The evident hint of giddiness written all over Yeonjun's face didn't go unnoticed by Soobin.

The brunette boy appears to be anticipating something as he keeps on checking the wall clock from across the room that Soobin couldn't help but get distracted to.

It almost annoys him, honestly, because Yeonjun is obviously pre-occupied over something that he's unconsciously brushing Soobin off. And Soobin, although he doesn't want to admit it, resented not having Yeonjun's full attention on hi—he meant, on what they're doing.

However, the only thing holding Soobin back from completely losing it is Yeonjun's growing smile each time he learned that another hour had passed by because it means that he'd only have to wait for a bit more.

What Yeonjun could possibly be waiting for? Soobin has no idea.

Probably why he is being secretly irked about it.

"Get up," Soobin looked away from his phone when Yeonjun pulled his arm, attempting to get him to stand up from where he is sitting on, on the bed. They were playing an online game for the past hour but their team kept on losing because Yeonjun couldn't focus to the point that Soobin didn't bother scolding him anymore.

And since there's no point in continuing the game they kept on losing anyway, the ravenette just got up without complaints; that doesn't mean he isn't wondering why though.

Before Soobin could speak out his questions, Yeonjun drags him rather excitedly out the door and through the hallways. The boy is being condemningly fast which caused Soobin to grow a bit worried for Yeonjun might run out of breath in that case.

"Hey, slow down a bit, will you?" Soobin muttered, voice sounding more annoyed than he initially intended to. For a moment, Soobin thought Yeonjun might get the wrong idea because of his tone but it seems as though the male couldn't be shaken off out his great mood—which is kind of a relief of some sort for Soobin.

He's still a little stingy about it though.

Just what on earth is it that could make Yeonjun be excited like that? Not that he wants to be the reason why—no. It's not like that. It's just—Yeonjun couldn't focus on their game and that caused them to lose and Soobin doesn't like that.

Yeah. That's it. That's the only reason. Nothing else.

"Sorry," Yeonjun looked back at him with an apologetic smile, still holding onto his wrist even though they're already inside the elevator. Soobin noticed this but chose to be quiet; letting the brunette's touch linger on him for longer than what's needed. "It's just... we have to hurry to meet him by the entrance."

Woah.

Now, hold on a second. Him? A he? Who? Who is he? And why is the thought of him making Yeonjun smile like a little kid who's about to get the toy he wants? And why do they have to meet him by the entrance? And why does Soobin has to meet him too? What if he doesn't want to?

And why the fuck is he thinking about it so much?

Soobin bit his bottom lip, choosing to look ahead of them instead of Yeonjun to his reflection in the elevator door. His eyes then travel down and fall on his wrist which Yeonjun is still holding and he's reluctant whether he should pull it away now or just let it be.

However, before Soobin could even decide, the reflection slowly vanishes away and the open area came into view and Yeonjun is back into dragging him again with such eagerness.

"Come on! Quick!"

The two boys speed-walk towards the main entrance, bowing and greeting to some workers and patients as they went. Yeonjun even managed to almost walk them right through an abandoned trolley but the brunette just laughed it off with a small apology, resulting to a displeased Soobin.

To Soobin's amusement though, Yeonjun actually isn't planning to greet whoever that is properly by the entrance and instead, here they are, hiding behind a pillar nearby which Yeonjun pulled Soobin to before they could reach the main door.

The shorter boy looked at Soobin, a playful grin on his lips as he raised his index finger close to his mouth to signal him them to be quiet. The dark haired didn't question it and just complied—having been spending enough time with Yeonjun to know that the boy always has tricks hiding upon his sleeves.

Both males stick close to the pillar, feeling its slightly cold surface hit their backs through the garments of their clothes. Yeonjun ducked down a little, peeking from the edge of the pillar while trying to hide his body behind it.

If someone were to watch the two, they would find them absolutely ridiculous and probably think they're weird. Thankfully though, the place is big enough to not have anyone near them to witness this silliness.

Few moments later and Yeonjun turned back around to face Soobin and signaled him to come closer so he could take a peek too, "Who are we hiding from?" Soobin asked, glancing towards the transparent glass wall across them only to look down and notice their extremely close proximity.

His face is so close to Yeonjun's and he's basically breathing in the scent of his hair-apples and cinnamon-the information inked itself inside Soobin's brain. He forced his confusingly erratic heartbeat to calm down, not wanting to have an unwanted sudden pain attack.

"You see that tall guy with the broad-ass shoulders?" Yeonjun answered back with a question.

"Which one?" Soobin replied, telling himself to focus at something else other than apples and cinnamon.

"The one wearing a pink coat?"

"You mean that guy with a dozen of luggage?"

"Yeah," Yeonjun nodded. "Some of them are mine... well, I hope so."

Soobin furrowed his brows, puzzled as to why he needs that much of luggage. Okay maybe he was exaggerating when he said dozens, but six? Oh wait. Seven of them?

"Why do you need that much? What's inside them? And who is he?"

"Clothes, duh?" Yeonjun sharply tuned back at him with a look that is somewhat mocking, like that information is something Soobin should have all the knowledge about. And since they're still really close, Soobin had to retreat back fast or Yeonjun could have pressed his face against him-his lips specifically, and they wouldn't want that.

"You know nothing about fashion, do you?" Yeonjun added once he went back into watching the male from afar.

"What for? It's not like I have somewhere to be."

"And? You dress to express yourself and last time I check, it has nothing to do with the place. Keep that in mind, Binnie."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Soobin rolled his eyes, though he's totally aware the other couldn't see.

But now that he thinks about it, Yeonjun really does dress nice—or maybe it's just him? Maybe he has this ability to make anything he wears look nice.

"He's coming this way!" Yeonjun pushed Soobin up again and move his hands around excitedly like a child. "Quick! Get ready!"

"Get ready to what?"

"Boo!"

"Ahhh!"

Both Soobin and the guy they were watching flinched on their spots while Yeonjun laughed maniacally. The guy flinching because of Yeonjun and Soobin because of the guy's scream.

"You little brat!" the guy, who now Soobin could inspect closer, scolded and attempted to pinch Yeonjun who quickly avoided it with a teasing smile.

The man looks great, a little older Soobin guessed, black hair, pretty eyes, pointed nose and plump lips and oddly familiar. Soobin just couldn't quite put his finger on it.

After dying his laughter down and making sure the potential harm is gone, Yeonjun latched himself onto the older male and smiled brightly at Soobin who's still thinking hard to remember where he had seen this man. He swears he had seen him before.

"Oh right," Yeonjun giggled to himself, "Hyung, this is Soobin, he's my new friend I'm telling you about."

The older male sent Soobin a kind smile, his pearly white teeth showing and that's when it hit Soobin.

"And Soobin, this is Seokjin hyung. He's my personal nurse!"

Oh shit.

Yeonjun's nurse is dating his nurse.

That's his Namjoon hyung's boyfriend.
