~9 days later~

Lucario sighed and looked at Inuyasha as he was writing something down. "Lucario? What's up?" Inuyasha asked, as he looked over. "It's nothing..." Lucario said as he looked away.

"Liar...You couldn't look at me in the face when you lie...Now, tell me what's up?" Inuyasha said as he setted the pen down, walked over, and sat down next to Lucario.

"Inuyasha? Do you remember that day, when you found me injured and took me here so I can get my injuries tended to and stay here with you?" Lucario asked. Inuyasha nodded.

"Well...2 months ago, I got kidnapped....I was tied up and then was beaten harshly...I was treated like I was garbage...And something that shouldn't have been born or even existed...

But, one night...I managed to escape...Those kidnappers woke up and immediately found out what I was trying to do and started to beat me up again..."

"...Then they broke my leg, causing me to scream in pain, and then abandoned me after they left...I was in really bad pain but I had to keep moving so I can get back to you...

I eventually had to stop and rest against the Sakura tree for the night until you found me the next day..." Lucario explained.

"...I began to look for you because I...wanted to become your mate...I couldn't stop thinking about you...And I was starting to really like you..." Inuyasha looked at Lucario, surprised by this, as he listened.

Then Inuyasha's gaze softened a little as he continued to look at Lucario.

"...I...I...I wanted to be with you more than anything in the world...Please, don't be mad and abandon me too...

I don't want to be alone anymore and I wanted to stay by with you...No matter what it takes...

This is actually the truth..." Lucario continued as tears started to appear in his eyes and then rolled down to the sides of his face.

Inuyasha looked at Lucario and then gave him a hug as he started to shush him gently.

"It's okay...I'm not mad at you...I completely understand what you're saying...And I feel the same way about you too...

I wanted to see you too and have you become my mate...I was starting to fall in love with you..." Inuyasha said, as he started to rub Lucario's back gently.

Lucario started to cry as he buried his face in Inuyasha's chest.

Inuyasha gave Lucario a warm, gentle smile as he looked at him.

After Lucario stopped crying, Inuyasha smiled again and wiped the tears out of Lucario's eyes for him.

Then Lucario looked up at Inuyasha. "Do you really mean it from what you said, Inuyasha?" Lucario asked.

Inuyasha nodded his head. "I really do mean it, Lucario..." Inuyasha said.

Then he kissed Lucario on the lips. Lucario blinked for a moment and then shut his eyes as he began to enjoy the kiss Inuyasha was giving him.

Then Inuyasha removed himself from Lucario after a few minutes and looked at him as he rested his hand on Lucario's shoulder.

"Lucario...I think you are very special to me...But, it's not only that...I also think you're very cute...

You have all sorts of different personalities that I really like about you...so...yeah...I love you so much..." Inuyasha said.

Lucario blushed a little bit as he looked at Inuyasha's face. "Inuyasha's so cute when he does that face..." Lucario thought.

"From here on out, you and I are mates..." Inuyasha said, as he nipped Lucario by the neck.

Lucario looked at Inuyasha as he started blushing in embarrassment again.

After Inuyasha removed himself from Lucario's neck, there on his neck was a pink Sakura flower in place.

Lucario touched the Sakura flower mark (that was on his neck) as he looked at Inuyasha.

"You...marked me? Why?" Lucario asked. Inuyasha smiled. "It's to let other people know that you're my mate...Why else?" Inuyasha explained.

"Oh...Okay...I'll do it to you too...I see what you're saying..." Lucario said as he leaned in over to Inuyasha's neck and nipped him too.

Once Lucario was finished marking Inuyasha, he moved away from Inuyasha to reveal a white star (with a blue sphere inside it) on Inuyasha's neck.

Inuyasha's mating mark from Lucario. "Now, it's official...We're now mates." Inuyasha said.

Lucario gave Inuyasha a hug as he was held close. "Thank you so much for this, Inuyasha...Now, I can be happy with you forever..." Lucario said as he cried a little with joy.

Inuyasha kissed Lucario on the cheek. "It's alright...I'm happy as you are too..." Inuyasha chuckled softly.
