Chapter One: Where your story begins

Allow me to retell a classic story with a fresh perspective, and we shall discover your familiarity with it. Once upon a time, a little baby girl was born with horns like a dragons, and she possessed magnificent wings of a beautiful (F/C) color. However, during a moment of slumber for the entire Fae community, an unfortunate event occurred. Someone abducted the young child from her home, resulting in her family never seeing her again.

Upon learning of her whereabouts, King Stefan issued an order. He commanded the individuals who had captured her to bring her to him. His intention was to study her and uncover any potential vulnerabilities that could be exploited against Maleficent. Despite several years of diligent effort, he achieved minimal success and remained devoid of substantial answers. Recognizing the significance of her presence, he made the decision to raise the girl as his own. However, throughout her upbringing within the castle walls, she was strictly confined and denied the opportunity to venture outside.

During her confinement, she discovered a hidden talent for magic. Initially, it proved challenging, but she persevered with the assistance of various books over the years. Eventually, she acquired the ability to render her wings and horns invisible. However, upon revealing this accomplishment to her guardians, they maintained their decision to restrict her within the castle. Despite this limitation, she occasionally found solace in the company of a majestic raven that occasionally visited her. When she was twelve years old, her life suddenly changed for the better you thought. Your mother was expecting a child of her own, and you were so excited to have a little sister to look after. Now you're thirteen, and looking at your new sister, she looks so much different than you. No wings and no horns at all. You knew something was off. You had known for so many years but never wanted to admit it. Your suspicions came true after your sister was born. You still loved her no matter what and would protect her at any cost. The christening was tomorrow. Your father and your mother wanted you to be there, but you were ordered to hide your horns and wings at any cost, so that's what you did. you even saw your little friend, the raven in the windowsill that day as quickly as he came he left it whas now the next day and you where standing at youre little sisters crip All manner of folk came to the christening,

These are not just any old gifts, for, you see, we're magic! And very good with children.

Very well.

i was still standing at my little sisters crip when the fairy in pink came first with her gift to Aurora

Sweet Aurora, I wish you the gift of beauty.

My wish is that you will never be blue, only happy, all the days of your life.

Sweet baby, my wish for you is that you find...

That's when the green fairy got interrupted by a dark gust of wind that blew through the hall, extinguishing all the light, making it cold and dark. There came a woman walking in the hall. The fairies were whispering her name, and if I heard right, she is called Maleficent.

She started talking, "Well, well." She chuckled while walking up to the stairs where the king and queen were sitting. That's when you saw your raven friend flying in and landing on her cane. "What a glittering assemblage, King Stefan."

The Queen gave a concerning look to her king. Maleficent turned around, staring into the crowd of terrified people, and said, "Royalty, nobility, the gentry, and..." She stopped to chuckle lightly while the raven cawed in return. She stroked his feathers and continued, "How quaint." "Even the rabble." She said while stroking the feathers of her companion. Her gaze came upon the tree fairy and saw a young lady standing by them, staring in interest and fascination at her. Maleficent sighed before continuing, and looking back at the king, "I must say I really felt quite distressed at not receiving an invitation." Her companion agreed with her by cawing.

"You're not welcome here." King Stefan answered with an unreadable look on his face.

Maleficent looked down into a pout before eventually laughing. "Oh, dear. What an awkward situation."

The tension in the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Even the young lady that stood by her little sister's crib could understand that this was going the wrong way, really quick.

The Queen asked the fairy a question at her remark, looking a bit concerned. "You're not offended?"

"Why, no. And to show I bear no ill will,
I, too, shall bestow a gift on the child."

King Stefan jumped out of his seat, saying, "No! We don't want your gift!"

Maleficent gave a look to Stefan, and he shut up immediately. She walked to the crib, the other little fairy screaming at her to

"Stay away from the princess!
Yes, stay away!"

She gave them a gust of wind and sent them down into a box. You were standing beside the crib, not leaving your sister's side at all costs, and you looked up at her with awe and wonder. Maleficent meets your gaze, and she frowns at you.

"Well, why don't I give both of you daughters a gift?"

King Stefan looks at her with pleading eyes, but he says nothing.

She started to twirl her fingers around her staff in circles and spoke, "Listen well, all of you. The princesses shall indeed grow in grace and beauty, beloved by all who meet them.

"That's a lovely gift." the Queen responded, but Maleficent was not done yet.

"Don't do this." Stefan whispers. She puts her finger in front of her lips, showing he should be quiet. That's when her gaze landed on a spinning wheel. "But before the sun sets on her 16th birthday, they both will prick their finger
on the spindle of a spinning wheel
and fall into a sleep like death,
a sleep from which
they will never awaken."

"Maleficent, please don't do this, I'm begging you." Stefan pleads with her.

Maleficent tilts her head upward. "I like you begging. Do it again."

Stefan gets on one knee. "I beg you."

Maleficent smirks. "All right. The princesses can be woken from their death sleep, but only by true love's kiss." She turns to the crowd. "This curse will last until the end of time!
No power on Earth can change it!" She laughs before walking out, her raven following close behind.

King Stefan ordered his men to seize every spinning wheel in the kingdom. The wheels were broken and burned so that they might never be used again and thrown into the deepest dungeon in the castle. Secretly, he entrusted the safety of the children to the magic of the pixies, who would take them to a remote hideaway for 16 years. The child whose name is (Y/N) was sad to leave her home behind that she had known for thirteen years to live with her new aunties to raise Aurora in a snug little cottage
in the woods. She never forgot about Maleficent and the beautiful raven she saw that day. She also wondered why she was sent out with these pixies who were obviously incapable of caring for little Aurora. They almost forgot every time that they were there. They didn't even Know how to feed the baby! Lucky, the starving child who was under the watchful gaze of (Y/N), tried to tell the fairies that she needed milk, but they ignored her and just gave the baby some carrots and went on their merry way. So (Y/N) tried to find something for the baby herself, but after failing miserably, she decided to rock the baby and read a book of herbs and special flowers. While silently crying, she eventually did find one of the flowers she needed. Before going out to find it, she heard a flutter of wings at the windowsill and walked to her raven friend. He was holding the flower that she needed to feed her sister. Before taking it, she thanked her feathered friend and gently took the flower from his beak and placed it gently in the baby's mouth. She immediately quieted down, and (Y/N) sighed a sigh of relief.

After that fateful day, the raven and (Y/N) grew very close. They cared for and protected little Aurora from danger, all the while she played and talked to the raven. Even though he couldn't speak, you knew somehow that he understood and listened to you.

Being given away to tree pixies to live in the woods and being cursed by an evil fairy can definitely ruin someone's mood, but not (Y/N)'s. She persevered and made the best of it.

The raven and (Y/N) became fast friends. She even asked him a strange question: if he could teach her how to fly. Somehow, he agreed to it, so every night when everyone was asleep, they would find themselves at a tree, and the raven would try to explain to the best of his abilities. She did learn some things, like gliding down and landing properly, but flying itself was a lot harder to do. This would go on for several years to come. When Aurora was five, (Y/N) was eighteen. They both had adventurous spirits. (Y/N) would often take Aurora to the woods along with the raven Aurora gave him the nickname of "pretty bird." You, on the other hand, gave him the nickname of "handsome." It felt more fitting.

All the while, Maleficent grew quite particularly close to the sisters, but her interests were more on the side of the one with the beautiful (F/C) colored wings. While the sisters always met up with Maleficent, (Y/N) was quite wary of the horned fairy at first. But over time, her wariness was forgotten, and she became quite close to Maleficent. Little Aurora called her "Fairy Godmother," and (Y/N) let her believe that. Why break that little fantasy of hers?
