Third POV

It's been over a year now since the whole 'Kur' business started and now Goldie was meeting Wadi and Ulraj for the first time. It's Zak's 13th birthday and his parents threw a surprise party which scared Goldie to find out Zak had friend that Zak forgot to mention. He smiled as he watch Zak try to flirt with Wadi. Giving a light chuckle there were no news spikes ever since Argost has been defeated and killed. Vincent was no longer with them but Spring was there with them trying to fit in as best as he can. Wadi was flat out ignoring Zak and only talked to Ulraj and Zak saw that.

"What's the matter Wadi, Ulraj?"
"You have been avoiding us for the past year not even thinking on visiting us"
"I'm sorry guys I had so much going on and-"
"If we were you friends then you would at least get in contact with us and tell us what was going on"

Goldie saw that their argument was getting them nowhere as he teleported in front of Wadi and let out a low chuckle.Wadi and Ulraj both jumped backwards as Goldie's eyes landed on them. He crossed his arms and smiled.

"Do you think Zak had anytime to get a hold of you guys as we were chased by the secret sciencetist and being hunted by Argost and also the Naga's. You better rethink on what comes out of that pretty little mouth of yours"
"Uh....... guys meet Goldie my adobtive older brother. He's a soul in a humanimatronic he and his friends have been overprotective of me for the past year.........he may seem scary but really he's just a giant teddy bear"
"Wow his eyes are very strange indeed........ hate to ask this but are you from the future...........What my people have different perspectives of machines that look more closer to humans than anything else........"

Goldie cracked a smile before laughing as he took his jacket off and stretched. His off white long sleeve shirt was long so he rolled them up and placed his hands on his hips. Smiling like an idiot Goldie teleported behind Zak and picked him up and suspended himself in the air before giggling and teleporting again only for Ulraj to be knocked to the ground and Komodo snatched the kelp necklace from around Ulraj's neck.

"What how I didn't sense you at all"
"Like I said Ulraj he's an humanimatronic they don't give off much heat nor smell...... you're at a disadvantage with Goldie. He can sense anything from miles around and each one has a special ability which Goldie can teleport to anywhere he wants"
"Now that's cool so where are the others"
"They're inside baking Zak a birthday cake"
"Wait they can do that?"
"Zak if you don't remember we were built for parties and a pizzeria place"
"Oh right sorry I forgot"

Zak scratch the back of his head as Wadi walked off to where Drew and Doc was standing. She sat at the table and watch as Doc cooked on the grill. Bonbon came running out of the airship with pre-made hamburgers and handed the tray to Doc. Doc smiled as Bonbon set the tray down then left back into the airship. Freddy jumped out of the opening and ran up to Zak and covered his eyes.

"What's going on, Freddy?"
"The cakes done and we're surprising you with it"
"Oh okay I guess that's a good reason"

Freddy whistled as Fred and Bonnie carried out the cake. Mangle was jumping up and down as Bonbon carried something behind his back. Fred and Bonnie set the cake down in front of Zak as everybody started singing the birthday song.

Freddy uncovered Zak's eyes as he stared in awe at the cake. It was well done and made for the perfect occasion. 

Zak closed his eyes before blowing out the candles and everybody cheered. A smile proudly on his face. Freddy hugged Zak before running over to Bonnie and hugging him as well. Mangle took out a camera and started taking pictures. Mari sat by himself in puppet form watching everybody from afar. Zak sneezed as Goldie took some frosting from the cake smack cam'd Zak leaving his face full of cake. Everybody started laughing. Spring shook his head and handed Zak a napkin. But when Zak tried to grab it Komodo came right up and started licking his face since Zak had fallen onto his butt in the wave of force. Zak laughed as Komodo licked his face and Spring shook his head again. Though Vincent may be gone Spring had became Bi-polar and sometimes can't control his emotions. So he tries to keep calm when it's a peaceful moment with worry like a care-taker for everybody. 

With that everybody was going home well only Wadi and Ulraj were as Drew took them home. Doc and everybody else just relaxed in the airship. The secret scientist haven't bothered them for weeks now. Which was a good thing to think about. Zak laid down on the bed when Bonbon rushed into his room and smiled like an idiot at Zak.

"Oh hey Bonbon what's up?"
"You forgot your birthday present from all of us, here"

Bonbon set a box wrapped in colorful paper on Zak's lap and everybody showed up into his room waiting for him to open the present. Zak carefully undid the paper and opened the box. There laid nothing but a necklace. Zak raised an eyebrow as he picked it up out of the box. It was shaped as the sign meant for Kur. A rotated "C" with a short line that connected with a circle.

"We channeled a little bit of power from each one of us into making that it was Axel's idea and he said that each soul you retrieve that you save that'll be the key to the room inside your mind. He made that personally for you and all we had to do was channel our soul's essence into it for whenever he are killed by a shadow we retreat into your mind and whenever you need one of us you can just call our names and we'll be there in physical form. He already have Foxy, Chica and Chici do the same so now you can call them at anytime when we are not together and you need help."
"Really he did that just for me"
"Yup a perfect gift for you as Mari gave us the gift of life for us"

Zak smiled as Spring smiled and handed him a long coat. It was big but Spring whispered saying its for him when he gets older. Zak smiled and tried the jacket on anyways. He stood up but the ends were dragging behind him as the sleeves were too long. Everybody giggled and they all hugged Zak before leaving the room. Zak laid back down and put the necklace on before falling asleep. 

Dream.....................

"Axel are you here?"
Zak looked around for Axel as he started walking in his dream scape. Coming apon the door . His necklace was in his hand as it turned into a key. He unlocked the door as he walked in Foxy ran up to him and hugged him.
"Aye be so glad to see ya mate. Happy birthd'y matey."
"Thanks Foxy have you seen Axel anywhere"
"Looking for me Zak?"
Zak turned around to see Axel in his nightmare form and he smile. He ran up to him and gave Axel a big hug.
"Thanks for the key to this room Axel....... But I want to know everything.......Vincent said that you had all the answers to my questions....... I want to protect everyone I need to know"
"Alright Zak but I suggest we sit down for I can explain everything that you want to know"
Zak looked around and saw a few chairs over by the chest with the two locks. Zak walked over to the chairs and Axel sat down and sighed. His expression changed to a serious manner. He leaned forward as Zak sat comfortable in the chair and waited for Axel to say something.
"Zak I know that its going to be hard to understand but your powers can do so much more than what we have been telling you. I have read all your questions and I understand why you are asking these. It's true that you can summon us from this room with your key but it comes at a cost. You have to be able to summon an inner weapon before you can learn how to summon us. But the bad truth is that you can only learn that once you find Francis' head or else it would be pointless to do so. I hope that you can take on the hardships that each memory brings cause it'll be harder from the last. And once you have found Baby's head both your old memories and your new ones will merge and become one. I only wish for you to take it head on and don't back down.......Your soul is stronger than your parents and I hope you can exceed the tests that are thrown at you. Do you now understand Zak why Vincent said what he said?"
"Yes I do Axel and I'll do my best you can count on it...... Besides I'm a Saturday and a Saturday can make it through anything that is thrown our way"
Axel smiled and stood up. Zak did the same as Axel rubbed the top of Zak's head. The white star moving with the motion. Zak walked out the door waving to everyone and ran till everything began to fade. Meaning he was waking up.

End Dream.........................

Zak opened his eyes to see Fisk and Komodo in his room arguing.

"What's going on you guys?"

They stopped their bickering and just pointed to his bedroom door. Confused on why till Bonbon came flying into the room unconscious. His inner weapon disappeared as he fainted crying. Zak jumped off his bed and ran out into the hallway. There was a shadow to his left but he quickly dodged the attack. He ran calling Goldie's name. He saw his parents unmoving and Zon trying to break the glass as shadows surrounded her. Zak grabbed the claw before activating his powers. The shadows stopped and looked at him their eyes glowing orange. Slowly he pointed the end of the claw towards the walls as they followed the gesture. They disappeared as Zak ran towards his parents. 

He shook them but they did not wake up. Then Zak took in the details pieces of skin were missing as well as their eyes. He screamed which caught the attention of Bonnie who was running towards Zak in the first place. He ran into the kitchen to see Zak crying and shaking in the corner. Bonnie took notice to the dead bodies of Drew and Doc but had more important tasks to perform. Bonnie strapped his guitar to his back then crouched in front of Zak. Zak looked up at Bonnie before latching onto him and sobbing uncontrolable'y. Bonnie embraced him into a hug and picked Zak up and ran out of the kitchen trying his best to avoid the shadows. Bonbon soon joined him but with several injuries. The cryptids followed close behind due to begin afraid of the shadows. Axel showed up as a shadow and cleared a path straight to the others. Axel gave a frown towards them before disappearing. Sounds of screams came from behind them, realizing the shadows were being killed by their two shadows quickier than anything else.

Bonnie held onto Zak with a death grip till they reached the room. Goldie was shouting as the shadows tried to surround Doyle and Van Rook. But luckily Freddy and Fred whacked them away and started to kill them one by one. Mari was tying them up before pulling his strings killing them all that were in his strings. Everybody was holding up until a shadow appeared behind Mangle and slashed her in half. She quickly turned to ash as the others ate the ashes. (A/N that's just nasty and weird anyways back to the story) Zak looked away from Bonnie's chest to see a shadow running at them. Before Zak could even shout Bonnie put him in Bonbon's arms and pulled his guitar in front of him. Playing a few strings a blast erupted from the top and blasted the shadows away disappearing for good. Zak was shocked as Bonbon slashed a few more shadows while holding Zak in one hand and his weapon in the other. (A/N just for you know the way Bonbon is holding Zak it's like this)

Zak watch as each shadow was destroyed and they retreated back outside. Doyle ran over to Zak and hugged him. He checked all over him seeing if the shadows had harmed him. Tear stains stained his cheeks as Doyle looked at Bonnie.

"I hate to say this but Drew and Doc was killed by the shadows..... I was too late to save them.......I'm sorry"
"No Purple-Bunny it's not your fault it was a surprise attack. This isn't right but don't worry mini-man I'll take care of you no matter what"

Zak hugged Doyle as Van Rook looked at his hand and gasped. Goldie looked over at Van Rook's hand and his eyes widened. There in the middle of his hands there was a purplish-green. Gasping he pulled something out of his pockets and grabbed onto his hand and pulled the cap. He poured it on the palm of his hand. Almost immediately the area cleared within seconds. Van Rook looked at his hand in amazement. Goldie smiled before checking on everybody. He discovered that Mangle has been slain by a shadow but now rests in Zak's mind. 

"Let's get moving we have three more heads to find. And we better move fast Mari you hid Ballora's head now it's your turn to tell us the location of her head."
"Alright let's get moving"
"Me and Van Rook will be driving the airship from now on alright"

Goldie nodded his head as Mari went with them and disappeared from sight. Zak ran up to Goldie and started sobbing in his embrace. Gently rubbing Zak's back Goldie told the others to start cleaning up the airship and gather any supplies that weren't damaged. Goldie picked Zak and laid down on the couch in the mini living room and closed his eyes trying to stay calm and be collective for his younger adobtive brother. 

Three weeks later.............................

Zak ran to Ballora's head and picked it up. *Oh good you have found me...... Now are you ready to know more about your past Kur...........Now let's begin* Once again Zak feel into unconscious and felt himself being sucked to the past.

10001 B.C................................Kur's/Zak's POV

I opened my eyes to see T'sul Kalu standing above me. He held my daily robe out for me. I sensed his urgency and got out of my bed. Putting on my robe I followed T'sul Kalu where Morris was waiting impatiently for my arrival. What is it now?

"Morris what is it now?"
"These humans are starting to get really annoying why won't you get rid of this stupid human race Kur"
"And how many times have I told you that I respect all forms of life Morris........ I am the king and you are just a lord you cannot course my decisions...... Your not in my inner council to be making those decisions...... Out of my castle till you change your attitude do you got me Morris"

My powers fail around me and I watch as T'sul Kalu fall to the ground coughing as Morris coward'd in the corner of the thrown room. He nodded his head before retreating out of the room. I let my power die down and tended to T'sul Kalu. This human was once a slave that was sold to me for a sacrifice from me passing by their village.  The poor boy was scared of me but as I traveled and worked up to this position he has been by my side forever now. I love his loyalty he displays for me. He has been here ever since I wasn't the king of this world. But all humans age and die. But maybe their must be a way to have T'sul Kalu survive for much more than three human life spans. 

I pull out my spell book and looked through it finding the right spell. But as each life span past he'll lose his humanity which T'sul Kalu can understand more than anyone. With quick mumbles of the sacred words as T'sul Kalu but it quickly died down. I smiled before passing out since it takes a lot to put into one spell. 

End of Flashback..............................Back to Third POV

Zak opened his eyes and destroyed the head as he did with Toxic's head.  He turned around and he walked away from the place but before he could get far a shadow cam out of nowhere but Mari blocked the shadows attack. Instead of getting the attack himself Zak saw Mari die before him as Zak's eyes got dull for a moment before brimming with tears. He had lost more than enough of his family that he can't even sob anymore and break in front of people. Goldie put a hand on Zak's shoulder and patted it. He knows the pain but he's use to it while Zak is still young and innocent.  

"Zak we're almost done just Francis' and Baby's left"
"Yeah I know the more we get closer to the truth the more faster we can defeat this evil and I can rest for a little bit right"
"Yes now come on let's head back to the airship before Uncle Doyle gets worried"
"Yeah lets go Goldie"

Zak and Goldie walked towards the airship and Zak yawned while walking towards the airship. Due to recent events Zak hasn't able to get rest all that much. His body starts faint as Goldie turned around quickly and caught Zak and carried him to the airship to rest....................

Midnight: It has been 3000 words 
Zak: What its over already
Midnight: it's okay Zak I'll make an epilog for the next book and I need to work the other stories before I can go on with the second book
Doyle: I hate you for making my sister dying
Midnight: sorry it had to be done
Doyle: Whatever
