Me Want-Sophie's POV

A/N: Why, hello there! This is a ship I may or may not have made up. It's a new kind of ship for me at least, shipping three people together, so we'll see if it sinks like the White Star line, or not. If you don't ship any of these people together... You clicked on it. Don't blame me if you don't like it. Heck, I don't even know if I like it. It'll probably be some fluffy stuff. Probably all fluffy stuff. Maybe just one shots. We'll see. (I found the pic above online. Tasty.)

Mmmmmmmmmm

Mallowmelt.

Rifflepuffs.

Literally anything edible in the Lost Cities.

Toffee.

Me want toffee.

I don't know why, but even with all the mouthwatering, soul-filling foods in the Lost Cities, I've been craving toffee.

I didn't even like toffee in the Forbidden Cities, but...

Amy did.

We would make toffee all the time, and it was messy.

Well, Amy did.

I just put it in the oven.

I couldn't cook or bake to save my life, which was why Edaline was the one making food, not me.

Well, I did make ripplepuffs for Fitz, but that was only because I bought 4 times the amount of ingredients you would need to make enough for a party, not just for one person.

And I barely made enough for one person.

And I made a mess.

Once I was done in the kitchen, it looked like how I imagined Dex's siblings' room looked like after a sleepover. A graveyard where messes died.

Okay, I was a little clumsy.

.........

Fine. A lot clumsy.

Which was why I was going to ask for help.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Glancing around the kitchen, I hailed Dex.
Being a Technopath, surely he would be good in the kitchen, right?
"Sorry Sophie. As much as I would like to hang out with my best friend," he winked. "I have to help my mom. With the triplets. Something about a light leaping crystal, Dad's shop, a giant fan, a farmer's cart full of produce, and my mom's wedding dress. And oil, paint, light bulbs, and Silveny's poop."
I winced.
"Sounds.... Chaotic. Tell me about it later?"
"Sure."
Dex sighed, long and deep.
Then something he said hit me.
"You guys have farmers?"
"Yeah."
He looked puzzled.
"Where do you think our produce comes from?"
I paused.
"The gnomes?"
"Oh. Yeah. See, the gnomes farm, but elven people help too. And a couple of years ago, a Technopath,"
He brightened at this.
"They came up with a faster, no pollution way to transport food. And it's been working! So far..."
Dex scowled, and muttered something about understanding why triplets aren't exactly a crowd favorite. Something three times the chaos.
He sighed, longer and deeper than before.
"Anyways, I have to go... I'll tell you about it later, if and when I ever get back."
I nodded and smiled.
"Good luck Dex!"
"Thanks...."
With that, he ended the call.
"Now who to ask?" I mused.
"Fitz and Linh are off somewhere, Dex can't. Biana is at the spa. Marella is with her mom. Wylie? Nah. It would be awkward. I guess Keefe and Tam...."
"I'll hail Tam first. I know Keefe will say yes."
Tapping on the screen of my Imparter, I hailed the silver-haired elf.
He picked up, and I asked him.
To my surprise, I heard Keefe in the background!
"Tam? Is that Keefe? Why is he at Alluveterre?"
I saw Tam's cheeks redden a little bit.
He tugged on his bangs.
"Keefe pranked me, and he wanted to see the results immediately."
It was then that I realized his hair was wet, and it looked like he just threw on a tunic.
"Hey Foster!"
Keefe's hair was also wet, but he didn't have on a tunic.
I blushed, looking anywhere but his bare torso.
"I wanted to ask if you wanted to help me make toffee...."
Keefe brightened at this, and Tam's face twisted into concern.
"Of course! I want to be there for that train wreck."
He winked, and my cheeks turned even redder.
"Tam.... Would you like to come? I hailed you to ask....."
He snorted.
"See you burn down the kitchen, and maybe Keefe's hair? I wouldn't miss it for the world."
Keefe looked offended.
"Hey! No one is doing anything  to 'The Hair.'"
He swiped his hand through the aforementioned and I felt my cheeks heat up again.
Cool it Sophie.
Keefe smirked when he saw this, but Tam quickly covered his mouth with his hand.
"We'll be right there."
With that, he turned off his Imparter.
What was that about?
I sat down in a chair, waiting for the boys to arrive.
Maybe this won't be a train wreck.
A/N: Hmmmmmmm...... I wonder why Keefe and Tam were at Alluveterre together.
