the boys woke up to the sounds of sneezing and coughing.
they come out of their rooms and quickly notice that tae isn't with them.

"oh my. do you think tae is sick?" hoseok asks in sadness.

whenever the brunette gets sick, well...
he gets really quiet or cranky. he'll hug and cuddle all day.
ask for food and sleep all the time.
obviously that's good, but he hates taking the medicine.
apparently, to him, it tastes horrible.

"let's go check on him." jin says and walks to the little's room with the rest trailing behind.

jin carefully opens the door to tae's room and peeks in.
inside he sees a scene that makes him sadder than he already is.

tae was wrapped in the blankets whilst hugging his stuffies.
he was curled up in a ball and surrounded by all 5 of his large pillows.
and tae was shivering like crazy although the air conditioner wasn't turned on.

jin opens the door wider to let the rest see and they all look at each other and sigh with sadness.

suddenly tae wakes up and hugs himself.
clear, crystal tears start falling down his face.
his mouth in a sad pout while a stuffie in his hands.

"d-dada." the poor boy whispers.

yoongi immediately runs to the younger's side.
tae crawls over to the older and clings onto yoongi.
yoongi flinches when the younger touches him.

'he's burning up.' yoongi mouths to the boys as he soothingly rubs the brunette's back.
the boys exchange shocked looks thinking as to what caused this.

tae shivers harshly under yoongi and the older tightens his hold on tae, grabbing a blanket and wrapping it around tae.

"d-dada, i'm c-cold." tae whispers while shivering violently.

"i know honey bun. let's go take a nice hot shower, shall we?" yoongi whispers into Tae's ear.

when he feels a nod from tae, he picks the younger up and walks to the bathroom.
jin had left to make them breakfast and tae a bowl of soup.
jimin and jeongguk went to get some medicine.
namjoon and hoseok went to have a shower.

in the bathroom, yoongi sets the heater to the highest and let's tae feel it.

"is it okay honey bun?" yoongi asks.

the younger of the two nods and gets in.

after a nice hot shower, yoongi carries the boy to his room to dress him.
yoongi dresses him up in warm clothes.

"here baby, put this on, dada's gonna go take a shower okay honey bun?" the blond haired male asks sweetly, even using two of his nicknames in his sentence.

tae nods and gives his dada a small smile.

yoongi goes out the room and hops into the shower.
tae changes quickly into his clothes.
he grabs a stuffie and walks out his room and into the living room.

Once everyone had a shower, they go into the living room to find a cute scene.

Tae was wrapped inside a large pink blanket and a stuffie in his hands.
He just looks so small and cuddly.

Jin walks over and sits beside him.

"Sweetie, breakfast is ready." Jin says softly.

Tae looks at Jin and clings onto him.
Jin takes this as a sign to carry him and so he does.
Jin carries Tae to the table and sets him down on the chair.

Tae looks in front of him and pouts.

"What's wrong love?" Jimin asks the pouting boy.

"Why I got soup but Hyungs and dada got bweafast muffis?"

The boys chuckle at the cuteness of their baby.

"It's because you're sick pumpkin." Namjoon says and ruffles Tae hair.

Tae pouts even more and reluctantly tries his soup.
The rest waiting on how Tae will react to the taste.

"I taste nothing." Tae whines.

"That's because you're sick darling." Hoseok says.

"But-but, I don't wanna be sick, I don't wanna be not normal." Tae whines and hugs his stuffie.

Suddenly he let's out a big sneeze that got him shivering violently.

"K-Kookie h-hyung." Tae tugs on Jungkook's arms, who was sitting beside him.

"What is it baby bear?"

"I-I'm c-cold." Tae stretches out his arms for Jungkook to hug him.

See what I mean by cuddly and a craver for hugs? ;)

Jungkook grabs Tae and Tae laches himself on.
And Jungkook had the job of feeding Tae his breakfast.
Not without constant whines of it being tasteless and sneezes.

The whole day was spent with the boys taking turns in cuddling with Tae.
Well, mostly Tae sleeping.
He was actually getting better.
Not much sneezes or coughs.
His temperature was going down.
And he was talking more.

But now, it's time for him to take his medicine.
Which is a nightmare for Tae.

Jungkook, who was cuddling with Tae, has to break the news that Tae was going to have to take his medicine.

"Baby bear." Jungkook says softly at the sleeping Tae.

Tae hums and snuggles into Jungkook's chest.

"You need to take your medicine my little petal."

Tae opens his eyes and shakes his head.

"No hyung. I don't wanna." Tae reasons.

"No petal. You need to, if you wanna be normal and not be sick."

Tae looks down.

Jungkook lifts his head up with two fingers.

"I promise it'll taste fine and you'll be better in no time."

"Umm. Okay." Tae reluctantly nods.

Jimin brings the medicine to Tae and Jungkook.
It was a syrup.
He had already had the pill earlier which was okay with him.

Jimin pours out some syrup on a spoon and Tae gulps.

"Open up love." Jimin says.

Tae opens his mouth slowly and gulps the syrup.
As soon as he swallows it, he sticks out his tongue.

"EWWWWW." Tae shouts.
"That is howible!"
Jimin and Jungkook burst out in laughs.

At least Tae was okay a few days later.
He was back to the loud, playful and energetic fluffball he is.
And the boys couldn't be more happier.

"ACHOO!" Jin sneezes loudly.

"Uh oh." Tae says and giggles.
