Closest To Your Heart~

While Alfred and Arthur were frolicking to their classes, someone was watching them from a window above.

"Would you look at that...it seems our little American friend didn't listen to your threat..." The mysterious one brushed their hair behind their ear and chuckled. "Ivan, make sure those two don't get too close to each other, okay?" The teen tapped their fingers on the windowsill before walking to their own classroom. Ivan watched the other leave the classroom and sighed, frowning.

Arthur hummed happily, he and Alfred had just parted ways. 'What am I going to do with that idiot'.he smiled. He had art today, with Feliciano. Arthur entered the classroom smiling, something the other students deemed as a rare occasion. The smaller Italian boy jumped with pure joy and ran up to Arthur.

"Ciao Arthur! What made you all smiley today!!!? Does Arthur have someone he likes! Can I meet her!? Can I! canicanicani!!??"

Arthur took a step back from the hyper Italian boy to regain some of his personal space, then calmly replied. "That, is classified information." Arthur patted the boy on the head, still smiling kindly. Arthur ignored the whines from the other and sat down in his usual seat. The teacher was out today, and a substitute took his place. On the white board at the front of the classroom it said, "draw something close to your heart".

"That shouldn't be too difficult." With all the materials already given to him, he picked up his pencil and began sketching his Mint Bunny. A few minuets later he was interrupted when a rather large hand was slammed onto his paper. Arthur sighed, his good mood faltering. "Excuse me, but that was incredibly ru-" He cut himself off when he saw who the hand belonged to. "Alfred?! What the hell are you doing here?!" Arthur, scolding him as usual, couldn't keep another smile from reaching his face.

"Awe, ya happy to see me? Hahaha, I knew you would! Well, I have photography right now! So I was told to go around and just take nice pictures! So I decided to come here." Alfred finished with a hug to the small Brit. "So whatchya drawin!?" Alfred looked to the picture of an oval with legs. "What the fuck."

"Nono, it's not done yet, I'm supposed to draw something close to my heart so I decided....Mint...Bunny."

Alfred pouted. "Wha! Why don't you draw me! I'm super cool and I'm special and....I'm close to your heart, right?!" Alfred kneeled next to Arthur's chair and frowned at him.

Arthur sighed, rolled his eyes, and flipped his paper over, then began to draw a head, presumably Alfred's. Alfred cheered in joy and grabbed the expensive camera that hung around his neck.
"Arthur, don't move." Arthur stayed silent and kept drawing. Alfred stood to the left of him, kneeling on one leg and looking at his cameras digital screen. After adjusting the focus and contrast he snapped a picture. "Perfect!!!" Alfred showed Arthur the picture, he looked majestic. Concentration was written all over his face, his shoulders slumped and his hair falling into his eyes. Arthur congratulated Alfred, for he seemed to be pretty good at photography.

Alfred replied. "Nah, I just take pictures of things that interest me the most~"

Arthur blushed slightly and turned back to his drawing. An hour and a half had passed, and the drawing was coming along greatly. It was Alfred, looking at the viewer with a happy smile, the one he always wore, but...more sincere. It was obvious at that point that it was Alfred he was drawing. Alfred jumped around excitedly and talked about how much of an awesome model he could be. Before the bell rang, the Feli decided to ask Arthur another question.

"Arthur? Do you think this looks bad?" He held up a very detailed painting of that German guy, Ludwig. When I say detailed, I mean DETAILED.

"Oh, it looks fantastic Feliciano! Why would you think it looks bad?" Arthur was amazed by the boys talent.

"Well, I just want it to be a good gift! For Luddy! Wha....what are you drawing Arthur?" The curious Italian walked closer trying to get a peek at Arthur's drawing. Arthur wasn't bad himself, it looked like a professional drawing.

Arthur tried to block the others view, but he tried too late. "Ve~ your special thing is Alfred?" For the supposedly dumb Italian he was quick to learn some things. He gasped. "IS ALFRED THE ONE YOU LIKE?!" The Italian shouted. Arthur blushed 10 shades of red before tackling the Italian, covering his mouth in a panic. "SHHHhhhhhhh." He whispered. "If you tell anyone about this, I'll tell everyone that you are head over pasta in love with Ludwig." Arthur threatened. The Italians eyes widened, something that you don't see every day. He nodded happily, being trusted with a secret for once. Arthur let him go, stood up, and turned around to see Alfred chuckling, with a blush of his own.

"Crazy, he is, huh?" Alfred said nervously. Arthur wrote his signature on the corner of the drawing and gathered his materials to put them away. Alfred looked at the drawing closely. "Wow, dude you are awesome at this! You didn't have me model or anything! How did you remember all that, like....you even got my sun freckles?" Alfred glanced at Arthur, the blush from earlier still present.

"Artists secrets." He smiled.

'...Wowzerz.' Alfred thought to himself before snapping a picture of Arthur smiling with his blush. "We got lunch now, do you want to...eat with me?"

Arthur bowed, smile still present on his face. "But of course~"
