I laughed as we skipped rocks into the lake, the water shimmering in the moonlight. I looked up at the taller man before me; he had light brown hair that reached his ears, bright green eyes, and a smile that could brighten up even my darkest days. His name was Ryan and he was my boyfriend.

"Oh come on, Jonathan. Skipping rocks can't be that hard! Just snap your wrist a little more." Ryan explained to me.

I rolled my eyes as I tried to skip another rock, failing for what feels like the millionth time that night. Ryan chuckled in amusement as I pouted up at him. Ryan looked out to the water, it was slowly getting darker and approaching midnight.

"..As much as I love hanging out with you, I better get you home before anyone finds us."Ryan told me, his voice filled with sadness.

"Yeah.." I replied sadly. I stood up on my tip toes and gave Ryan a passionate kiss, his arms found their way around my waist while my arms went around his neck. We kissed for what felt like hours, but in reality it was only minutes before we went our separate ways.
