(Pub 29th Aug 2020. Don't judge me it's for my own records😂)

Seriously, what is it with me and ships 😂😂
Also, I figure I may as well start doing some "previously's" to help ya keep up.

Hiccup

Previously:

"How much are you guys getting paid for this?" I blurt out as we stop in front of a metal door, which is yanked open.

They guards smirk at me. "Clearly too much. It's a lot of fun beating up runts!" Then they throw me forward into the cell, and I land with a hard thud on the wooden floor, sending pangs of pain through my stump.

***

How in the world am I supposed to get out of this? How am I going to find Toothless? Is he here? What about the other dragons? What does Dagur want with me? Why has he kidnapped me? I pause as a thought hits me, and shiver involuntarily at the thought. What is he going to do to me?

....................................
(Now)

After about an hour of sitting in this stupid cell, alone, I hear footsteps and the rattle of keys. I sit up from my position of laying on my back and turn to face the door as two guards and one deranged chief walk into view.

Dagur stops and smirks at me deviously as a guard unlocks the door and steps aside, letting Dagur and the other guard in.

"Enjoying your stay, brother?" He asks tauntingly. I cross my arms and lean back.

"Not really. It's Boring, the room service is terrible, and your guards have no sense of humour." I reply sassily. "Don't even laugh at the classic one-leg jokes." I tut.

"Don't worry, brother. The room service is about to get a lot worse for you." Dagur smirks. "We'll soon have that sass out of that tiny body of yours."

"Good luck with that," I respond sarcastically.

Dagur rolls his eyes in response and nods to the guard next to him.

Next thing I know, I'm shoved face-first against the wall, arms pinned behind my back and being tightly restrained to the point where I'm sure, if I move even the slightest, I'll probably pop an arm out of place.

"What is this, Dagur?" I ask as I'm ripped away from the wall and spun around forcefully to face the man.

"This," he leans closer to me and I have to look up, "is the beginning of your Helheim adventure!"

Then he backs up and nods to the two guards that are now either side of me.

"Boys!" He yells, staring at me unflinchingly. After a few tense seconds, he slowly smirks. "Bring him to the torture chamber!"

Astrid
Previously:

Gosta lifts his sword up, ready to plunge it into me.
The cage comes down at an alarming speed.
A glint of grey, Gosta is sent tumbling away from me.
His hand- the one with the sword- flailing as a result.
The sword sliding right into Disa's stomach.
The cage slamming on top of Gosta.

***
"No, Disa. I— we can do something."

"Don't let anybody hold you down. But let them lift you up."

She releases a final breath before the life fades from her eyes, and her hand slips from my grip.

***

"Ok, so, clearly, this guy is not getting up anytime soon..." Lokus murmurs, pointing at the body underneath the cage.

"Which, brings us to the next question...how do we get out of here?" I ask.
....................................
(Now)

We all look at each other. A few voices come into earshot and our looks of cluelessness turn to worry.

"Astrid." Ruffnut hisses. I look at her. They're all looking at me.
Why? Why are they—oh. I'm, the leader, I suppose. Because I'm heir.

"Uh..." I murmur, looking around.
Think. They're relying on you.

"Ok. So Gosta's father is onboard somewhere. Disa did mention he was friendly, so he might be able to drop us off somewhere. But if he finds out we killed his son? I doubt it." I blurt out, looking around in case someone springs out.

"So...we hide the evidence?" Snotlout suggests. I raise my eyebrows at him.

"What? That's never gonna work." Lokus mutters. But I shake my head.

"No, Snotlout's right!" I object. "Quickly, help me drag him to that fishing stuff over there. There should be enough netting to cover him." I point to a massive supply of fishing gear. They all nod, and we each grab a limb. Quickly, we pull the body over to the fishing gear and lift up the netting, before shoving him under.

"Ok. Good. Uh, let's move away from here so we don't draw attention." I mutter.

"Do you really think this will work?" Ruffnut asks.

"Of course not," I reply automatically, heading towards a wooden door.

"Comforting, as always," Lokus mutters sarcastically. I roll my eyes.

"Expect me to lie?" I retort as we move along a hallway.

"Well, you will be when we find the captain, or whatever." Snotlout pipes up, still nursing his arm.

"If we find him, more likely." Ruffnut scoffs.

"Yeah, we've been here for, how long now? And we still haven't seen the stupid captain." Lokus exclaims.

"Probably doesn't even exist." Snotlout grumbles.

"Wow. I take offence to that!"

We turn around, seeing a door half open and a head poking out, looking back at us.

"See? Found him. Told you we'd be fine!" I exclaim nervously, wincing slightly.
Is this guy gonna chop us up?
