Take Three: Math Kisses

@LovesLittleDove prompted: Um... Can you make one where Robin is 13 and KF is 15, Robin has this adorable kitten sneeze and he sneezes in front of the team. The team kinda stares at him and Robin gets embarrassed, then KF just tackles him into a hug...... (You can decide what happens next)

WARNING: Some math ahead. None you have to solve, but still, Mental Abuse To Humans.

Here goes nothing...

Robin: 13

Kid Flash: 15

Wally had liked Dick for a long time, but the one thing that stopped from asking Robin out was the face that he was most likely going to be rejected. Who knew all it took was a sneeze from Robin and a tackle hug from Wally.

Wally was sitting in his room, doing his Algebra 2 homework and not doing a good job at it. He groaned when he read the next question out of the textbook.

"Okay Wally, let's read this again. 'Thomas watches a cannon shot off a tower 163 feet in the air. The equation for a cannonball shot from it is h of t equals negative sixteen T squared plus two-hundred twenty-two T plus one-hundred sixty three, where T is the time in seconds.'" Wally murmured to himself as he wrote the equation down in his notebook. "'The horizontal distance the cannon travels to is given by h of t equals eighty seven T. A wooden merchant ship is the victim of the cannon ball, and it is 2,000 feet away from the stone fort. Does the cannonball hit the merchant ship?"

Wally put a confused expression on his face and set down his pencil, groaning. I shouldn't have skipped out of Algebra 1 into Geometry freshman year. He thought to himself. Deciding that he didn't really want to do the problem, he got up and went to the kitchen to get himself a snack.

On the way there, he saw Robin laying on the couch in the living room listening to music and he had a Pre-Calculus book in his lap. Wally did a double take once he saw the large textbook in the young bird's lap. He had known that Robin was just starting his freshman year of high school and was quite good in math. He was just about to ask the bat for help when Red Arrow walked in a shook the boy's shoulder.

Robin looked up and and took out his earbuds. The young at sat up, allowing Roy to sit and he put the book between them. Wally decided it was time for him to come in, so he waltzed in and plopped down next to Robin.

"Sup guys?" He asked. Robin looked over and gave Wally a smile while Roy just waved back and looked back down at the book.

"Okay, you've take Pre-Calc right?" Robin asked. Roy snorted. "I wouldn't be here if I hadn't." He paused for a moment. "I hated that class..." Roy added, glaring at the floor. "Oi, you're glaring a hole in our carpet. Stop doing that and help me with this sine with the theta thingy afterwards," Dick commanded as Conner, Megan, and Artemis walked into the room. Megan and Artemis were arguing about something and Conner looked like he was tired of their talking.

All of a sudden, Robin sneezed, but it wasn't a normal sneeze. Oh no no no no, it was one of those cute baby kitten sneezes that make everyone coo. However, that wasn't the case with the team. They just stopped what they were doing and stared at the baby bat. Robin's cheeks turned red and he seemed to slouch down.

Wally, wanting to break the silence, hugged Robin to his side and spoke. "Hey Robin, can you help me with this one thing in Algebra?" Robin nodded and hurried out of the room with his textbook forgotten. Wally followed closely behind.

Once they got to Wally's room, said speedster opened up to the page the problem was on and gave the book to Dick. Robin sat on Wally's bed and read the problem as Wally got his notebook and mechanical pencil out.

"Okay Wally, since we need to find the total time needed for the cannonball to take a full parabolic arch, we have to use the quadratic formula. Do ya remember what that is?" Dick started off. Wally nodded and started signing in a bad voice.

"X equals negative B, plus or minus the square root of, B squared minus four AC, all over two times A," Wally told the bat. Dick looked at him surprised than gave him a 'not bad' face before continuing on.

"So, now we substitute all the numbers in for the letters. Since the bottom of a faction can't have a negative, we have to transfer the minus sign to the top, making both the top and bottom of the faction positive since the square root has a plus or minus." Dick continued, slowing down a bit as Wally wrote down the formula and took away the minus.

"Then, once we have simplified it down, we have two cases; one where it is 239-259.9095997 divided by 32 and one where it is 239+259.9095997 divided by 32 and we have to solve each one. However, since we cannot have negative time, we don't use -0.6534. So, we have 15.59 seconds. That's the time it takes for the cannonball to make a parabolic arch. Now, we have to plug that 15.5909 in for T in h(t)=87T." Dick said, turning his head to look Wally dead on only to have their lips barely brush. Dick's cheek went bright red. Wally smirked and was about to say something, but Dick interrupted him by talking again.

"When you plug it in, you should get 1,356.41 feet. But, that's not the answer since the question asks if the cannonball would hit the water. Since 1,356 is less than 2,000, then the answer to the question is 'no, the cannonball doesn't hit the ship.'" Dick looked back down at the book, trying to avoid eye contact with Wally. Wally smirked to himself as Dick closed the book and got off the bed.

"Well, if that's all you needed help with, then I should get back to the living room. I need some help on my trigonometric ratios," Robin said nervously as Kid Flash got up from the bed. Every step Wally took forward was another step Dick took backwards until the hit the wall. Dick was blushed as Wally trapped him to the wall with his hands on either side of his head.

Wally leaned forward and smirked at Dick. The bat simply blushed harder. With the extra tint to his cheeks, Robin leaned in and pecked Wally's lips quickly- or so he thought. The moment their lips touched, Wally dropped his hands from the sides of Dick's head to grip the bird's waist, pushing back towards the wall. Dick decided he didn't want to stand still as his crush was kissing him and slung his arms around Wally's neck, closing his eyes.

One kiss turned into two and two turned into three and so on until both boys were making out against the wall. All of this was happening as Roy was sitting in the living room with a Pre-Calculus textbook in his lap.

Tada! I finished! Sorry it took so long, I kept telling myself that I'm going to write it today, but then I end up with crap tons of homework and quiz after quiz. =_= HELP ME. I'M DROWNING IN HOMEWORK

Anyway, with that said, bye!
