Arjun's POV
          We could say that was the most important and somewhat happy day of our life. Adrika and Nakul were happy. Everyone loves the idea of their union. How it was supposed to happen. Who could say no to such a proposal. We all were happy and teasing him about it. He was really playful evey time but this was something he never took jokes upon. And his worries were not illogical either. At the beginning of their relationship Adrika were not sure. When she came around they had to part ways for years. Then the Island. Then marriage in Kampilya. Their road was a rocky one. So much they had seen just at the very beginning. Now they deserve a peaceful life with each other. The way she conducted that court was something that we all should learn from her. She was the ocean of knowledge that a life time won't be enough to learn from her. After jyesth bhrata's Incrownation when the king set the condition about being independent king. She got up to announce her support. Watching her kneeling in front of jyesth bhrata was something beyond understanding. Power was submitting to righteousness. Yes she was power. And for the first time i felt power was in right hands. I heard duryodhan saying something to Mamashree Sakuni.

"Now I want to take Khandavprasth back to keep this woman as my slave Mamashree." He said which set fire on my bones. But then i thought what Adrika had done. Now if somehow they take back Khandavprasth she will have to submit to them.

"No my dear duryodhan! learn to respect your enemy. Specially when the enemy is Adrika Idivata. The woman is queen of loopholes my dear. She won't leave one. Didn't you heard what she vowed, she will be devotee to Khandavprasth till the day Yudhistir is the king of that land. Woman is very cunning my dear. She submitted to Yudhistir. Not Khandavprasth." Mamashree Sakuni said. 

                 I looked at Adrika standing beside jyesth  bhrata. Her eyes turned to meet mine. She gave me a smirk to show that she was aware of what was happening. This kind of act only possible only for two people. Madhav and Adrika. When ever i think one, another comes into thoughts involuntarily. For me they were never differ from each other. But my ecstasy didn't last very long. The king announced that our mother could not accompany us. That made everyone sad. Saying goodbye to her was the hardest part of all. Droupadi and she held each other crying. Mata gave droupadi some advice. Adrika wasn't with them. She left somewhere after the court.

"Nakul where is Adrika?" Jyesth bhrata asked. "Is she not coming with us?"

"I don't know jyesth bhrata. She didn't said anything to me about leaving now. But I didn't saw her after Court." Nakul said.

"Maybe she is looking after some travelling arrangements. You know her jyesth bhrata. How much she like traveling." Sahadev said. I smiled to myself. Nakul loved her. He loved her to death. But it was sahadev who knew her the most. It was evident in a second.

"You are right Chhote Kumar." She said coming from one direction. She has changed. She was wearing her travelling cloak over a all white dress and hair secured by a metal ring. Ready to travel. She was coming with us indeed.

"Jyesth! Several commoners of hastinapur are wanting to come along. So we need to plan our path. I was doing that. I have marked places to rest and spend nights here. You all also make yourself familiar with it before starting." She said giving five of us maps. I opened mine. It was so intricately detailed.

"When did you make these? These are so detailed." I asked.

"Yesterday night, when we were dead sure we will ask Khandavprasth." She replied.

"All by yourself ? Because I haven't seen cartographers yesterday." Sahadev said.

"To be a war strategist, you need to learn a little cartography sometimes." She said.

"This isn't little." Bhrata bhim said. She laughed a little.

"With so many people we need to plan ahead. And Droupadi is also with us. We can't travel just like that." She said.

"But is it right the city people to go with us?" Jyesth bhrata asked.

"It's their right to stay where ever they like. You can not stop them. If they want to leave everything they have and stay in The Island. No one has the rights to stop them. You can have a say about letting them stay in your kingdom. But not letting them leave their kingdom." She said.

"Jyesth bhrata kingdom can't just made with soil and pebbles. We need people to stay with in the cities as well. " Bhrata bhim said. She then went to mata and Droupadi.

"Have anything for me or Droupadi got it covered?" She asked

"No one can take your place in this family Adrika. Not me. Not any other wife of the brother's." Panchali said.

"I was just trying to ease the tension Droupadi. I didn't mean to hurt you." Adrika said.

"You only said that we aren't differ. That I'm the deed and you are destiny. Then how can destiny hurt the deed. Remember you control me..." Panchali said, expecting Adrika to finish.

"And you give me direction." And she did.

"This is what I want my daughter in laws to do. Iniquity can easily happen to the persons who are in the path of righteousness. Droupadi can advice them to that path but my dearie, only you can save them from any iniquity. Take care of everyone Adrika. You are there with them is the only thread that I will be clinging to." Mata said. Three of them hugged each other.

       We started our journey. Five of us on our hourses at the front. Droupadi in a palanquin. In between city people. Adrika was covering everyone. One time she was with us, the other moment she was with Droupadi. She even ran her horse into wild to bring some herbs or berries for kids Droupadi or bharat bhim. We were discussing how agile she could be when she came to us.

"Jyesth, in about 45 minutes we will reach our first stop point. People are walking for a long time now, we all need rest." She said.

"That's right we are at the entrance of the forest path, at some distance we will come across the lake." Nakul said reading the map.

"Ok. Sahadev tell this to the people. Nakul and Adrika you two go ahead and prepare the space for our people's stay for the night." Jyesth bhrata said. They both nodded and left.

      We all took rest for the day by the lake. That was a beautiful place. Full of wild fruits. People had planty to eat there. Then we discussed our next day journey with a drink prepared by Adrika. She prepared it for everyone for better sleep and tiredness. I believed people loved their new queen. Who was not just a queen by looks but by heart. She gave medicines to people who were not feeling well. And treat wounds of people. But we retired early as per her instructions she wanted to cover as much distance as possible when the atmosphere had the coolness of morning. That's how all did happened. We started our journey well before sunrise. Till the sun came up to our head we were quite close to Khandavprasth. But that wasn't the only change that was happening. Adrika looked very tired and almost sick. She was constantly sweating, coughing and dozing off. Nakul was around her all the time as expected. When we could see the Khandavprasth, Adrika was looking very miserable.

"Adrika are you okay? You don't look very good." I asked.

"I don't feel right. Seems like I'm going to be sick. I need my coat. I'm very cold." She said and left towards Droupadi.

"Cold? She is sweating like a waterfall." Bhrata bhim said.

"Nakul lead the way. I'm going after her." I said and didn't wait for his response. When I reached her.

"Adrika, come inside the palanquin. You are sick." Droupadi said.

"I'm fine Droupadi just a little cold. Pass me my fur coat."she said.

"You are wet from your own sweat Adrika. Arya ask her to come inside. She is burning up." Droupadi said touching Adrika's forehead.

"Panchali is right Adrika. Not much road is left now. We are close. You can rest a bit. You may be travelling  a lot  in this past days, your body need  rest." I said

"No I can't rest here. This uneasiness is not for tiredness. It is something else. A big threat is coming our way. I can sense that." She took her coat and both of us left to the front.

        We were at the land of Khandavprasth. We were talking about Nagas living here and a possible war. I looked at Adrika. She was looking extremely sick by now. But was very alert. Nakul was holding her from falling. Yet she wasn't showing any sign of pain. Like her body was experiencing a lot of pain but her mind was ignoring it.

"Jyesth bhrata we need to hurry. Adrika is looking very sick." Sahadev said.

"Yes. Panchali!" Jyesth bhrata said.

"I need to do bhumi pujan. I want to do this with her. But..." Panchali said looking at her.

"Don't worry panchali, after my amazing cooking Adrika will be good as new. Is not it Adrika?" Bhrata bhim said making us laugh. Adrika also gave a small laugh.

      Both ladies started bhumi pujan. Adrika was weak but seemed like this bhumi pujan was giving her strength. She was gaining her powers.

"This place is against all rules of nature. That is the reason of my down health. Droupadi's bhumi pujan purified some of the land. So I am feeling a lot better." Adrika said relaxing everyone a bit.

        But we could not relax for a long time. As we were under attack by nagas. There were snakes everywhere. We all started fighting. Being at her weakest Adrika still managed to stop most of the Nagas to reach the civilians. And I was the one who faced Takshak their leader. I defeated him but before i could kill him he hide in the mayaban. But several of the civilians were bit by the snakes. Droupadi was hurt by it alot. But when she came to know that we can save them she requested to do it as fast as possible.

"Adrika can't you do anything?" Bhrata bhim asked.

"I could save them if they are normal snakes. These are magical snakes. I'm prakriti. The form of Aadishakti. But Maya isn't in my powers." She said. For the first time something negative came out of her mouth.

"But I heard Govind's sister can break all kinds of maya." Panchali said.

"Of course it's true Droupadi but im not that sister. Wo to meri Jogamaya Subhadra hai. If she was here may be she could break this." Adrika said. Ah.. Subhadra. Another part of Madhav's life. So was mine. Our meeting was for some brief movement but Almighty know I never forget her.

"But Adrika do something please." Droupadi plead again.

"By the force of souls i can hold their lives until the snakes themselves come to take back the poision." She said.

"You can. Then I will force them to come. I don't care with who I have to fight." I said.

Nakul's POV
    I knew something wasn't right with Adrika. I never been around her when she was so physically exhausted. I was with her the whole time. She was burning up one moment then sweating the next. Her head was spinning. She almost passed out several times. She was trying to look better for all the others but I knew my love was in a lot of pain. Her body was getting visibly tied. Lips chapped. Eyes had dark circle in just one day. She wasn't looking healthy. The nearer we get to Khandavprasth the more sicker she became. I was giving her herbs that could help her but nothing was affecting. After the bhumi pujan she looked a little better then we had to fought a war with Nagas. So when she said she will try to use her soul element to keep so many people alive I knew this was not a good propasal. I had to stop her but again I knew she will not listen to me But then she said something that stopped my heart for a second.

" You have to be very fast because I am not strong enough to held so many people for long. The longer I chant this Mantra, the more poison would circulate in my body."

"No... Then we will find some other way. In no possible way you can do  this. Not with this kind of health." I said panicking.

"There is no other way. My life is in your hands." She said. Then she turned way from us and sat in the middle of the unconscious bodies in a meditation pose.

"Maa Prakriti! Give me strength."

       We saw her body lit up with green aura. That soon engulfed all the people. I couldn't see her like this. Only i know how i spent all these time when Bhrata Arjun fought with Indradev. I was relived when Basudev arrived. I knew that now he can save his sister. But when I looked at Adrika a line of blood was coming out of her mouth. I could not stop myself
.
"Adrika" I yelled.

"Don't worry Nakul. My sister is not that weak." Basudev said.

   We all looked at her. Nagas were there to save the people. She got up with a smile on her face. But blood on lips. That was some unusual beauty I was witnessing.

"Bhrata Krishn!" Was all she said before loosing her sense in my arms like the very first time I told her how much I love her.
