~Lucy~

The next day. I woke up feeling the burden of Natsu gone, but somehow it felt like a dream. I noticed I had tears, maybe I did have a bad dream, but I can't remember it. My only questions is that......Why does bad things happen to me? I really want to disappear from this world. It still hurts inside me. I couldn't forget him. I sat at the edge of my bed and rubbed my eyes. I stared at my hands that held Natsu tightly before he left. A few second later I noticed a droplet on my palm. Oh, I'm crying again.......nothing new. I wiped the tears and stood up.

I went down stairs seeing Sting cooking breakfast.

"Hey sleepy head! You're finally awake. Want some eggs?" He asked as he smiles at me like nothing happened from yesterday.

(Yoro~chan: Wait, what Sting said sounded a bit wrong....hehe)

"Yeah.." I smiled weakly. Apparently, I really can't smile normally in a puzzled state like this. His face looked confused, but at the same time worried.

"What's the matter?" He asked softly and in a gentle manner. That question made me burst inside, wanting me to shout something like. 'What's the matter?? Why would you ask that?? It's obvious!!!!' But, This is Sting. I need to control myself. He's my friend. I don't want to scream at him. Fortunately, the anger inside me is still bearable to hide.

I shrugged and smiled a little bigger. "I don't know. I felt a little off this morning.." I excused. He smiled goofily, like not even realizing what I feel! I sat down on the couch, slouching, feeling like a worthless person who doesn't know what to do in this world.

"Sting?" I asked as I stare at the bright sky that never seemed to disappear from my mind.

"Yes? what is it, Lucy?" he asked. Sting stopped cooking and listened to my question.

"Am I important to this world?"

"What are you talking about? of course you are." He walked closer and ruffled my hair playfully. "Here, watch some tv to cheer you up." Sting grabbed the remote, dialed a few buttons and went back to cooking. I looked at the tv and it was in the news. Maybe I should entertain myself with the news. So, I sat up straight and watched. There was a reported with purple hair, she looks cute, but, she seemed to look scared and frustrated. The dark night background and the faces of the people caught my full attention. So, this video isn't live. oh, it happened yesterday.

"There was a sudden accident that happened here in Barcelona st. Magnolia. A tragic hit-and-run happened. Unfortunately, There is only one witness. Her name is Lisanna." My mind went blank hearing that word, that name. Lisanna? Natsu's childhood friend? but, isn't she suppose to be dead?? My eyes widened in shock, not believing that a girl that was said to be dead, was alive. She looks exactly like Mira jane, but younger. Is this really her?? The questions just keep building up in my head. I turned to Sting and I guess he can't hear the tv.

"I'm sorry! I'm in a hurry! He's in East Forest hospital right?" She asked as she looked so serious.

"He?? Who's he?" I whispered to myself so Sting can't hear me.

"Uh...yeah. Can You please tell us what you saw? How did the car hit the man? Please. You're the only witness." The reporter pleaded. Lisanna turned to face the camera and let out a deep breath.

"Look. I was going somewhere, when I saw a guy running at the side walk. I was curious why someone was running out so late. Then inch by inch he was going to the middle of the road. I looked at the direction he was going and I saw a car. I recognized him and shouted his name, but he didn't look at me. Then he was harshly hit by the car. Instead of being thrown upwards, the car went over him. The car stopped for a moment, but quickly drove away. I ran and looked at him, and he was my old friend. That's when I immediately called an ambulance." She explained in a quick pace.

"Then why did you stay here? Instead of going with your friend in the hospital?"

"After the ambulance arrived, The police came to me.. They wanted me to describe what I remember. I tried to remember the license plate of the car. Now if you'll excuse me-"

"Wait! Last question." She paused and turned back.

"Where were you going? and who's this man?" She asked.

"I was going to a place I promised I'll be! He is an old friend of mine. His name is...." The answer made my surroundings feel so dense. I waited for her to say the name.

"His name is Natsu Dragneel. Now if you'll excuse me. Goodbye." She said as she hurriedly turned her back against the camera and ran swiftly through the group of people.

"Okay, from my sources. They said that 'Natsu Dragneel' is in the hospital, and is now in need of surgery. Unfortunately, no other doctor can do the procedure. This surgery is a difficult process. If one mistake happened or an organ, or even just a vein that was hit incorrect might result of the patient dying in an instant. That's why not other doctor agreed to do this. If any doctor is available for this procedure, please call immdietly!" The reporter said sadly, and terrified at the stated Natsu's in. I was entirely shocked, fear controlling every bit of me. I was traumatized by what happened yesterday. I couldn't stand this. Natsu?? He...... Could die?? I knew my body was as stiff as a stone, but I forced it to move.

I quickly jolted up from my seat. I grabbed the remote and turned the tv furiously. I suddenly knelt down to the ground. I noticed myself crying. I couldn't stop. Then Sting ran to me and asked why. I couldn't answer.

"What's the matter??" He asked again in a panic, but I still couldn't answer. I couldn't even say a single word clearly. I saw his face. I saw Natsu. Then I remembered why I was tearing up when I woke up. My dream.....my dream!! I remember....seeing Natsu....He was holding me tightly saying." Don't cry, Lucy. All I want for you is to find your happiness. Now, Goodbye." Then he turned his back on my. I called for him, hoping he would come back, but he only looked back at me with a smile. Then I saw a tear one his eye. Before he disappeared, his lips moved to the words. "I love you." Remembering that made me cry even more. I tried to pull myself together. I need to go to the Hospital.

"Sting!" I called. "W-were going somewhere!!" I order, as I quickly stand up and ran to my room to change.

~Mira~

"Well, to make that whole story short. We made the whole act. We made the story of Lisanna being killed and we made up us murdering someone."

"How about that Minerva girl?" He asked.

"She was in this too." I told Laxus.

"What time is it?" I asked. Loke turned to his watch and said.

"It's 10:00 am."

"R-really? I did sleep a whole day!" I was surprised at that time. After explaining everything to Laxus, he sat there, trying to process my story.

"Wait! What'll you do if something bad happens either Lucy or Natsu because of this!!" He asked. From the tone of his voice, I already knew he wasn't asking. He was already demanding an answer.

"What kind of bad things?" I asked. "What could possibly happen with that short act?"

"Well, where are they now?" He asked, proving a huge, huge point.

"I'm not their care taker. Nor a stalker. I don't know where they are in every second in time."

"What was your goal in this?? What did you want to achieve by doing this?!" I stayed silent as I accept every sermon he throws at me.

"Our goal is protection." I stated, sweet, short and straight to the point.

"What protection??"

"Protection for Natsu! He's been looking for Lisanna, hoping he'll find her! But he can't!! he shouldn't!"

"What do you mean?"

"Enough with this. What were you doing here in the first place?"

"I needed to tell you something. Something bad, do you know anything about-" He stated with a sad voice. Then suddenly Loke's phone rang. He brought it out and answered a call.

"Hello?..........About what?........are you serious??!?! No! No! When did you see her?..........o-okay.....sure. Bye, thanks." Then sweat suddenly trickled down his face. The utter silence made us fear something we didn't even know.

"What was it?" I asked. My body felt heavy, my mind went to zero percent to how I care about the world. At this moment, what Loke will say is the most important thing now. I couldn't read Loke's face. His face reveals a terrified expression of a person. So, I tried to prepare myself for the worst.

"It........" He started to tremble so hard. "It.....was...Minerva...." I was a little bit dumbfounded to the answer. What about Minerva? Nothing scary about her. The suspicious air went light a bit, but I tried to expect the unexpected.

"What about her? Did she say anything to you??" I hurriedly asked him. Then he suddenly stood up from his seat, looking down, and was trembling from head to toe. That made me scared of what he was about to say. I just want him to spit it out! I can't stand this curious feeling anymore!

"S-she said............She's.....here......Lisannna...is here!! LISANNA IS HERE!!" Loke shouted in fear, his hands were on his head, trying to calm down, but just can't. The second I heard that name, a terrifying chill ran through out my entire body. She's here........No, no, no!

"What the hell are you talking about?!?!?!?" I shouted, furiously, rage flowing in my veins like a dangerous poison.

"Minerva....she." Then he suddenly ran and grabbed the remote. He opened the tv, revealing the news. "This!"

"Goodbye." Said a familiar figure. A girl with white hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. It was Lisanna! So, Minerva was right! I tried to stand up and run to the door, but as I was taking a few steps on the floor I suddenly fell down. There was pain in my stomach to my feet.

"Mira! Don't stand up! Your have wounds that might open up! It's dangerous." Said Laxus as he ran to me and helped me up.

"But, but, I-I nee-need to.......warn......Natsu...." Then I fell down. Laxus carried me to the bed and looked at Loke who was looking as frustrated.

"Warn Natsu about what??"

"About Lisanna!" I shouted as I tried to get out from the bed, but he kept stopping me. He stared at me with a curious and at the same time focused look. Why does he wanna know so badly? I need to hurry! If Lisanna......

"How's Lisanna? What's her connection to you?"

"She's my little sister!!" I shouted, then his eyes suddenly widened in the word 'little sister'. He sat back down his seat and seemed to remember some deep memories.

"And......why do you want to warn Natsu?" He asked calmly.

"Because I hate Her!!!" I shouted at him, anger fully controlling my entire existence. Loke left the room, feeling like a burden to just watch out quarrel. Laxus suddenly stood up from his seat and looked at me with a pitied look.

"Don't hate your sister...." He suggested. Then at that second I remembered something. He told me about his little sister.

"Oh, I'm sorry Laxus. Can you tell me why? Is it because of your little sister? What happened to her?" I asked, at that time. I forgot about Lisanna. I wanted to know about Laxus' past. I wanted to know.....he was never open to people, but now, I want him to open up.

He sighed.

"It was five years ago.... I was 18 years old and she was 17. Me and my sister were really close. I used to protect her from anyone that'll

hurt her. But, suddenly I woke up and I couldn't find her. I looked

everywhere, I searched my whole, not to mention that my house is huge! I couldn't find her. I asked the helpers, but, no useful reply. So I had no other option but to ask the only one in the house besides my and my sister. He tol-" As Laxus explains I realized that he was saying that he only lives with his dad and sister.

"What about your mother?" His face turned disappointed all of a sudden.

"I never got to meet her. When I was five and my sister was three. They sent me to my uncle and grandfather, but brought me back to them when mother died."

"Why?"

"I don't know either."

"I'm sorry. You can stop if you want to..." I said, saddened by his past. I never wanted to bring back bad memories. Especially other people's memories. I could see why Laxus shut himself away from people. I told him to stop if he wanted, but he still continued.

"I asked Father,and he told me that, She was kidnapped......"

----Flashback----

~Laxus~

"Father! Where is she?" I asked, panicking to the point to run out of the house and do anything to find her.

"Your sister? She......she was...kidnapped..." He said, roughly. The word kidnapped triggered something in me.

"What?!? HOW? WHEN??"

"This morning.....I woke up and I saw a note in her room.." He gave me a piece of paper.

I'm gone now

Please don't look for me.

I don't think you can even find me if you do.

"How do you know she was kidnapped?!?! This is not proof enough!!!" I shouted with a tone of pure anger and contempt. I could never imagine my life without my little sister!! I knew the letter was from her, her hand writing is exactly the same as her's. Is she really kidnapped?

"That's enough Laxus!" His shout stunned me. If was so loud and fierce. I froze there to where I stood, taking a few steps back. "I-I'm sorry for shouting...please...just go back to your room and hope she could come back.."

I went back to the room, contemplating. Nothing will happen if I sit here and wait! I need to find her!! I'm old enough! I'm eighteen! But, she's fourteen...yeah, she did finish school, but, that doesn't exempt her from danger.

I jolted up from my seat and ran to the door. I opened the door, revealing, my father??

"Father, what are you doing here?"

"I heard news from sources, about your sister..."

"Did they find her? Is she safe? Where is she now?" I was so excited, but what I didn't know was a horrible truth. I didn't know what is true or false no, but I only had a few things to believe. So, I have no choice but believe it's true, even though I have no idea if it's the truth. Father, looked down, trembling, wailing a bit. At the moment, the hopeful smile on my face disappeared one by one.

"N-no! No, no no no!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?!?!?! TELL ME!!" I shouted as I stared at him.

"She.......s-she........Laxus, your sister is dead!!" He shouted with grief in his voice. The whole fact surprised me. My body felt weak. I felt weak. It was like stabbed with a sharp sword. I never felt so depressed in my whole life. I couldn't describe this horrible sensation! I slammed the door in his face and cried alone in my room.

---Flashback over--

~Mira~

"After that, I almost went insane. I almost turn bad, rebelled, never listening to anyone, and I almost lost control of my humanity, but That was 'almost'. I always think of something to stop me from doing all those things. I always kept in mind that if my sister was still alive, she wouldn't want me to waste my life like this.....that's why I don't want you to hate your younger sister." He explained everything to me. He opened up to me. I was touched and at the same time, felt guilty to making him speak up.

"I'm sorry...but that won't happen. You don't know what Lisanna is like!" I shouted, making him surprised, snapping him out of his deep thoughts.

"What do you mean? Just what kind of person is she?" He asked, so intent on finding out why I hated her so much. Oh, Laxus if you only saw what she can do.

"I don't need to tell you that. All I need to do is to stop her from getting closer to Natsu!" I tried to stand up and walk, but Laxus, again, stopped me.

"Why? What is your problem between them? What are you so afraid of?!" He shouted at me. I know he has a problem in the past about his sister, but I won't be stopped by reasonings.

"She'll kill him....." I whispered, almost crying, face so desperate to stop her.

"That's insane!"

"That's Lisanna!" I exclaimed. There was a sudden silence in the room. Laus is trying to process what I just said. I don't know if he'll believe me. I'm not forcing him. I don't even know why I'm hear explaining this to him while Natsu might be in danger at these moments.

"Well........if that's how this Lisanna acts. I wanna see for myself. Let's go. I'll help you. So, were in North Forest Hospital. We need to hurry if we want to go to East Forest. Come on." He said as he helped me stand up.

~Lucy~

I hurriedly ran down the stairs, worried about Natsu. I never stopped thinking about him the moment He left yesterday....the dream!! Oh no, does that mean? That, the dream was......was a premonition? I can't believe I didn't see it earlier! I was at the door when Sting called me.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"Where your needed!"

I pulled Sting out of the room, quickly called a taxi and went in.

"Where are you going ms?" the taxi driver asked.

"We're going to East Forest Hospital! please hurry!" I said in a hurry.

"What?? It's 9:00 in the morning. Why do you wanna go to the hospital? a-are you feeling okay?? did something happen?? what?? you can tell me, right?" Sting kept bombarding me with questions. I shooked my head.

"It's not that..." I whispered. "I'll tell you when get there.." I noticed that my voice sounded a little weak and worried. I already knew that by the look on Sting's face, he understood me even without me saying anything. Oh, Natsu, I wish you're alright.

~Natsu~

Lucy, will Love me if I've treated you so badly?
