The following week on Raw, Josh and Gionna were gloating about their heinous attacks on Mandy and Ricochet.

Josh: So last week, you want answers as to why we did what we did? Well here is your answer... BECAUSE WE CAN!

Gionna: You see, now we have these titles, it means that we are on top of the world right now, and after what we did last week, we dare anyone to try and take our spot.

And sure enough, someone did step up to the challenge in the form of Josh's previous challenger, Aleister Black.

Aleister: What you did to Ricochet last week wasn't what I or any of the WWE universe expected from a man of your character, Josh. These fans looked up to you. Now, you're nothing more than a disgrace of a champion.

Josh just smiled with a hint of evil on his face.

Josh: I'm not gonna beat about the bush, Black. You are a hell of an athlete. I'm still seeing stars from that Black Mass kick. But I got news for you. You've had your chance - now get to the back of the line.

Then Mandy's new tag team partner, Dana Brooke came out to have a word with Liv.

Dana: Liv, Liv, Liv. Obviously you have forgotten how it felt when Ruby and Sarah attacked you earlier in the year! Well that's how I felt last week when you attacked Mandy. I thought you were a friend, Liv. But now it's clear where your loyalties lie. With your boytoy you call a champion.

Gionna: Don't you ever talk that way about my man. You two don't get it. Did you not see what we did to your buddies last week? We demolished them and made sure they're on the injured list for the next few weeks. And when they come back to face us at Money In The Bank, they'll suffer the exact same fate again.

Josh: So with that being said, we have reservations for dinner tonight, so we'll be off!

Aleister: Whoa, whoa. Josh, I may be a lot of things, but being stupid isn't one of them. You're not going anywhere until me and Dana get our hands on you.

They then sprinted to the ring, with the champions in retreat. Gionna had her arms around Josh, who had a furious look on his face.

Josh: Fine. You want us in a mixed tag? You got it. I have no problem beating you again! Hell, I'll even put my title on the line!

Gionna had the same evil smirk as Josh as they both raised their titles.

Gionna: And so will I. Believe me when I say you will regret your decision.

During the match, Aleister and Dana were on top, with Dana nailing a Swanton bomb on Gionna into a pin which Josh broke up, and Gionna rolling up Dana with the tights hooked, but only for two. As the match came to it's close, Gionna pulled Dana off the apron and threw her into the barricade and then steel steps as Aleister went to tag her in. She then exposed the middle turnbuckle and as the ref was distracted by her, Josh hit a dropkick on the back of Black, sending him face first into the buckle and then went up top to hit the Butterfly Effect, his double rotation moonsault. He got the pin and the win.

Mike: Here are your winners, and still Raw Women's and United States Champion, Liv Morgan and Josh Stevens!

As Josh rolled out of the ring, Gionna grabbed their titles and ran over to him to jump in his arms and kiss him as they headed backstage, with Gionna not stopping with her kisses, even when Charly Caruso came for an interview.

Charly: Er... Guys?

Josh: Yeah?

Charly: Any comment on what you did to get the win out there tonight?

Josh: What can I say? That's what champions do. They find a way to win. If those two wanna be crybabies about it, that's their problem. They're not who we are facing in 3 weeks. As far as we're concerned, they were no threat to us, and we proved it in that ring.

He then turned to Gionna who had a cheeky grin on her face.

Gionna: Now, what do you say we carry on back at the locker room and even the hotel?

Josh: You read my mind, sweetcheeks.

They quickly got cleaned up and headed back to their hotel room, where Gio wasted no time at all getting her hands all over her man.

Gionna: You're mine tonight big boy...

She pushed him onto the bed, taking off her jacket as she did so. Already kissing him, she immediately slid her hand down to Josh's shaft, which was beginning to make an appearance.

Gionna: Mmm... Looks like someone's happy to see me...

Josh: You turn me and him on so much...

Gionna: Guess I'm just that damn attractive...

Josh: No kidding, now come here...

Josh wasted no time wrapping his arms around Gionna, with one of them even going as far as to pull down her booty shorts, which she took off completely, leaving her in just her blue panties. She took them off as well, and Josh reacted like lightening, pulling down his jeans and boxers to then let Gio position herself right over Josh's shaft.

He then thrusted deep inside Gio, going slow at first but gradually picking up the pace the more she moaned.

He then picked up Gio, who woke up as she was being carried to the bath, which was more of a hot tub.

Gionna: ... Josh? What's this?

She jumped down from Josh's arms and slowly got in the water which was at a perfect temperature, closing her eyes and sighing as she felt every single part of her body relax, the warm water soothing her, and was then soon joined by Josh, who draped his arm over her shoulders, and Gio leaned into his touch.

Gionna: I can't begin to describe how much I adore you, both in and out of the ring. The company have definitely made the right decision, putting us in an in ring storyline together.

Josh: Speaking of our in ring relationship, I have some news for you on that. They want us to be a truly evil power couple, and in a way, hold the entire WWE at our mercy.

Gionna: In what way exactly?

Josh: By making our own faction and claiming every single title on Raw and Smackdown, they weren't too sure about NXT.

Gionna: Wow, that does sound good, it would be like we would control everything about the belts. 

Josh: Yep, I'd be going after the WWE, Intercontinental, and Universal, don't really feel right about taking the tag titles as a one man team.

Gionna: So that would mean I'd be both Raw and Smackdown Women's Champion at the same time? Man, that would definitely be special...

Josh: Yeah, we'd rule both Raw and Smackdown together.

Gionna: I love the sound of that for our future, securing our places at the top of the company. If you're up for it, then I am too.

Josh: Definitely - and actually, now that I think about it, maybe taking the tag titles hostage would be good too - because I have the perfect partner in mind. I'll just need to make a quick phone call to an old friend, see if he's up for it...

Gionna: Would I know about him?

Josh: Well, put it this way, he will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and he's not afraid to get personal, which is why I think he'll be perfect for our little alliance. Believe me, on his day, he is probably the most dangerous wrestler I know. I also happen to know that his contract with his current company is up soon, so it'll be perfect timing come Summerslam, which is when we're going for all the belts.

Gionna: How about the women's tag titles? If I were to go after them, I'd need a partner...

Josh: Don't worry, I think I know just the person for that too... And it's not who you would expect. You might know her from NXT UK, all I'm saying.

Gionna: As long as it signals success for us, I don't mind.

She hid her face in Josh's neck, where she kissed him a couple of times, while Josh gently kissed the top of her head and stroked her head and the two just laid in each other's company before they got out and got dried up, and got in bed wearing just their dressing gowns. Once Gionna was asleep, Josh then got out of bed and got his phone to make a couple of calls.

Josh: Hey man.

???: Josh Stevens, as I live and breathe. I've seen that you and Gio have been killing it over there in WWE. To what do I owe this unexpected surprise?

Josh: Storyline situation. They want me and Liv to hold all the belts - but for the tag titles, I'd need a partner and you were the first name I had in mind.

???: Sounds good, I'm in. Will be good to team up with you again after so long.

Josh: I'll pass you on to Triple H. See if you can get your contract signed before Summerslam if poss, that's the big night.

???: No worries mate, I'll be in touch. See ya real soon!

Josh: Laters, man.

He had a big smile on his face as he then made the second one of his calls.

Josh: Hey, it's me.

???: OMG! JOSH! I haven't heard from you in AGES!

Josh: I know, it has been a while. Listen, I need a bit of a favour from you.

???: Anything for my bestie! How can I help?

Josh: Basically, you know me and Gio are a thing both on and off screen? Well we're in a storyline where we are a truly evil power couple going after all the belts on Raw and Smackdown. For Gionna to get the women's tag team titles, she'll need a partner and I thought of you.

???: To be honest, this could be perfect. I think I'd be better off with you guys, as they don't have much planned for me for the foreseeable future in NXT UK.

Josh: Which in my mind is stupid, you're a great wrestler and a future champion without a doubt. Only thing is, you'd need to be quite villainous. You okay with that?

???: Well, people have never really seen me as a heel, but I think it would be fun - it's worth a try, I'm in.

Josh: Nice - you let Hunter know and I'll let Gio know. I think you two as a team will be amazing.

???: Will definitely be good to see you again, it's been way too long!

Josh: Definitely! Anyway, I'm gonna get some sleep, I kinda wore myself out with Gionna earlier, if you know what I mean.

???: Too much info, Josh! Well, talk soon!

Josh: Later!

With an even bigger smile on his face, he retied his dressing gown and got back in bed with a sleeping Gionna, wrapping his arms around her waist, with Gio smiling in her sleep, and Josh unable to wipe the smile off his face as he then fell asleep as well.
