Ryu's POV

Walking to the stores I was. Takoyaki is what need right now. Money is in a good amount.
Saw the stall, target acquired.

Walking through the crowd professionally until I saw the food stall itself. Getting distracted while walking is not a good thing especially in big crowds. Cuz the worst thing you could do is bump into som- well speak of the devil.

This is red alert. Not did I just bumped into someone, I bumped into my mom.

"Eh? Ryu? What the hell are you doing here?" She said.

"That's my line, mom."

"Anyways, aren't you supposed to like be on guard or something?" I asked.

"Well, we have breaks too Ryu. Don't cha think that heroes like us should take a break for a while?" Mom said. Then I gave her a unsatisfied look.

"What? I still do work in America!
And there's more crime over there than here ya know." She sighed.

"Okay then, I'm gonna get food now." I said turning to the Takoyaki stand's direction.

"Geez kid, have your livestreams gone popular or something yet?"

I was shocked at the sentence, I mean she knows that I livestream but it's rather sudden to hear that out of the blue.

"Do you watch my livestreams?"

"Not really, but good thing that your making money out of it."

"People like me and I don't know why."

A simple thing I guess people want more, I'll make more.

"Now go eat, ya lizard." She said shooing me away.

"Okay, mom." I replied then running into the line for the food.

"Finally you're here, you dipshit." Ayaka's there sitting at a table.

"I ran into my mom." I said looking despised remembering what happened.

"Yeah yeah whatever, whatcha having there?"

"Takoyaki, they're really good I assure you. How bout you?"

"Ramen, spicy too."

"Cool, I wonder if we're gonna fight each other though."

"Yeah, I hope we do."

Silence happens when we both ate. I look at my phone, checking the time. 10 minutes left till the next event starts. Decent amount of time, we both finished our foods already anyways.

"Hey, let's go back to the stadium. There's 10 more minutes." I said.

"Yeah, let's go."

"Since the break has finished, let's continue with the third event!" Present Mic said from the commentary box.

"Okay everyone! Draw lots for the pairings! When that's done there's some festivities to attend. Let's start with the first team..."

"Um, excuse me, can I... resign from the event?" Ojiro said making everyone shocked.

"The calvary battle... I don't have any memory of it. Maybe because of his quirk... I know it's a great opportunity and all... I know it's stupid to throw that kind of chance away but this final tournament... everyone got here with their own strengths, yet I'm standing here without knowing how or why. I just can't take it."

"Woah woah there Ojiro, your taking this too hard! Just show them what you got in the tournament." Said Hagakure who is wearing a... cheerleading outfit.

"No, I'm talking about my pride here... I don't think it's right... and why are you girls wearing those?" Ojiro wiped a tear from his eye.

"I-I can't remember anything either, I want to withdraw. Letting those who didn't do anything advance... doesn't it defeat the whole thing about the Sports Festival?" Said someone I don't know.

"I think so too... let me withdraw too." Aoyama was rather wordless since the both of them stole his words.

"We have a strange turn of events here, what will the coordinator, Midnight say?" Present Mic commentated.

"How innocent..." Midnight has put on her sadistic face. It's scary.

"I LIKE IT!" She said whipping the whip.

"Now that's what I call a turn of events."

"Ojiro, Shoda and Aoyama are officially withdrawn!!" She shouted.

"So who's gonna replace these competitors? Anybody from fifth place?"

Only a hand was raised, and it was the metal man.

"Two more! Anybody from sixth?"

Ayaka's hand and mine shot up like a bullet.

"Okay! That settles it! Tetsutetsu, Chieko and Tokage are in! Now let's draw the lots!"

"Yeah, since my battle is up first."

"You have notes on everyone?"

"Yeah! Even you too!" He showed me a page dedicated to me and my quirk.

"Pretty accurate but there's more into it." I said, and making him excited.

"Woah! Really! Tell me about it one day!"

"Sure, maybe after the Sports Festival."

"Yeah. We gotta get ready for our fights!"

"I wonder who's the strongest?"
