*4 Years Later*

A'Lyric's POV

It's been four years since the incident that changed my life. I'm no longer a virgin (my choice) and I now have a four year old son named Malik. We moved from the neighborhood where I was sexually assaulted. Not far, but I needed to start fresh. The girl that found me in the alley, Waylah, has been my best friend since.

When I found out I was pregnant by "Jay", I was devastated. I wanted nothing to do with my child. I was 13 and only in the 8th grade. But it wasn't the child's fault so I went through with the pregnancy.

But that was the past. I'm seventeen years old, in my senior year of high school. I'm 5'1 and caramel skinned. My identical twin sister is the same height as well. I live with my mom, my twin sister and my son in a mini mansion in St.Louis, Mo.
