Antony is lanky and strong, with dark unruly curls that attempt to hide his mother's striking sea-glass eyes. He definitely is more lean and toned than bulky and intimidating like his brother. He has a kindness to his eyes, despite his serious nature. He has pronounced forehead wrinkle and a wrinkle in-between his eyebrows from deep thought.

~◈ᑭᔕƳᑕᕼᗝᒪᗝǤᎥᑕᗩᒪ◈~
𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕪:
Antony had always been a terrible shy and reserved person. Flirting really isn't his area of expertise, and he's normally the one blushing around a woman. He hates himself for it, wishing he could be more of a charismatic person, a man, like his brother, who was capable of bewitching everyone in a five foot radius. Tony was always sensitive and quiet, a Mathew Cuthbert type if you will. He'll show his feelings with small, meaningful symbols, instead of outright professing his heart. It definitely takes a lot of poking and prodding in order to get the stubborn male to open up and talk about himself. He typically is a listener, asking questions to get to know the other person. Normally, his tactic works, but if someone wants to know more about him, he rarely opens up. Instead, he'll ask questions or have very obscure statements that always lead back to the other person.
Despite his shyness, around the right company, he'll be very boyish, making fun of things and being downright silly. Usually, around his guy friends, he'll make very crude jokes, simply because when it's about something not as crucial, he'll cave into peer pressure. He is quick witted, intelligent, and thoughtful, all of which make him someone that gives good advice.
Antony rarely lets his emotions dictate his life. Granted, that doesn't mean he is incapable of feeling emotions. On the contrary, he is a highly emotional person--he just never shows it. He's the type to pretend that he doesn't feel things, and only in private, will he show how something affected him. This allows him to stay levelheaded. He can make hard decisions on the spot, and will only let the repercussions hurt him later, in a moment where he doesn't have to appear strong for the sake of someone else.
𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖𝕤:
Antony loves the freedom and lack of responsibility his position had as second born. He loves sparring with his friends, riding his horse, and reading poetry. Antony isn't good at writing poetry, but he likes analyzing the lines, picking apart the meanings. He admires the talent and wishes he could possess such a way with words, but alas, he is very mediocre at majority of the things he does. He isn't a talented swordsmen, but he isn't a source of entertainment either. He's merely average, excellent in comparison to an amateur opponent.
𝕕𝕚𝕤𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖𝕤:
Antony hates the new role he finds himself in. He doesn't want to be his brother's replacement. He never wanted to be king. All the politics, the secrecy, the lies, Antony hates every aspect of it. Politics have never been his strong suit, simply because he is a very honest person. With politics, you had to keep your aces to yourself, you have to manipulate and take advantage of other people, corner them so they're forced to give you what you want. Antony isn't good at any of those things. He's too sensitive, too empathetic to be ruthless.
𝕤𝕥𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕘𝕥𝕙𝕤:
Antony is an observant person who notices the little things. He has a very sweet, boyish nature to him when the soft, romantic side of him is awakened. He's good with a sword, and he's quick on his feet. He's honest and resourceful, very good in an independent setting.
𝕨𝕖𝕒𝕜𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕖𝕤:
With his personality, it is a given that he's a terrible leader. Antony has the tendency to be very insecure, doubting himself, especially when he's expected to lead a large group of people. Independently, he's fine, but when other people's livelihoods are on the line, it is harder for him to be decisive. Antony is also very closed off, which often makes it hard for him to get close to people, or rather, for them to get close to him. Many people get easily annoyed with how reserved he is.
𝕗𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕤:
Antony is afraid that those he truly cares about are only loyal to him for the time being, until an opportunity presents itself in which they can stab him in the back and take the throne for themselves. He doesn't want the power, but he knows it's his responsibility to keep it in his bloodline.
He's also terrified of failure, failing his parents, his brother, his country. Antony doesn't want to be the person who ends up tearing his country apart. He doesn't want the responsibility he now has.
He's also terrified of turning into a monster, some unrecognizable, power thirsty ruler lacking a sense of morality and humanity.
𝕥𝕒𝕝𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤:
He's a trustworthy person, so anything you tell him he'll keep to himself. He also has an uncanny memory. Tony will remember anything and everything you've told him or done for him; both good and bad things.
He also notices the little things, which causes those he cares about to feel special and important, but more importantly, seen. He listens, he understands, and he sees.
𝕗𝕝𝕒𝕨𝕤:
Antony is terrible at opening up to people, and he often doesn't show outward emotion. He also is terribly insecure at times, only because he doesn't know what to do with all this power. He's constantly doubting himself and whether he's doing the right thing for the people. He doesn't want to be a selfish King.
𝕢𝕦𝕚𝕣𝕜𝕤:
His eyes often tell a different story than the rest of him. His body language might say something that contradicts with the expression in his eyes.
He is a pacer, and when he's incredibly overwhelmed, he'll grip something so tight his knuckles will turn white. Sometimes he'll smoke, but more often than not, he'll either go on a ride or he'll spar with Conrad.  He's the type to let his emotions out in activities rather than talk it out and pour his soul into another person.
Whenever he smiles, he usually hides his grin either by looking away, or if he's sitting, he'll cover his face with his hand.
When he's deep in thought, he'll furrow his eyebrows, causing a deep wrinkle to appear on his forehead and between his brows.
𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕒𝕝 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕥𝕙:
Antony is as stable as one can imagine. He has some PTSD from both the war and the raid, but it usually only occurs in his sleep. The sight of blood makes him nauseous, as he was the one to find his brother beheaded, and the scent brings him back to the moment. Sometimes, he'll suffer from insomnia, or the fear of falling asleep because he doesn't want to be transported back to those painful times.

𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪:
Growing up, Antony and Peter were thick as thieves. They were the best of friends, told each other everything, and were practically joint at the hip. However, as they got older, they both had to venture down separate paths, journeying without the other. Peter was destined to be king, taking over once their father died or if the old man decided to relinquish his hold on power and retire, whereas Antony was destined to be married off for political advantages. While Peter was learning the ways of a ruler, the sacrifices one had to make and such, Antony was trained as a soldier by the knights. The threat of war was constantly looming over their shoulders, and King Leopold figured it'd be a great message to the peasants and those civilians fighting alongside his knights that one of the King's own children fought alongside them. It would demonstrate a connection between the people and the king, a symbol that the crown was fighting alongside them. So, Antony trained and fought for his father and brother. Antony was never meant to be King. But everything changed when religious unrest plagued the kingdom. Protestants were tired of the tyranny they faced at the hands of Catholics, and they stormed the castle one evening. Obviously, there was a traitor among those working in the castle. No one could just slip past the fortress. During the raid, the protestants killed Peter and tried to off Antony as well. However, he was a trained soldier, and easily disarmed his assailants. Peter, on the other hand, wasn't as lucky. With Peter dead, and no other male heir to the throne, Antony had to take Prince Peter's place. His father is gravely ill (Antony is convinced the affliction is due to grief rather than King Leopold actually catching a fatal sickness), and so many of the advisors are preparing Antony to take over.

The Duke of Normandy
Eric and Antony have been friends since they were kids. He is his oldest friend, and they were really a trio with Peter. Unfortunately, they've lost touch over the years. However, the instant they are in each other's presence, they're the type of friends that, no matter how long they've been apart, it feels like no time has past.
Conrad Erikson
They fought alongside each other, and Conrad has become Antony's personal guard. It's his thankyou because Conrad saved his life in one of the wars. Plus, they really bring out the worst things in each other in the best possible way. Conrad keeps Tony young, boyish, and Tony keeps Conrad grounded.

Protestants, at the moment, considering that they murdered his brother and he slaughtered those that had done the deed. At least, those that he could find.
Politically, the Kingdom of Brunswick is constantly at war with the Kingdom of Channendell.
𝕡𝕒𝕤𝕥 𝕠𝕣 𝕔𝕦𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕥 𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕡𝕤:
Antony really doesn't have the time for such romances. However, when he was younger, he did have a soft spot for one of the maids. He never slept with her, only because he was highly aware of the importance of chastity for a woman. Really, it was all they had, especially if they were poor. Royals, those with a title, they had more leeway. But really, a woman's entire reputation and power lied in their chastity, whether they were pure or not. He never wanted to be the cause of her suffering because he was too impatient and selfish to care for her future. It was innocent, but it mattered a great deal to him--she mattered more to him than any person he had ever met (besides his siblings of course).

He was one of the king's knights, but he's now preparing to take over once his father dies.

Scenarios:
ONE--
You are Peter's betrothed, destined to be Queen. However, due to the recent tragedy, you have the option of marrying the brother or looking elsewhere for courtship. Your best bet of gaining the power of a Queen is to marry Antony, and you're family is pushing you to make it happen. In fact, they are forcing you to seal the deal, weasling their way to make your siblings friends with Antony in the hopes of further influencing him to take your hand. You are an ambitious person, especially politically, and are up to the challenge. But, you also have some moral values, and are aware of the wrongness of courting the brother so soon after Peter, your beloved, has died. Your hesitant, but you understand that your duty to your country comes first before moral highground. Today is a ball, in honor of Peter's passing, hosted by the Dubachs. You see Antony, standing rooted by a window, with his hand on the sill, gazing out into the expansive pensively. Before you can decide whether to approach him or pretend you weren't watching him, his azure eyes meet yours. They're more glassy than usual, and you realize you witnessed him in a moment in which raw emotion had captured him. Of course, you had heard rumors of his walls, and you knew that the sparkle in his eyes was the most intense public display of emotion he'd ever reveal. Much to your surprise, Antony stalked towards you, making his way with a sense of purpose you didn't expect him to have. For formalities sake, you courtseyed, perplexed at his move towards you. After all, you figured you were the one who was going to have to do all the heavy lifting when it came to forcing your paths to cross.
"I suppose I'm obligated to ask you to dance," his voice was low and soft, reminding you of a brook lazily flowing over rocks.
You....?

TWO--
You're the maid who was in love with Antony all those years ago. He was your first love. He captivated you with the subtlety of his gestures, the way he watched you. He made you feel special, worthy of taking notice upon. Of course, you're relationship, no matter how innocent, was wrong and scandalous, mostly on your behalf. As a Prince, Antony could get away with anything in the eyes of the public. You, on the other hand, if caught, would be seen as a whore, someone who enticed the Prince. You would be the criminal, the manipulator, rather than the man. It was how things opperated. However, it was worth the risk of your reputation. Antony was gentle with you, he cared for you so deeply it felt a crime for you to even think about ending things. He always made sure that you were okay, leaving you gifts, making sure you had enough money to take care of your family, anything he could do to make your life easier, he'd do. And he'd never ask for a thing in return, not your love, your innocence, nothing. He didn't even expect you to fall for him. In a way, he was a bit obsessed. He didn't like how others would look at you, but he had enough wits to suck it up and keep it to himself. He'd sometimes let his anger out on you, not physically, but he would raise his voice or ask questions, personal questions. But he'd always apologize the next day, guilt ridden due to the hold his jealousy had over him. As you got older, you wanted to show him you loved him the way adults did. But when he rejected you, you assumed he had fallen for some noble lady, that Tony had changed; that he was no longer the kind, gentle boy you had fallen in love with. You both grew apart as the years went on, as Tony went to war and you stayed working for the palace. You were there at the raid, and you had heard of what had happened. You knew it wasn't your place, but you had to see him, had to check up on him to make sure he was okay. You still cared for him. Your plan was to enter his room and leave him a note asking him to meet you at your childhood spot where you met in secret so many years ago. However, when you entered, you expected him to be gone, busy riding his horse as Conrad had told you he was doing. Instead, you caught him in front of the foot of his bed, gripping the footboard tightly. His back was facing towards you, and it was painfully tense. You thought he was angry, and started to quickly exit, not wanting to further enrage him. Unfortunately, for you, you tripped over your skirts, causing Antony to whirl around. His blue eyes were wild like his curls, except they were filled with fear. It took a second for him to recognize you.
"Y/N," he stuttered, before fiercely wiping at his eyes. "What are you doing here?" His voice was gentle, but gravelly, and you realized he had been weeping.
You....?
THREE--make it up
