Jenna is a terrible tall woman, and it doesn't help that her complexion makes her paler than Casper. She isn't particularly fond of her ghostly appearance, but she hopes her soul makes up for her lack of heart-throbbing features. She has platinum hair that ends above her bust that's usually a mess of waves, curls, and straight hair. It can never make up its mind, so her hair normally is thrown up in either a ponytail or bun. If she has time and feels special, she'll try to tame the confused mess. She has sharp, high cheekbones and a slightly upturned nose.

Jenna has a terribly weak immune system, so she gets sick pretty often. She has to take a lot of vitamins in order to try to counteract it and boost her immune system. She also has a nut allergy, which makes going out to eat much more of a hassle than it should be. It's one of the reasons she doesn't go out much.

𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕪:
A good way to describe Jenna is to think about a ghost. She's awfully quiet, too quiet for her own good. The most accurate way to describe her is to call her an introvert. She doesn't like loud, social settings, and Jen gets pretty overwhelmed when hanging out with a large group of people. So no, she's not really a party person. When she's in such a situation, she subconsciously checks out and alienates herself from everyone else, finding solace in the fringes of a room. During such times, she'll pretty much observe everything else going on around her, practicing being mute. One on one, her more talkative side comes out, but it does take some coaxing. However, she loves to listen to other people. She's the type of person to ask the most bizarre but thought provoking questions. She likes focusing on anything other than herself, which often leads to her deflecting the conversation onto another person. Often times, this makes other people feel discouraged or selfish because she has the habit of uncovering all the information about another person without divulging anything about herself. Because of this, most of her relationships fail. Communication is key to a successful relationship, but if Jenna's involved, you can kiss that goodbye. As a bottler, she is incredibly good at masking her true feelings, and to get her to express herself, you have to fight tooth and nail to get it out of her. She's a difficult person because she keeps herself so closed off. However, she's a thoughtful person, and her small acts make people stay. She's the type of person to remember the most insignificant details, and when she shows her appreciation for people in small ways, it indicates that she not only cares, but she notices. Jenna knows how to make people feel seen without having to give a boisterous speech. She makes her presence known in small deeds. Being extremely perceptive, she notices when someone's the slightest bit off immediately. It's simply because she always had a keen sense of detail. Jenna often gets caught up in the little details, which makes her incredibly blind to the bigger picture. Unfortunately, this makes her have unbelievably high standards for herself and paves the way for more of an obsessive personality.
𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖𝕤:
Jenna likes taking pictures. She loves photography, always has. After all, a picture can say a thousand words. Snuggling in a bunch of blankets with a cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate with a good book or show by the fire is her favorite activity. It is why she loves late fall and early winter so much. It's a peaceful time of the year where people are quieter, and everything feels less chaotic. Jenna loves hiking, being alone with her thoughts, and one sided conversations. She loves asking people questions and learning about other people. She loves journalism and creative outlets.
𝕕𝕚𝕤𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖𝕤:
Conflict--conflict of any kind makes her both anxious and frustrated. Jenna is a pushover, and she'll compromise her own morals and feelings if it means that she can avoid an argument. She doesn't like disturbing the peace. Jenna also can't stand crowded places and being in a room filled with a lot of people. She hates asparagus, disappointing people, and her social anxiety. She knows she lets it dictate her life more than is healthy. She is claustrophobic and detests how bad she is in relationships. Once things start to get serious, she freaks out and ends things prematurely. With friendships, she's fine, but it's with romance that she gets terrified.
𝕤𝕥𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕘𝕥𝕙𝕤:
Jenna is an amazing photographer. Her eye for detail allows her to capture images in a way that makes the simplest action look more meaningful. She is also an incredible listener, and she knows the right questions to ask. It's her way of making people feel important and listened to. She's a creative person and will find small ways to make her presence known, which shows how much she cares .
𝕨𝕖𝕒𝕜𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕖𝕤:
This woman is TERRIBLE at communication. She rarely opens up about herself, which explains her series of failed relationships. Jenna simply never tells people how she feels or what she's thinking. It's what makes her such a difficult person to be in a relationship with. She also is a pushover and a people pleaser. She tells people what they want to hear and will do anything if it means she'll avoid conflict.
𝕗𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕤:
She hates change, even the smallest things. It scares her because she feels as though everything will be different. She always associates change with bad things, hence why she's always stuck in the same habits.
Arguments also terrify her because she always thinks that if someone's mad with her then everything is over. She is an insecure person by nature. So if someone is mad, she thinks they're going to leave her.
𝕥𝕒𝕝𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤:
Her photography skills are incredible. It's her creative outlet, and when she's overwhelmed, she'll leave for hours and just take pictures. She's a shower not a teller when it comes to most things.
𝕗𝕝𝕒𝕨𝕤:
Again, she's terrible with her emotions. Her closed-off nature is what causes all of her relationships to fail. Jenna also is the type to jump off the deep end because she forgets the bigger picture. Her mind will focus on the little detail, and she'll obsess over that one thing until it takes over her life.
𝕢𝕦𝕚𝕣𝕜𝕤:
Jenna always has gum on her. When she's nervous, she needs to chew. She used to stress eat, which caused her to gain twenty pounds in high school, which she lost over time once she recognized it. So now she just chews gum. Of course, there are times where she'll relapse, but for the most part, she's gotten better at not doing that. She also always carries her camera around. She has her expensive camera for work, but then there's her old, practice camera from high school that she always has around her neck. That way, if she gets inspired, she can at least shoot something without having to worry about damaging her nice camera.
She does have a habit of talking in incoherently. When she's nervous or awkward, she'll get all her thoughts and ideas twisted. It'll sound something like this: "I wanted you know how fish are, but like Brazil is a nice place, yet coffee is while pools are relaxing." She fumbles with things too.
𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕒𝕝 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕥𝕙:
Jenna has social anxiety, and when she's anxious, she tends to retreat a lot into her own head. This can be dangerous.
~◈ᗷᗩᑕᛕǤᖇᗝᑌᑎᗪ◈~
𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪:
Growing up, Jenna had always been a quiet kid. It's not the cute, quirky 'I'm SHY' thing. It's more like the awkward, 'I can't function around people' fumbling over words thing that makes everyone uncomfortable. She wasn't intellectually inclined either. Yes, she's somewhat smart and philosophical, but she never really worked hard in school. She wasn't driven. Instead, she did the bare minimum, trying to get by unnoticed, which worked remarkably well for her. Jenna only excelled at art, specifically through a camera lens. Cameras made sense to her. They were easy to understand, unlike people, who said the opposite of what they meant to say. Photography was an escape for her, a way to understand everything that perplexed her about the world. Her parents have always been supportive of her, trying to get her to come out of her shell more. She's very much like her dad, quiet and reserved, which often causes her to clash with her mom. Her mom is the exact opposite of her and is always trying to set her up with her friends' single sons. It's not that Jenna thinks she won't be accepted for being a lesbian, because she knows her parents would still love her regardless. both happen to be very openminded people. However, she hasn't come out yet because she's a, very lazy, and b, is terrified of change. She also doesn't want to have that inevitable conversation with her mom, who would feel extremely hurt that Jenna has kept it a secret for so long. Instead of being thankful that her daughter finally informed her, she'd flip it into her being a bad mother. She'd see it as a failure that her daughter hadn't come to her sooner about everything. Her mother is extremely emotional, and Jenna hates disappointing people, so she'd rather pretend that she's who her mother thinks she is than speak her truth. It's just easier for her that way. Her dad, on the other hand, seems to know her better than anyone. He always hints at things, and Jenna knows he knows. Thankfully, he doesn't press. He just leaves hints that he understands and wants her to just be happy.
𝕗𝕒𝕞𝕚𝕝𝕪:
Megan Avery--56 mother
They have an incredibly rocky relationship simply because they are so different. Jenna is very reserved and isn't forthcoming with her emotions. Her mom, on the other hand, is very empathetic and emotional. So they often buttheads.
Dylan Avery--60 father
They are extremely close, to the point that neither have to talk around each other to understand what the other is going through. Jenna's mom and brother are jealous of their connection. They have such a strong bond because they are sewn from the same thread. They are comfortable with silence and rarely need to talk in the other's company.
Ralph Avery--28
Jenna's older brother. They're close as siblings go. He recently found out about Jenna's secret, and she's been avoiding him religiously. He saw her on a date with a woman, one that he dated briefly who ended things because she came out to him. So, she it wasn't her choice that he found out. He's a jokester, a bit blunt and on the wild side, but he'd do anything for Jen. He recently left her a voicemail promising that he wouldn't tell mom and dad, but that he advised that she should tell them before it's too late. He really does care about her, but he also hates how she shuts everyone out. He makes it his job to tell her what she needs to work on. It comes from a place of love, but sometimes it's too much for Jenna to deal with.
𝕗𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕤:
Alfred Thompson 28--the roommate
Alfie is a transgender FTM and they live together. Her mom thinks they're having a secret love affair despite the fact that Alf is happily engaged to Flynn, his boyfriend of six years. Alfie is an extremely supportive, down-to-earth person. He's always hinting at setting her up with someone before her ovaries forget how to function (his words not mine).
Flynn Anderson 26--the Mom
Flynn is just an angel. Literally, there's no other way to describe him. While Alfie is a blunt, sassy fool, Flynn is the supportive, whimsical spirit that keeps everyone in line. He is very motherly and is always worrying about other people. He and Alfie are Jen's favorite people in the whole world. Their relationship honestly gives her hope that love is actually real and not a contract between too lonely people scared of dying alone.
Charlotte Newman 25--The Wild One
This girl is always ready for shots of literally anything. vodka, gin, tequila, you name it. She loves to party, to dance, and is the definition of a social butterfly. You wouldn't think that she'd be friends with Jenna, but the two have known each other since first grade. They're inseparable, and, at this point, splitting up is out of the option. Besides Alfred and Flynn, she's the only other person that knows she's a lesbian. She knew in middleschool and basically told Jen that it's okay, brushing it off like it didn't really matter. At that point, Jenna didn't really know that she was a lesbian for sure. She just figured she preferred hanging out with girls than guys and that was it. But the Charlotte one day just said: "Listen, Jenn, I love you. You can like girls. It's 2010, things are changing. And honestly, you're still Jen whether you want that dick or that--"
And then in Jenna fashion, she threw a pillow at her to get her to shut up. Charlotte is pretty blunt and shameless, which is ironic considering how innocent and sweet are words associated with her name.
𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕞𝕚𝕖𝕤:
No one worth noting in all honesty. She doesn't get close to enough people to piss them off.
𝕡𝕒𝕤𝕥 𝕠𝕣 𝕔𝕦𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕥 𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕡𝕤:
She's gone on a lot of bad dates. Or she dated them for a month and things ended badly.
Angelica Michaels--they dated for six months but she broke things off with Jen after several arguments that stemmed from Jenna's inability to express how she was feeling. Angel simply was tired of feeling like she was having a onesided relationship, which was fiar.
Lauren Montgomery--They dated for four months, but then Jenna broke up with her when Lauren told her she loved her. Lauren was a bit clingy, and that suffocated Jen. Everything happened too fast too soon.
Marilyn Phelps--two months of realizing that they both were too awkward and insecure to make things work. It wasn't much of a relationship.
The one she misses is Angelica. She actually really liked her, so when Angel left, it hurt her more than she wanted to admit. Since then, Jenna took herself out of the dating pool, convinced that she can't find love, and that the only person for her was Angel. She does check the woman's social media way more than she should. She just can't help but feel guilty and a sense of a regret for not fighting for her.
𝕠𝕔𝕔𝕦𝕡𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟:
Jenna is trying to be a photo journalist, but at the moment, she is a free-lancer photographer. She is normally hired for weddings, birthday parties, or senior pics. She isn't doing the sort of photography that she wants to do. However, a paycheck is a paycheck, so she can't really complain.
𝕡𝕖𝕥𝕤:
None
𝕝𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤:
She lives with Alfie, but she's searching for a new roommate because he's engaged. He probably is thinking about moving in with his fiancé, because that makes the most sense. It saddens her that they aren't going to live together anymore since she loves him so much.

Scenarios:
ONE—You're at a wedding. Either it's your friend getting married, your sibling, parents, or maybe you're the caterer or the wedding planner. Whatever your reasons are behind the attendance, you're there. During the after party, you see a tall woman with a camera. You recognize her as the hired photographer, here to take pictures of the bride and groom on their magical day. Earlier you saw her taking numerous candid photos along with planned pictures. You notice that she had been taking quite a few pictures of you while you were dancing or setting up something or whatever you were doing. She had taken an interest to you, and just as you made eye contact with her, you saw her snap a photo before looking away as though she remembered she was getting paid to take pictures of the bride and groom rather than you.
You....?
TWO—You've hired a photographer for whatever reason. Maybe you're a model or you want shots for some project. Either way, you've hired a young freelancer named Jenna. You're getting ready for the shoot, and you hear a knock on the door of your home/office/wherever you're meeting for the pictures. Answering ur, you see a tall woman with glasses and an expensive camera hung around her neck. "Hi, I'm Jenna. The photographer," she said quickly, nodding at you. You realized she wasn't the type to beat around the bush either. "Where do you want to start?"
You....?
THREE—make it up
