right at the start of the day, tae woke up in little space, which is quite normal.
but today was so different.

tae woke up but with a humongous black cloud over his head.
he woke up crying and wailing.

as soon as the boys heard his cries, they ran to his room.
they sit down on his bed.

"what's wrong darling?" hoseok asks softly.

tae looks at him with tears eyes and cries even louder.
the brunette is slowly slipping deeper and lower down his age.

he opens his eyes and makes grabby hands to jimin.

"m-minnie 'yung." tae says softly between sobs.

jimin goes over and picks tae from the bed.
the smaller hugs jimin's neck and cries softly in his shoulder.
the rest coos as the sight.

"what's wrong my little prince?" jimin asks tae.

tae slightly smiles when he hears his nickname.
he loves the nicknames that he's given.
especially jimin's.

"taetae h-have s-scawy d-dweam." tae says softly into jimin neck.

jimin looks at the rest of the boys.
the boys look at each other and go out of the room.

"do you wanna talk about it tae?" jimin asks as he rubs tae's back.

he feels tae shaking his head a no.

"okay bubba. whenever you're ready, i'm always here. okay my little prince?"

tae smiles a little and nods.

"now, let's go have breakfast shall we?" jimin asks.

the younger nods softly still hugging jimin's neck and a stuffie in his hand.

jimin walks out of the room with tae in his hands and sits down at the table.
everyone turns their attention to tae whom was sitting on jimin's lap.

"good morning sweetie ~" jin sings trying to lighten the mood.

tae looks up at jin through his wet eyelashes with his big doe eyes.
the boy tilts his head to the side with a confused look on his face.

"i think his little space age is really little now." jeongguk chuckles.

tae turns his attention to jeongguk and tilts his head the other side.

the rest of the boys chuckle at tae's behaviour.

"Was funny?" tae asks innocently.

"nothing pumpkin." namjoon says and smiles.

tae pouts. "Dada say, no lie."

yoongi chuckles and ruffles the smaller's hair.
tae looks at yoongi all smiley.

"i did say that didn't i honey bun?"

tae nods vigorously.

"joonie hyung, why ish lie?" tae pouts.

"i'm sorry pumpkin. lying is bad." namjoon chuckles.

"Ish okay." tae reaches over to namjoon and kisses his nose.

"thank you pumpkin." namjoon says and touches tae's nose.

tae bursts out into a fitof giggles.
the rest of the boys laugh and start eating.
tae turns to jimin and points to his mouth.

"nummies."

jimin chuckles and kisses tae's forehead.

"okay little prince."

tae giggles again.

the boys can't help but feel warmth in their hearts with tae around.
they smile.

~ after breakfast ~

"come on little prince, let's go have a shower." jimin says and grabs tae's hand.

" gwape bubbles?" tae asks jimin while the older lifts tae up and places him unto a stool.

"sure my prince." jimin kisses tae's hand.

tae squeals and giggles.
soon, tae's in the bathtub and out in a flash.
obviously jimin came out a soaking wet mess.
but he didn't care, as long as tae had fun.

"now, let's get you dressed shall we?" jimin says and rummages through tae's closet.

jimin pulls out a shirt, some shorts and a pair of socks.
he smiles happily.
tae jumps into the outfit and smiles at jimin.

"Ish thish whas call me minnie hyung?" tae points to his shirt and looks at jimin.

jimin nods.

"what a smart little prince!" jimin exclaims.

Tae giggles.

come on, let's show your outfit to the rest!" jimin says and drags tae out of the room.

"hyung! lookie taetae shirt!" tae shouts and giggles.

the boys came to the living room where tae was clinging onto jimin.
the boys coo at the sight.

"tae, let go. i need to go have a shower. i'll be right back." jimin reasons with tae but the boy shakes his head.

"no 'yung. the monsers eat me." Tae whimpers.
jimin's expression softens.

"little prince?" jimin says but tae didn't look up.

jimin lifts his head with two fingers.
tae eyes were brimming with tears and that sight made jimin's heart clench.

"don't cry love, i'll leave you with dada and you'll be safe. i promise." jimin says reassuringly.

but tae wasn't having it.
he wanted jimin, and he was going to get him.
and as soon as jimin left the room to the bathroom.

tae starts wailing and sobs into yoongi's shoulder.
the older's heart breaks seeing tae cry.

"baby? don't cry honey bun. i'll keep you safe." yoongi says softly in tae's ears.

tae tries to stop and succeeds but still sniffles.

"d-dada. monsers so scarwy." tae says and hides his head in yoongi's neck tightening his hold.

yoongi kisses the brunette's forehead and tightens his hold as well.
yoongi starts to hum a lullaby and rocks the smaller.
tae's eyelids became heavier and heavier.
soon, he falls asleep.

right after, jimin walks out of the shower.
he sees the beautiful scene and smiles.
suddenly tae wakes up whimpering and tears flow down his face.

"d-dada. monsers come back." tae says and sobs.

yoongi rubs the younger's back.
tae catches a glimpse of jimin and immediately makes grabby hands.
jimin scoops tae up and pats his small head.

"don't cry my little prince. i'll shoo all the monsters away from my tae." jimin says and kisses tae's forehead.

tae looks and jimin and kisses his cheek

"h-hyung?"

"yes love?"

"sweepy." tae's voice getting softer.

"let's tuck you into bed." jimin says and walks to tae's room.

"stay wif Tae." tae whispers.

jimin chuckles. "okay love."

jimin lays tae down and him as well.
he wraps a protective arm around tae and pulls him closer to his chest.
the younger curls up into a ball in jimin's chest and hugs his stuffie tightly.

and that sleep was when tae didn't have any nightmares or as he says says ; 'scawy dweam'
