looked around

🎼Look at all the love that we got🎼

At that point, Branch declared the promise

🎼And it ain't never gonna stop🎼

Poppy finally knew everything that was going on. She smiled bigger and her eyes got brighter. If it were a dream, she never wanted to wake up. However, it was her biggest dream.

🎼Are you gonna kiss me or not?🎼

Branch sang his declaration of love

🎼Yeah, baby, I love you a lot🎼

Then, Delta and Hickory came back in to finish the song

🎼I really think we've got a shot🎼

The women dropped out and the men sang with great passion

🎼Are you gonna kiss me or not?🎼

As the song finished, the country trolls threw their hats in the air and cheered.

Hugs were exchanged and the star crossed newlyweds took off, but not in the balloon.

"So that's what you did!?" Poppy said curiously

"Yep, every location we've gone to and will go to corresponds to a memory I had with you when we went on our adventures. One thing I really love about you is the fact that you make a difference in everyone's lives" Branch then took Poppy's hand. "Including mine"

Poppy couldn't help but feel really touched

"Oh Branchifer" Poppy said happily as she cupped his cheeks and the two shared a passionate kiss under the moonlight.

When they broke, they started walking. To think things couldn't get any better than what just happened. Throughout the trip, Branch thought about one more thing to ask Poppy.

I wonder what it is😉😉😉

Well, I'm confident someone is going to cry. Sadly, we have 3 more chapters and we're done. I enjoyed writing this chapter and I'm confident that these last 3 chapters will be enjoyable as well. To get emotional when I already made you all emotional, I want to thank you all so much for your support. It's been an amazing ride and writing has been so much fun. I love you all😇😇💖💖
