Adrika's POV

       Parth and Subhadra needed to stay in Dwarika for a while before journey back to Indraprastha. Everyone else left just after marriage. Only mata Kunti and mahamantri vidur stayed back at Bhrata krishn's request. Baldau asked me to stop pitamah Vishm somehow. It took me some time. Yes. But I did manage to make him stay. As Kakashree Vidur said. That man can't deny me anything. That evening me and Parth were discussing some ploys and lost the track of time. Bhrata krishn had to come and tell us about it.

"It is ample for today. You have my this sister for life Parth. You can discuss war anytime you want. But my other sister must be waiting for you. Tomorrow morning you and Subhadra are going to start your journey for Indraprastha. Take some rest for it." Bhrata krishn said.

"And Adrika?" Parth asked restlessly. Looking at me. I shrugged as I also didn't had any wind about it.

"You can have her after she become the bride of your family. Until then let us have her. We all want to spend time with our dearest princess." He answered.

"That means... That.. " Parth stammered. His excitement was evident.

"Yes. Baldau thinks we should not detain it any further. Nakul and Adrika promised you that they will wait for your return. So there is no reason to push it back." Bhrata krishn said.

"That is the best news for Indraprastha." Parth said. I wasn't showing any emotions. I was glad his focus was on bhrata krishn.

"Yes and you will be the official carrier of the news. Bua, mahaamahim and Kakashree agreed to the marriage to be happen in coming trayodashi." Bhrata krishn said.

"What about the Islanders. I can't get married without them." I said.

"Of course meri behna. After parth and Subhadra's departure we will leave for Island right away." He replied.

          Low and behold the time of Subhadra's bidai was here. Crying, hugging with flood of emotions. Having less than negative Indian friends I never witnessed this part of the wedding before. I was wondering what Subhadra was feeling. What every bride feels at this time? So many emotions they must have go through. Happy and excited to start a new life with their husband, devastated to leave everything behind, their whole life, identity. Scared of the new and big changes. That must be such an emotional roller coaster for an Indian bride. I would never feel that. My brother spared me that ride. I thought sarcastically.
      
       If this was the marriage of my life, then what kind of marriage it would be. Without my maa, baba, sky. Without Megan who was planning to be a bridesmaid. She bought a lehnga in an Indian craft fair. Henry, who was watching all the cheesey bollywood movies, just to find "his" song to dance at my wedding. Mrs. Doe, who was planning to make me my wedding cake at her husband's bakery. My maa who was planning to pass down her wedding jewellery to me which was running in her maternal side of the family  for generation. She must have so many dreams for it. And I was marrying without any of those. This wasn't the wedding I dreamed off. I wishes I could talk to someone about it. I knew it was my righteousness to finish what I started but at this extreme. I knew I would not going to oppose it. But I wished I could talk to someone about it. Not my brothers. Baldau even if knew everything, liked to pretend he doesn't. He talked about my previous life as less as possible. And bhrata krishn, he wasn't seem very intrested in addressing the situation either. I didn't realised we reached the borders of the Island. Kayero was there to welcome us.

"My queen.. Lords.. Welcome to the Island." He said excitedly.

"Hello Kayero.. We are meeting after quite a while isn't it?" Bhrata krishn said.

"It is Sir. And Islanders will be thrilled to know your presence." He answered.

"How life treating you?" Baldau asked.

"Very pleasant Sir. We are blessed with a baby girl 3 months back." He answered. That caught my attention. He and Komi were desperate for a baby. I was treating komi for the same.

"That's wonderful. What you name her?" I asked.

"We didn't. We planed to visit you my grace, when Komi and our baby is strong enough to travel. So you could name her." He said that melted my heart.

      We reached the manor. I left my brothers with Kayero and left for my room. After a while Komi came with her baby. That was the most beautiful baby girl I had ever seen. I took her in my arms.

"Name my daughter, my grace." Komi said.

"Welcome to the world baby Mia" I said. I didn't know why but that name came to my voice automatically.

"That's beautiful... " Komi said. Just then another female centaur came and informed Komi was needed in kitchen. She looked at me and the baby. I understood.

"It's ok Komi. You can leave her here with me for some time. I'll try to make her sleep." I said. She beamed and bowed.

        I made a small baby bed on my bed with blankets and made her sleep. She was extremely calm and busy playing with my hair. Then something came on me and I talked to her. I told her everything. She wasn't understanding. But maybe that's what I wanted. A listener. But l felt like baby Mia wasn't the only one listening. I wasn't very concerns towards that as I fall asleep beside the sleeping infant. When I woke up, baby Mia was still sleeping in my arms, completely comfortable with blanket wrapped around us. Maybe Komi came back while I was sleeping. I looked up to Baldau smiling down to us. I could tell it was already dark outside.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"Little past sunset. You two missed lunch." He answered.

"She didn't woke up at all? She must be hungry." I was about to wake the baby. But he stopped me.

"Komi fed her in her sleep. She was saying her daughter has hard time sleeping, it was the first time she slept well. So she didn't want to wake you or her up." I touched Mia's head.

"How could she be so comfortable sleeping around me. When her mother isn't around. Infants normally detect their mother's smell." I said.

"Is there any bigger mother than the mother nature herself?" He said. I didn't replied. "Get ready for the meeting. I'll send Komi to take her."

            After a light snack I got ready and went to the meeting room. My brothers were already there and talking with my court. Everyone congratulated me. Then the serious talks. As I was the prakriti Kanya after two yugas no one knows the marriage ritual for my kind.

"So there is no one?" I asked.

"What about Shiara? She is ancient. Doesn't she supposed to know?" Bhrata krishn asked.

"The ancient one said she have seen the marriage but she isn't familiar with the rituals." Helisha said.

"We can contact elves. They live for centuries. There must be some old folk who can know about it." Kayero suggested. That's reasonable.

"Pardon my queen. But elves were not the part human or magical world for several centuries. They were in hibernation for a loads of long time. So we can try there but the hopes are slim." An court member said. He was new. Young man. About my age. Little younger maybe.

"You may be right... Um.. Please forgive me I don't remember you.." I said trying really hard to remember.

"It's not your fault my queen... I haven't blessed with a meeting with you before. I'm the new beta of the wolf pack. I took the responsibility just last week." He replied.

"New beta. Alpha what happened to beta Nemo. Is he alright?" I asked.

"Yes Adrika. He is fine. He stepped down on his own will. He was the beta from my father's time. Old man needed his retirement." Aeser said. If he stepped down on his own then this must be

"You must be Noah then, beta Nemo's son?" I said.

"Father said hello, my grace." He said. Handsome, smart and good with words. Good addition to the court. After a bit of experience he had potential for bigger responsibility.

"What do you suggest beta Noah? I believe you have one. " I asked.

"I do, but.. " He looked at Aeser.

"Don't worry this isn't your Alpha's pack house, it's my court. Voice your thoughts without hesitation." I said chuckling.

"Noah I swear don't you dare start your wizard theory again." Aeser said.

"Wizards!" I said. I haven't heard of a wizard here.

"Yes my queen. Wizards. Magical folks. They live for trillions of years. We can definitely find one old enough. And they are the perfect race to do the job as it was supposed to be there job." Noah said excitedly.

"Find where? It's been centuries any wizards walk on this land." Aeser said visibly irritated.

"But there are loads in Elvin territory. You are friends with one of them. The Gray Wizard." Noah argued.

"Can we contact with him?" Baldau asked.

"No. Wizards are big travellers. He doesn't stay at one place. We could search for years." I dismissed the idea. I didn't want to meet any character from my made up past life.

"But good old Alatar is residing near forest of Mirkwood. We can contact him." Noah said.

"How are you so sure?" Bhrata krishn said.

"I did my research Lord. He is here."

"Well then it is your responsibility to bring him here." Baldau ordered.

"You two can take forward the meeting from here. I don't feel I'm needed any further." I said standing up.

          They both nodded in dismissing me. It was awkward to discuss my own wedding in front of my brothers. I was finishing a painting I started a while ago. It was a painting of Nakul. I planed on giving it as a wedding present. Everyone knew how much he adored his looks. My toughest competition to getting his attention was mirror. He would be happy to see himself beautifully painted. There comes a maid saying bhrata krishn was having a temper tantrum. What... What is up with this man. I went to his chambers. Sure he was in fact was having a huge temper tantrums. He was refusing to have any food or drink. And throwing pillows at my maids. Komi included. It would have been hilarious if I were in a better mood. I knew it was one of his leelas but I was too tired to play along. He stoped throwing pillows when he saw me. Instead he sat down frowning. I motioned everyone to leave.

"What happened bhrata krishn?" I asked. He didn't answered and pretended that he didn't heard me.

"Bhrata krishn! What happened?" I asked again in a louder tone.

"Don't talk to me. It is all because of you." He said.

"What did I do?" I asked confused.

"I can't have any say in my sister's wedding. All is happening according to you and Baldau. You stole my happiness from me you thief." He said. How dare he..

"Oh this is preposterous.. Everything is happening according to me. How could you say that? Do you even know what kind of wedding I want... My brother. Lord shree krishna. Knows every living thing.. Do you know what your sister want.. No you don't. And you didn't even bother asking." I yelled.

"Is that so.. This is not you want.. Magical wedding with some grumpy old wizard making your bond." He said in the same tone. That angered me even further.

"Who in the right mind will want that... But no I have to.. I want a wedding with my loved one around... A sangeet where my American friends can dance at cheesy Bollywood songs.. I want my friends to play as me and my fiance and tell our story. I want my those star plus serial songs. I want to wear my Maa's wedding jewellery... This is the wedding of my life. If I ever return to my time I can't marry anyone. My sole won't allow. I don't even know I will or not. Ap vi to kuch nai batate." I yelled back but voice cracked towards end.

(You also don't say anything)

"Like you have problem with everything except for Nakul." He yelled again.

"Why would I...? I love him."  I yelled. His expression changed suddenly. That even shocked me.

"And that isn't enough to get married?" He asked. I sat down. He was right.. I behaved so childish. "Adrike you are stuck in between time, in between yugas. In between lives. But for him. You are his life. His past, present and future. Adrika a man is waiting with all he has for you to enter in his life. Loves you that madly to yanked you away from death. It is not justice that you feel this marriage which is everything for him, an obligation. Your constant drifting can't go unnoticed by him. Your life is incomplete here. But what right you have to keep his incomplete as well?" He asked.

"You are right... After giving my everything to him I still haven't completely accepted him. This isn't fair. Not for him. Or me... (I wippef my whole face) God I was so  over reactive." I said. I saw him smiling. "I must be seeming insane to you."

"No. No. Don't you ever think that. This grasp on your reality is what keeping you sane." He said.

"Really...? What I can see that I became over reactive and inconsiderate." I said.

"That can be fixed soon. But don't loose grasp on it behna." He said. I nodded while hiding my face on his chest.

Arjun's POV

       I was worried about Droupadi the whole time. How she might react. But that piece of news I was carrying was helpful in keeping my mind busy. Subhadra was extremely happy about that as well. She was asking me about everyone's reaction would be when we tell them the news. It was her idea that we would tell Nakul in the end just to palling around a bit.

"No Arya it's my right... After all I am the bhavi. Apne devar ji ko chidhane ka ye adhikar to hona chaiye." She said. I smiled.

(I should get a chance to tease my brother in law)

            We reached Indraprastha, after a tensed welcome by Droupadi we get to rest a bit. I could see the eagerness in Nakul.

"Arjun... Adrika didn't came back with you.. Is she riding after you?" Jyesth bhrta asked.

"No jyesth bhrata. She will return when we need her again. She left for Island after we start our journey." I answered. Nakul was sad instantly. He got up and got away.

"Arya change of plan please.. He looked really sad." Subhadra panicked.

"I knew you can't pull this off. You haven't see our Nakul's love for your jiji. But you started it so you have to finish it." I replied.

"What are you two talking about?" Bhrata bhim asked impatiently.

"Good news it is bhrata bhim. Mata, kakashree and pitamah found the auspicious tithi for Nakul and Adrika's marriage." I announced.

"Sach Subhadra?" Droupadi asked turning subhadra towards her.

"Han jiji. My jiji and your friend is permanently coming here. Into the family." Subhadra said. We all hugged each other. "Now Subhadra go and tell this to Nakul." I said.

        She nodded and left. We all went after her. We all wanted to see Nakul's reaction while hearing this news. He was standing in a corridor looking towards the horizon. Subhadra cleared her throat.

"Aray.. Bhabi.. You? Here?" Nakul said.

"Did I disturbed you Devar ji?" Subhadra asked.

"No. I was just thinking how long your jiji is going to punish me like this." Sahadev chuckled to which bhrata bhim smak his head.

"I know. She should not have do that. I even said this to her. But she said the message she will send to you will be enough for you to forget this crime." Subhadra said. My love you are definitely your brother's sister.

"Message? What message?" He asked.

"She send a message for you with me. But you are already so mad at her so what use." Subhadra played around words.

"Subhadra is playing with our brother like a fish in a rod." Bhrata bhim said.

"Poor kumar Nakul. " Droupadi said. And we three laughed silently. Subhadra was about to walk away. Nakul came around to block her.

"Bhabi please. Tell me what Adrika said." He asked growing impatient.

"My jiji said.... She will come back here only you come to her as groom to take her." She said... Nakul was blank for a second. Then he hold Subhadra's both hand and said

"Bhabi please don't mess with me on this..." Subhadra lovingly cupped his left cheek and said

"I coming trayodashi we will march to Dwarika to bring your Bride. I will personally get you ready."

       Nakul smiled shyly at her. We all joined after that. We could enjoy this before we could start preparing for the greatest marriage of the time. Our brother and the life line of the whole kingdom.
