Me and  leona sat down at the table far from others I saw he looked tired and was eating slowly  "kingscholar....I have seen you been...struggling" leona looked at me a annoyed look in his eye "yeah....after my father disowned me...I had to work...alot..I bet your glad about it" I sighed looked at leona was consurn "I am not kingscholar however....I want to help you" leona choked a bit on his food he was in shock he looked up at me "you....you want to help...me...why" he asked me thinking I was lying to him "because even if I dislike you I don't wish you pain so I wish to help you kingscholar" I looked at him with kindness he was shocked on my response I saw he was holding back tears "thank you....malleus" I was shock but I smiled softly he had never said my name during the time I've known him "oh course....leona" I saw leonas smile i won't lie it was kinda cute

Leonas pov
Once lunch was over, i headed back to the dorm. i walked into my room. I was, for once happy, I looked on my phone and saw news still going around my former family still looking. I sighed deeply and sighed soon. A message popped up, and I froze it was a text from my mother she had not spoken a word. I opened it, and my heart broke it read "leona I'm deeply disappointed in you. For once, your brother was going to be crowned, and you have to be a thief. I now see I raised a disappointment. " From that, I started tearing up and soon was crying I looked on my contacts I tried melinoe he didn't answer i looked I knew ruggie was busy and Jack was with epel so I sucked up my hate and texted malleus.

No... I'm not. Can I come over or you come over

Of course. I'm on my way. Do you need anything?

Leonas pov
I was about to text saying sorry, but I read next it warmed my heart a bit, "Don't you even think about apologizing, You done nothing wrong." I teared up more i was crying until I heard a knock i slowly got up and opened the door i saw malleus he was holding a blanket and some food "sorry I rushed getting here i also brought you a blanket and got you some steak i know you like meat" I was shock I teared up a bit more and as soon the door closed I started crying hard malleus put the items down and rushed to hugged me I was shocked but I didn't care I hugged back and was crying in Malleus arms

Leona cried in malleus arms, tears streaming down his face. Malleus didn't mind he held leona close he wondered what happened. He was worried and full of consurn, but he knew leona needed a bit he could tell it hurt leona deeply. Soon, leona was calm but still a bit teary-eyed. malleus sat leona down and placed the blanket  on him. "What happened, leona..." leona looked at his phone, but he gave it to malleus. The text was still there, malleus read it, and slowly, malleus got mad he was upset for leona he wanted to curse leonas's family, but he knew leona needed someone more. Malleus sighed. "I see....your mother... she has no right saying that she made more pain in you than good...." leona nodded he was shaking and little,"I know....they still think... I took them, but I didn't. " malleus looked at leona he knew leona was telling the truth, and malleus saw the pain leona was feeling. He walked up and hugged leona close, "I'm not leaving you...not until you feel better leona...you have enough pain in your heart." Leona wad shock, but he hugged back he slowly started to feel warm and safe soon. leona fell asleep, feeling safe and comforted. malleus saw this and held leona close he soon mumbled, "Sleep well, my lion,"
