Marinette woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. She hadn't slept that well in ages! She stretched her arms and got out of bed. When she looked over at cat, she found he was sound asleep. Marinette smiled. It seemed he had been tired too.

She got up out of bed and quietly went to school. When she got to school though, she couldn't concentrate. To much had been going on in her head. She looked in front of her and saw Adrien's empty seat. She frowned and sighed. She's been so focused on saving cat noir, she's barely thought about Adrien recently. She hoped he was okay.

After school she went home and saw that cat was up and waiting for her.

"Hey kitty cat,"  she said and stroked him.

He purred and leaned his head into her hand. While petting him she was lost in thought thinking about the Miraculouses. She needed to finish the dream. She stopped petting the cat and got up, leaving a confused Cat.

"Sorry Cat, there's somewhere I have to go," she said

Marinette made her way to Master Fu's place. When she got there she knocked on the door and was greeted by Master fu.

"Ah marinette, your back! I wasn't expecting you back so soon," he said

"Master fu, in order to complete the dream, I need no interruptions what so ever, and I can't do that at home. I'm going to put on both miraculouses again, but this time, please don't take them off," Marinette said.

Master fu looked at her for a moment and then smiled.

"Alright, if you think this may help us find a solution, I will trust you Ladybug," he said

Marinette got in a comfortable position and then took the ring off the necklace. She stared at it for a minute, took a deep breathe and then put it on her finger. Just like last time, the world started to spin and she sunk into darkness.

Once she woke up, she realized she was in the cat noir world. She decided that it would be best if she went to ladybug's world as that was where the battle occurred last time.

"Tikki spots on!" A white flash occurred and when Marinette's eyes adjusted she found herself in the ladybug world. After looking around a bit she saw the red ladybug figure. Just then she saw the green cat noir figure show up, as well as the green cracks. On cue, she felt the same pain in her stomach as last time, but this time, she knew she had to persevere and see how this battle ended. They continued to battle just as they did last time and in her dream, until Ladybug had once again pinned cat noir. At this moment, marinette felt another sharp pain. It was almost unbearable, but she kept her eyes focused on ladybug and cat noir. Ladybug leaned into cat noir and kissed him. The world flashed white and blinded marinette. When she opens her eyes again, the pain was gone. The world around had turned white and instead of a red ladybug and green cat noir there was a pink figure, which she guessed represented marinette and a blue figure, which must've represented cat noirs civilian form. They had detransformed! All of a sudden, marinette felt dizzy and collapsed again, and then her world once again faded to black.

Marinette woke up back in Master Fu's room. Master fu was sitting next to her.

"You've woken up. How did it go?" He asked

Marinette then explained what happened in the dream. Master Fu listened silently, deep in thought.

"I believe that your dream may hold the key to helping cat noir," master fu said

"What do you mean master? She asked

"In your dream you said ladybug kissed Cat noir and then they both detransformed. Perhaps a kiss is what could help fix this situations. After all the ladybug and cat noir miraculous are of equal power. One I. Destruction, the other in creation. It may just work." Master fu said

Marinette was silent. Her brain was trying to process what master fu had said.

"Wait wait wait, I have to KISS cat noir?!" Marinette said

"If you want to save him," master fu replied.

"O-okay, I'm g-gonna go now, b-bye Master fu," marinette said and then sprinted out of there. When she got home she collapsed onto her bed. Cat meowed a concerned meow, but marinette ignored him. She sighed and sat up. She really needed to talk to Tikki, but she couldn't with Cat in the room. She then came up with a plan.

"Cat I'm gonna go shower," she said and then went into the bathroom. She turned on the shower and then sat on the toilet.

"Tikki," she whispered.

"What is it marinette?" She asked

"I need to talk to you about what happens at master Fu's" marinette said

"You mean you having to kiss cat noir?"

Marinette felt a slight blush rise onto her cheeks.

"I can't do it Tikki! I love Adrien!" Marinette said

"But you've kissed cat noir before," Tikki said

"That was different," marinette said

"Not really, last time you needed to save cat Noir from a spell he was put under. I think the situation is quite similar" Tikki said.

Marinette was quiet, the situations were similar.

"Besides haven't you gotten closer to cat noir?" Tikki asked

Marinette didn't reply. She had to do it, to save her partner. Adrien would understand, right?

Marinette sighed, turned off the shower and changed into her pjs in the bathroom. She then walked out of the bathroom. She walked over to cat and put the ring on his paw.

"Go see ladybug," she said

Cat meowed confused. Marinette sighed

"I need some time alone, so please go see ladybug," she said

Cat nodded and meowed. Then he transformed into cat noir.

"Mari are you alright?" He asked

Marinette smiled

" yeah, I just need some time alone," he said

"Alright," he said then left to go find ladybug.

Marinette stared at him leaving for a few moments before she sighed. Cat noir was incredible guy, but her heart belonged to Adrien.

"Tikki, spots on" she said.

Ladybug transformed and went to go meet up with cat noir. She found him at the Eiffel Tower waiting for her.

"Cat Noir! I wasn't expecting to see you so soon!" Ladybug said.

"I'd promise you'd see me again didn't I?" He said

Ladybug smiled and hugged him.

"I hope you've been a good kitty cat," she teased

"But of course, m'lady," he said

"Are you holding up okay, being a cat and all?" Ladybug asked

"It's not as bad as you would think. The friend I'm staying with has made sure I'm comfortable and I'm really grateful to her,"

Of course ladybug knew who he was staying with but she couldn't help hit tease him.

"Her? My goodness has the cat finally settled down?" She teased

"You wound me m'lady you know my heart only belongs to you," he said.

Ladybug's smile faded a bit.

"Why do you keep pursuing me Cat Noir when I've told you I'm in love with someone else. Does it not hurt you? Would it not be easier to move on?" Ladybug asked

Cat Noir looked at ladybug and gave her a sad smile .

"just as you won't accept my feelings because you're in love with someone else, I can't move on because my heart belongs to you, I love you ladybug" he said

Ladybug was quiet. She didn't know what to say. But time was running out, it was now or never. Ladybug walked closer to cat noir. She wrapped her hands around his neck and then kissed him.

Cat noir was shocked for a moment but then leaned into the kiss. Ladybug had kiss cat noir before, but it was nothing like this. The first time she had kissed him, it was a quick peck on the lips to save cat noir from a spell and cat noir didn't even remember it. This time, it was different. She felt sparks as she kissed cat and could feel his love for her in that kiss. What's more while they kissed green and red sparks seem to fly around them, adding to the magic.

After a minute, ladybug pulled away, she was sure her face was bright red, so she turned around and got out her yoyo.

"I'll see you later Cat Noir," She said and left, leaving a stunned cat noir.

When she got home, she detransformed.

"Now we wait for him to come back and see if he turned into a cat," marinette said

"You know marinette, this whole thing seems really romantic," Tikki said

"Don't be silly Tikki I'm in love with-" she cut herself off. During that kiss, she didn't feel like she was betraying Adrien, in fact, she hadn't been thinking about Adrien at all, her only thoughts were about cat noir. Time seemed to hold still while they had kissed, the moment was perfect-

No! Marinette shook her head. Her heart belonged to Adrien, that fact would not change.

Just then Tikki his and cat noir came into her room.

"Hey cat noir-" marinette cut herself off when she saw the look on cat noirs face. It was a mixture of shock, awe, and happiness.

"Cat Noir, are you okay?" She asked hesitantly.

A smile appeared on cat noirs face.

"She kissed me Mari," he said

"Who kissed you?" Marinette asked even though she knew the answer to it.

"Ladybug! She kissed me! It was amazing, it was better than anything I could've ever hoped for!" Cat Noir said.

Marinette was listening to him, however, her attention was dialed in to his ring. It wasn't flashing yet. That was a good sign.

"Cat Noir, your ring hasn't started to flash yet," marinette stated

Cat noir looked down at his ring.

"Your right Mari, normally I wouldn't even be human by this point and yet it hasn't start to beep yet," Cat Noir said

"Cat Noir, why don't you try detasnforming in the bathroom? If it hasn't started to flash, maybe it's fixed," marinette said

Cat noir looked at him and then nodded.

He walked into the bathroom.

"Plagg, claws off," he said

Marinette saw a green flash come from the bathroom.

"Cat Noir? Are you still human?" She asked

It was silent for a moment.

"Marinette! My miraculous is fixed! I detransformed!" Cat Noir said!

"That's amazing, can you transform back?" Marinette asked

"There's no way he's becoming cat noir again before I get some cheese! I've had to live off cheddar and Swiss! My poor sweet Camembert!" Plagg said

Marinette giggled and then went downstairs to her bakery. Fortunately, they had Camembert in stock. She cut off a piece and then walked back to the bathroom.

"Cat Noir, I'm coming in, my eyes are closed," marinette said and opened the door. She felt someone take the cheese from her hand, followed by eating noises.

"Plagg claws out" cat noir said

"Mari it's okay I'm transformed now," he said

Marinette opened her eyes and let out a sigh of relief. Cat noir's miraculous was back to normal. Things could back to normal now.

Marinette walked up to cat noir and hugged him.

"I'm glad you're back to normal" she said with a smile.

Cat noir smiled back, then took her hand and kissed it.

"I'm in your debt marinette. Thank you," he said, then walked toward the window.

"I'll see you soon," he said

When he left marinette let out a dreamy sigh and sat on her bed. So much had happened in the past few weeks. She'd gotten closer to cat noir these past few weeks and even though this whole experience was a disaster, she was glad it happened. It made her appreciate him more and she felt as if they had gotten closer.

Just then Tikki popped out.

"Are you sure you aren't having a change of heart towards cat noir?" Tikki asked.

"Tikki don't be silly, my heart belongs to Adrien," she said.

"If you say so," Tikki said

The next day at school, Adrien had come back! Everyone was so excited! Apparently Adrien managed to escape from his kidnappées and was able to get home. Everyone was talking to him and marinette didn't get a chance to all day.

When school was finally over, marinette finally saw her chance to talk to Adrien as he waited for his driver to pick him up.

"H-hey Adrien," she said

He looked up and smiled

"Hey marinette," he said

"I'm glad you came back safe, school wasn't the same without you," marinette said.

"Yeah it's good to be back," Adrien said

Just then his driver showed up.

"I'll see you tomorrow marinette," he said

"Bye Adrien," she said

When she got home, she was quiet. She was confused. She didn't know what was happening. When she talked to Adrien, her heart did flutter but not nearly as my as it used to, and she was able to talk to him normally. She was never able to do that before. Her thoughts veered to cat noir,  and she felt her heartbeat quicken a bit thinking about the kiss they had shared. Just as she thought of it she shook it out of her head.

Her heart belonged to Adrien...

Right?
