Time skip: next day
Hiccup's POV.

This is bad. Really bad!
I may, or may not, of grounded a Gronkle by using dragon nip- rubbing it on its nose,  just then in training.

And now, walking out of there, I've been swamped by teens.
Fishlegs comes up to me with everyone else. "What was that? Some kind of trick? What did you do?"
Dragon nip. Sort of. I Rubbed it on its nose.
"How'd you do that?" Tuffnut asks.
Rubbed it on its nose!

Ruffnut adds, " It was really cool!"

"Hey, Hiccup!" Fishlegs tries again.
Hi.
"Hey, Hiccup, I've never seen a Gronckle do that before!" even Snotlout is wowed.
Well duh! You never stop to pay attention to the important stuff. I bet all you've seen in your eyes is a Gronkle dying a cruel and violent death.
"I..left my axe back in the ring. You guys go on ahead. I'll catch up with you!" I say, making up an excuse.
That was SO weird!

I run back past everyone and wait at least ten minuets in the ring, awkwardly standing there, just to be safe. I take this chance to crack open the Zipppleback door and snatch out the Eel before I'll be sparked and gassed to death. As soon as its gone the dragon calms down.

I see that their is at least an hour or so before sunset so I head back to The Cove just to hang with Toothless, figuring that I'll have nothing left to do.

Eventually, I make it to The Cove and Toothless comes over to me from where he was sleeping.

"Hey Toothless, Hey buddy!" I say and decide to scratch him. His face shows that he is enjoying it. Then I hit a spot just below his chin and he falls down to the ground in a heap.

Is he okay?! Did I kill him?! Is he paralysed?!
Oh, he's fine it's out of Bliss! Cool.
"Whoa! " I stare at my fingers.

After a while I sit in the sun, sketching Toothless who is playfully stalking a bug.
Hahaha wow!
Toothless creeps up on the bug.
This is priceless.

I finish my sketch and tuck away my journal. "Okay, I gotta go Toothless." I say before heading out of the cove. He doesn't really acknowledge me, pouncing on the bug.

Several minuets later I am walking through the village when a hand grabs my collar and pulls me behind a house before I can utter a "Whoa!"

I turn to see Snotlout.
Oh of course.
"I need to know what's going on, Hiccup. What did you do in training? Tell me!" He says.

I'm not going to tell him a thing.
"Tell you what, Snotlout?" I ask as if I don't know what he's talking about.

"Very well. You asked for it!" Snotlout says before he starts to punch and kick me. He hits my stomach and pretty much everywhere except the face. He has done this many times before and to avoid being caught he just doesn't get my face since the bruises would be visible. He knows I won't rat, since my dad don't give a crap. He's not here, anyway!

Snotlout leaves me laying on the ground battered and bruised and walks off.
I groan, trying to move a bit of my body that doesn't hurt.

I eventually make it home, where I get the fire started and head up to bed go nurture my battered body.
I wasn't going to ever to tell anyone what I'm doing. I'm still not. Snotlout can kick me, hit me, call me names, but he WON'T know my secret!
That, I will make sure of.
