After my little get together with Percy, I headed back to the table whilst Percy went to his seat. As I walked past Zoe I heard a little giggle. Smiling to myself I sat down next to Piper.

"What was that?" She whispered loudly

"What?"

"You smacked his hand!" She seemed to be having a hard time dealing with the fact that I smacked his hand

"So? I've punched him in the face before"

She spat out her pancake

"You did what?" She nearly yelled. We heard a tsk tsk sound come from behind us. We turned around and saw Sarah there

"A lady does not raise her voice above a whisper" Then she walked off

Piper turned back to me rolling her eyes at Sarah

"You did what?" This time she made sure to keep her voice down

"I punched him. He had a black eye for a week. We were like 7! Calm down!"

"You were 7 and you punched him hard enough to give him a black eye?"

"Well yeah. I trained with the guards"

She shook her head not believing this "Why did you punch the Princes face?"

"Long story short, he cheated on our annual capture the flag game. That thing is serious. No cheating allowed whatsoever"

She shook her head again laughing and went back to her food. Soon after everyone was done, Percy dismissed us

"Thank you, ladies, it was lovely to meet you all. If you were asked to stay behind, please stay seated. If not, your free for the day"

Stay behind? Was I asked? I don't think so. Piper got up with me and left towards the women's room. As I was leaving I looked back at the girls who had stayed seated. 5.

Ivy Valentine, 5, Cassidy Pitt, 3, Ava Pruitt, 3, Tegan Mace, 7 and Melissa Russo, 7. Was he sending them home?

I didn't get to see Percy as he walked over because the guards at the door slammed the door shut in my face. I looked over at the guards. One I didn't really recognise, must be a newbie, but the second I did. Under his guard helmet, I could make out whisks of blonde hair. When he noticed me I looked into those electric blue eyes as we made eye contact. His smile grew making the little scar on his top lip that he got when he tried to eat a stapler really show.

Jason Grace, Percy's "bro"

"Hello Sparky" I greeted him as I walked up to him which he smiled in reply. Making Piper notice and stop to walk with me

"Sparky?" She asked

"Just a nickname. He got electrocuted one time. Quite funny really. Another friend came up with the name, Leo. Piper, this is Jason Grace"

Jason bowed to her, making her blush.

"You know Annabeth, you don't need to go round telling your new friends about my life story," He told me

"It's not your whole life story! Just the funniest part!"

"You look very different, by the way. Never seen you in a dress" His eyes gave me a friendly once over

"Why thank you. I'm still trying to get used to it"

The doors opened beside us for Percy to walk out. His face looked pained. Maybe he did send those girls home. When he noticed that we were there he put on a smile, fake, and stepped closer to us

"Sparky!"

"Kelp Head!"

They did there little "bro" handshake while Piper and I were laughing

"Do they do this every time they see each other?" She leaned in

"Yep, even if Percy's walking down a hall and they bump into each other"

They had finished their bro handshake

"Well Jason, we best be off. Got to go to the Women's room"

Percy turned around, seeming to notice us for the first time

"Annabeth, Lady Piper" He bowed

"Why can't I have Lady in front of my name?" I whined

He pointed his finger at me "Tsk tsk Annabeth, a lady does not whine"

"Thank you for pointing that out Seaweed Brain"

"Your welcome Wise Girl"

"Kelp Head"

"Owl Brain"

"Water Boy"

"Annie Bell"

During our little nickname war, I hadn't noticed that we had gotten extremely close to each other. Like, touching nose close or kissing close, making my face turn red. He noticed this and realised how close we are. His face turned red too.

I looked down at those lips of his, wanting to kiss him, but not ready too.

I cleared my throat and backed away.

"You win that one Seaweed Brain, not next time though" I quickly grabbed Piper's hand and sped walked down the hall to the Women's room.

In the Women's rooms, there were more than half of the girls. I looked around, noticing that the girls that had stayed behind were gone.

In the room, everyone was sitting in the far corner. In the opposite corner sat the Queen, Sally.

I walked over to the bookshelf and picked one out for myself whilst Piper went over to a coffee table and picked up a magazine. She started to walk to the far corner that everyone else was in but I stopped her getting her hand and spinning her around.

"What?"

"Come on, let's sit with Sally! I'll introduce you"

She shook her head "What? No way am I sitting with the Queen"

"Come on, she's really nice!"

After some quiet persuading, she finally caved in

"Alright, alright"

Happy, I lead her over to Sally

"Morning Sally" I greeted as I sat down next to her. She looked up from her book to me

"Good Morning Annabeth. Who's this?"

"Piper McLean from Whites"

"Good Morning, your majesty" She curtsied

"And to you as well Piper. Please take a seat, no need for formalities"

Piper took a seat from across us whilst Sally put a bookmark in her book

"Sorry to interrupt your reading"

"Oh, it's fine. It was a slow bit anyways"

"Have you meet any of the other girls?" I asked

She shook her head "No, only Piper. I think they're too sacred. What do they think I'll do? Chop their heads off? No, chop the legs off first. More painful" At this Piper's face had drained all the colour.

Sally laughed and patted Piper's leg "Don't worry dear! I'm only joking" You could see Piper relax physically.

"I've walked past some of them though," Sally continued "I've got first impressions. Some I think would be good, others? Not so much"

For a good twenty minutes, Piper, Sally and I gossiped about the other selected until Sally got a note from Paul, having to leave

"Sorry girls, I must go. Sometimes I wonder how this place is still going with Paul at the front"

Piper and I sat in the same spot all day. Talking, reading and eating.

Dinner was uneventful. I caught Rachel Dare, 5 from St, George, and Percy sneaking glances at one another. Hopefully, that's nothing too big, had they gone on a date? I didn't get asked to go on a date.

When I got to my room, my maids helped me get undressed and ready for bed. I sat on the balcony reading my uneasy thoughts away. In the distance, I could see two people walking. One I recognised as Percy, the other was a girl. I waited until they were in the better light before I could guess who the girl was. Once they were in the better light I saw Calypso Nightshade, 5 from Atlin.

Sad and frustrated that I hadn't had a date with Percy, I fell asleep.

Little Percabeth fluff for ya! So close to a kiss! Not today my friends! Hahaha
