It was the last Raw before Wrestlemania, and both Gionna and Josh were beyond hyped for what was happening tonight. They were in a handicap mixed tag team match against Andrade, Garza, and Zelina, and Becky would be watching Gionna while on commentary.

Gionna: Tonight will definitely be interesting, for sure.

Josh: Yep, this is my chance to stick it to Andrade and his goon squad.

Gionna: No doubt Becky will be there to scout me.

Josh: Well, you scouted her last week against Asuka. Even stopped Kairi intervening so Becky won. No doubt Theory will try something tonight.

Gionna: Even though we're at a disadvantage... I feel confident about tonight. And I feel confident for Wrestlemania too. We can come to Raw next week as the champions of the red brand.

Josh gripped her shoulders and hugged her before kissing her on her forehead.

Josh: That, right there, is all the motivation I need for us to win tonight and at Wrestlemania. There's nobody else I want to be doing this with.

The two went to the ring together, and did a special entrance with Josh going first, wearing his hat and ring jacket, and Gio soon followed, in her own matching gear, showing off her sweet curves, and as the match started, Josh could not take his eyes off her. By the time Zelina made the tag to Garza, Josh came in and absolutely tore apart the former Cruiserweight champion, even hitting his own version of Liv's Jersey Codebreaker, with Andrade saving the match. But that may have been a mistake, as Josh then unloaded on the US champ, and just as Josh was about to end it with a Throwback, Zelina came up onto the apron and tried to distract him. Her efforts were in vain as Gio then jumped from the top rope and hit a hurricanrana on Zelina sending her into the barricade. As he saw Gio pull the move off, Andrade went for a back elbow, but Josh ducked and hit a Throwback sending him into the turnbuckle, taking him out. He then hit a Throwback on Garza, and got the win for him and Gio.

As Gionna got back in the ring to celebrate with Josh, out of nowhere, Josh kissed her flush on the lips. She just melted into the feeling and wrapped her arms around him as the kiss deepened. As the two enjoyed their moment, Becky came down to the ring and applauded Gionna for her efforts. She then went for a sneak attack, but Gionna saw it coming and hit a Jersey Codebreaker on The Man.

Gionna: You're not getting through me that easily...

She and Josh went backstage together, where she had one or two questions to ask him.

Gionna: So, you gonna explain to me what you did out there? Cos I wasn't told about this...

Josh: Hunter said that I could spring any kind of surprise on not just you, but the WWE Universe. So that's exactly what I did by kissing you.

Gionna: Well, it was one hell of a kiss. Reminded me of those times we had a few years ago.

Josh: Me too, cos it really made me feel something.

Just as they were leaning towards each other, there was a knock at the locker room door, to which it revealed Andrade, Garza, Theory and Zelina, along with someone very familiar.

Ashley: Hey, Josh. You look a little surprised.

Josh: No shit. So, you're with Andrade now? Cos I read the rumours from after your mixed tag against us.

Ashley: Well, what can I say? Rather than be with a man who is expectant to win gold at some point, I thought I'd be better off with a man who HAS the gold.

She rubbed Andrade's shoulder, which had the United States championship draped over it.

Josh: Not if I have anything to do or say about it...

Ashley: Well, I just hope that this Sunday, he will make sure he leaves you laying in the ring in a pile of broken bones. Cos we just came from a meeting with Hunter, and he agreed to the stipulation I suggested of your championship match now being a ladder match, with me in my man's corner! Toodles...

She blew a kiss towards Josh before actually kissing Andrade and heading off, leaving Josh feeling a little concerned. Gionna gave him a hug as he sat down.

Gionna: That's... not good.

Josh: Nope...

Gionna: I mean, I can be in your corner for the match too, if you want. My match with Becky is the first of the night and yours is later. Cos Ashley never said anything about not having someone in your corner. Plus, I don't want her trying anything with you.

Josh: Trust me, with you there, she won't try a thing.

There was then another knock at the door, to which it revealed Becky.

Becky: Hey, I just saw Ash and I guess her new man come from here. From the look on your faces, it wasn't good.

Josh: My US title match this Sunday is now a ladder match, thanks to her. Plus she's gonna be there in Andrade's corner. It's like she has this hold on me even after I've moved on from her.

Becky: Well, I will say this. You definitely seem to have moved on from her if that kiss you gave Gio earlier tonight was anything to go by.

Gionna couldn't help but blush at what Becky said, and cast her mind back to just a few minutes ago in the ring, when Josh was basically all over her after they won their handicap match.

Gionna: She's right, Josh. Ash may now have Andrade, but you've got me now. And rest assured, I will be there in your corner, regardless of the outcome between me and Becky.

Becky: Hell, I might even make an appearance just to stick it to that stuck up blonde bitch.

As Josh took both the ladies' words to heart, he didn't even notice that Becky had now left, and Gio had taken a shower, returning just wearing a towel.

Gionna: Josh? You okay?

Josh: Yeah, fine.

He quickly averted his eyes and began packing everything for the journey back to his apartment. As Gionna joined him in the car, she was a little curious about something.

Gionna: Just out of curiousity, but do you ever think... that we could be something... together again?

Josh: Well, I won't lie, I have thought about it from time to time, a lot more recently. That kiss tonight really lit some feelings. I think it may be a bit soon, but you never know.

Once they got back to Josh's apartment, Gionna put Piggles to bed, while her new pup, Spirit had got snuggled up into Josh's lap, who was still up.

He had his PS4 up and running, and had WWE 2K20 loaded up.

Gionna: Whatcha doing?

Josh: I'm trying to motivate myself by doing a simulation of my match this Sunday. Especially now it's a ladder match. I've actually never been in one of them before. I've been in No Disqualification matches and streetfights, but never a ladder match.

As he picked up the controller and began the match, he consistently pummeled Andrade with the ladder, and even hit a couple of Throwbacks on him. As he continued the assault, Gionna watched on with quiet satisfaction, while Josh climbed up the ladder and after mashing a few buttons on his controller, he eventually pulled down the title. Now he had seen his character win the belt, he now knew what to do in order to win the real thing at Wrestlemania.

Gionna: Something tells me that's the kind of beating you're gonna give him at Wrestlemania.

Josh: Yep. His days as the US Champion are numbered.

Just as Josh was about to switch games and start up Call of Duty Black Ops 4, which was one of his favourites, Gionna stopped him.

Gionna: Josh?

Josh: Yeah?

Gionna: Do you mind if I do a match on the game? I wanna see the potential outcome for my title match with Becky. And also another match against that spoilt blondie, Ashley.

Josh raised a smile at the suggestion.

Josh: Why not? Would love to see you beat her yet again!

He gave the controller to Gio, who set the match up, and went against the Raw Women's Champion first. She was a bit sneaky with her offensive moves, countering a lot of Becky's assult with some moves of her own, with the ending being Gionna taking a page out of Becky's book and locking in the Dis-Arm-Her to make Becky tap and make virtual Gionna the champion.

Josh: Reckon you could do that in real life?

Gionna: It would be tough, but I think with a bit of practice, I could!

Josh just smiled and put his arm around her, leaving her to melt into the feeling as she then set the game up for a No Disqualification match against Ashley for her newly-won title. She was laser focused on inflicting as much damage on Ashley as she could, using kendo stick and steel chair shots to wear her down before hitting an elbow drop on her through a table to win the match.

Gionna: Beating her will never fail to satisfy me.

Josh: Same goes for basically anyone on the roster. Thank god she's not actually in any title matches this year at Wrestlemania. She's only in the women's battle royal, and not even expected to win it.

Gionna: But let's not forget, she'll be at ringside for your match.

Josh: As will you.

Gionna: Speaking of those two being at ringside, I have an idea. Can we do one more match, a mixed tag team match? Us two vs Ash and Andrade?

She pulled her cutest looking face, with puppy eyes, fluttering them in an attempt to persuade him.

Josh: Aww, how can I say no to a cute face like that?

He got another controller, gave it to Gio, and with Spirit jumping up and down in excitement as the two did their entrance like Miz and Maryse, they noticed the kiss at the end.

Josh: Would you ever be up for doing an entrance like that?

Gionna: If you're the one I'm doing it with, then yes! All the time! At house shows, live events, you name it!

Josh: Wow, someone's keen. Is it just for the kiss?

Gionna: Maaaybeee...

She pecked him on the cheek, not even bothering to watch Ashley and Andrade's entrance, and skipping it altogether. They worked pretty fluently as a team, performing a double suplex, as well as the Yes Kicks and a few other double team moves. After some quiet satisfaction of beating the two people they most hated down to a pulp, Josh thought it was time to end it, and even gave Gio a little tribute when he hit a Jersey Codebreaker to Andrade, while she did the same to Ashley and get the win.

Gionna: You used my move!

Josh: What can I say? It's effective. I kinda prefer your flatliner from the ropes though.

Gionna: I do too, I've laid out many an opponent with it.

Josh then noticed the yawn coming from her.

Josh: Well, seeing as it's past midnight, I think someone needs some sleep.

Gionna: Yeah, I feel really tired.

She didn't even need to say anything else, as Josh then picked her up bridesmaid style and carried her through to the bedroom where he laid her on the bed and told her to get ready for some sleep.

Josh: I'll be right back...

He then switched games, and set it up for Black Ops 4, before leaving the console in rest mode for the night so he could play it in the morning. He then went back to Gionna, who was checking her messages on her phone in just a long shirt and panties, while Josh went for his traditional bed attire of just a pair of boxers. When Gio noticed this, she almost became entranced by his body.

Gionna: Are you deliberately trying to tease me right now? Because if you are, then it's working.

Josh: I could say the same for you, with a shirt like that and hardly anything on in terms of your bottom half...

Gionna couldn't help but lean into Josh and kiss his neck, with Josh himself almost losing his senses at the feeling.'

Josh: God, I've missed this...

Gionna: Me too...

They then pulled away from each other as surprisingly, they were joined by a little bundle of fur.

Josh: Hey, Spirit...

Gionna: You wanna come sleep with us, girl?

She gave a little bark as she curled herself up and quickly drifted off at the bottom of the bed. As Gionna soon followed, Josh was still wide awake, and looked out of the window, and up at the night sky.

Josh: You're just amazing, Gionna, and at Wrestlemania this Sunday, I'm gonna show the whole world exactly just how much you will mean to me going forward...
